Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough analysis of records policies and SOPs from other agencies, identifying opportunities for alignment and implementation within the federal framework.Act as the main liaison for government agency policymakers and stakeholders, actively participating in internal policy discussions and strategic planning, providing expert advice on policy creation and implementation strategies.
  • Demonstrate outstanding writing skills to autonomously compose policies for validation and approval processes.
  • Create detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to bolster agency-wide records management policies. Deliver informative briefings to agency records officers.
  • Perform in-depth analysis of records policies and SOPs from other agencies to identify opportunities for alignment and implementation within the federal framework.

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) records management best practices, regulations, and standards.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven expertise in developing records management policies tailored for federal agencies.
  • Proficiency in collaborating within teams and working independently.
  • Ability to effectively engage with personnel across all organizational levels and specialized areas.
  • Outstanding writing and presentation capabilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and adeptness in high-pressure environments.

Job Description

The IQ Business Group (IQBG) is currently seeking an Enterprise Content and Records Management (ECRM) Project Manager & Records Management Specialist to support our team. The ECRM Project Manager will support the implementation process of OpenText Content Suite, directing and coordinating a team to successfully execute on the daily responsibilities in accordance with the approved plan. The ECRM Project Manager leads the team to success throughout the delivery, proactively manages communications and escalation paths, issues, status of projects, barriers, and successes, while monitoring performance to project leadership. 

The ECRM Project Manager should have records management subject matter expertise to lead the team through the delivery of a recommended implementation approach, while providing consultation on business process analysis and improvement. The ECRM Project Manager provides team guidance and leadership to achieve project objectives, adhere to records management policies pertaining to security and privacy standards, guidelines, programs, and procedures. 

The ECRM Project Manager provides functional guidance and expertise for configuration of OpenText Content Suite, including the records management module. Additional support and guidance to elicit requirements, develop specification, application testing, and application training is provided by the ECRM Project Manager. 

The ECRM Project Manager is a senior-level, multi-disciplinary role capable of multiple responsibilities, including superior communication with senior business and technology managers. The ECRM Project Manager position requires strong business and information analysis skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision in an agile project environment. 

 

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree. 

  • PMP Certification

  • 5-7 years relevant work experience, or a combination of relevant training and experience.

  • Experience or working knowledge of OpenText Content Suite: user interface, document capture, search, troubleshoot, and various RM functions. 

  • Knowledge of records management best practices and risk mitigation. 

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills. 

  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills. 

  • Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills. 

  • Detail oriented. 

  • Ability to multi-task. 

  • Proficient with the Microsoft 365, Atlassian Confluence, Jira.

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Master’s degree.
