A Customer Support Engineer’s primary duty is to provide customer support and assistance to customers, both internal and external. S/he should also be able to develop solutions in our low-code/ no-code tooling environment, Studio Z. They will work closely with internal teams as well as with customers to help investigate and resolve their issues.

What the role offers:

The Customer Support Engineer will work on front-line tickets that involve the intake of incidents, verifying all indicative data and issue descriptions, screenshots, records, documents, knowledge base, etc. Making sure all the prior information is present and documented within the ticket, the Support Engineer will work to recreate the reported issue and investigate further to determine the root cause of the issue and deliver a resolution to the customer. If the root cause cannot be determined, or the issue cannot be resolved, s/he will escalate the issue to the Solutions Development Team in an attempt to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

The Customer Support Engineer will also leverage the Low-code/ No-code toolkit to develop basic solutions for our customers, and should be able to train and coach the customer to use them if they have the skills available

A Customer Support Engineer should be able to communicate clearly in both written and verbal communication. S/he will be a strong listener who can drill deeper into a situation by asking the needed questions with the customer in order to gain better clarity of the issue to bring about a resolution. The Customer Support Engineer does require a familiarity with code and/or some programming experience, which is helpful in determining the root cause of the issue. It will also be important for the individual to communicate all learnings into Knowledge Base articles for future reference by team members and customers.

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • 3-5 years of Customer Support experience, preferably for a SaaS product in the B2B space
  • At Least 1-2 years working with end customers’ tickets

What the role offers

You'll join a smart group of engineers who build and manage the low code no-code platform. We're passionate about scalable and highly reusable systems - just like you! You'll apply your experience with technologies to construct distributed, large-scale services that provide building blocks and services to the low code no code platform. This includes rearchitecting the existing web application and taking the platform to the next level.

Other things you’ll be responsible for are:

  • Design and implementation of the web application of the low code no-code platform for the field services
  • Leading team and cross team projects.
  • Coaching and mentoring other specialists on the team to ensure that all software utilizes the best practices for modern scalable architecture.
  • Collaborate efficiently with product management, technical program management, operations, and other engineering teams to capture requirements, drive implementation, and provide transparency.

What you’ll bring to the role

  • 10+ years of experience developing large scale web applications for the modern SaaS platforms and bias for great design and attention to detail, and experience with responsive web design
  • Excellent skills on end to end web development skills - Javascript ES6, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap/Flex, React JS/Angular, Javascript etc
  • Solid understanding of the full web technology stack (e.g. HTTP, cookies, headers, asset lazy loading / caching, CDNs, caching, compression, Webpack etc.)
  • Have practiced TDD or have experience unit testing through Jest/Jasmine/Enzyme/Mocha/Chai
  • Experience using source control systems (git, bitbucket etc), docker, containers, kubernetes, ansible, terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Develop applications keeping in mind last mile performance,cross-browser compatibility, web security (XSRF, cross-site scripting defense)
  • Basic understanding of REST APIs and REST clients
  • Good understanding of programming concepts such as common data structures and algorithms, profiling / optimization
  • Passionate about code and code quality. Understands clean code, SOLID principles
  • Understanding of database schemas that represent and support business processes

Reporting to the VP of Sales North America, you will be the primary owner of all sales and business development activities in your assigned region. You will play a key role in developing new business and managing key accounts to rapidly grow the company. You will be responsible for implementing a structured sales plan aimed at generating new business, and to build strong, trust-based relationships with customer decision makers at the “CXO” level.

  • Participate in weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting and sales cadence
  • Work cross functionally to support the success of Zinier customers and ZInier in your focus markets
  • Manage all opportunities by navigating the critical success factors, competitive challenges, partner landscape, objections and other complex issues to ensure successful outcomes in the territoryBeing the trusted advisor to the customer by understanding their existing and future IT roadmap to drive the Zinier solution within the market

What you’ll bring to the role

  • Minimum 5 years of Enterprise Software Sales experience; you’ve gotta love to sell and hit those goals!
