About the Role (your why)  

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of integration platforms, techniques and approaches along with general application development & cloud architecture methodologies and a proven track record in delivering complex solutions. This role will be pivotal in driving our pre-sales consulting activities, including RFx, discovery, solution design, and estimation for various integration, and application development projects. This is a client facing role, so you'll need to be an excellent communicator and good with people. The Principal Consultant works closely with practice leads, project managers, and client stakeholders and teams.

What you’ll do   

Pre-Sales Consulting:

• Lead and participate in client discovery workshops to understand business requirements, technical challenges and provide customers with compelling soltuions
• Design and architect robust application solutions, aligning with business objectives and technical constraints.
• Develop compelling technical proposals and presentations to win new business.
• Provide accurate and timely estimates for project scopes and timelines.

Solution Architecture:

• Define and document detailed application architecture blueprints, including component diagrams, data flows, and integration points.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges.
• Ensure alignment with industry best practices and standards.
• Technical Leadership:
• Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest application development trends and technologies.
• Contribute to the development of reusable frameworks and methodologies.

Client Engagement:

• Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proactively address client concerns and questions.

Summary  

insightsoftware is seeking a Learning Consultant to join our internal Learning & Development team.  This role is responsible for organizational development, communications, and consulting with the business to build learning programs aligned to our goals and in support of our employee value proposition to become your best professional self. 

Responsibilities

Product Certification Program

• Design, update and manage our product certification program to ensure the mastery at each level of certification for employees in partnership with subject matter experts.
• Create and manage a project plan and communication plan for new and/or updated product learning programs and communicate status to stakeholders.  Adhere to deadlines and ensure communications are sent announcing new programs.
• Report status of certification completions by employees and encourage adoption through internal marketing.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to manage prioritization of the development with the needs of our partners and customers.

Organizational Development

• Responsible for core learning programs for individual contributors across the organization; leverage off-the-shelf content and create company specific content as needed.
• Design and develop learning and development programs, curriculum, and processes aligned to our competencies and business goals for individual contributors across the organization.  
• Produce and facilitate virtual training programs as needed.
• Monitor and evaluate training program’s effectiveness, success and ROI and assimilate data for metrics reporting.
• Assist and partner with internal HR team in the design and implementation of programming to support initiatives such as, DEI, etc.
• Manage vendor delivered courses from contract execution to delivery and evaluation.

Communications & Change Management

• Manage and write the bi-weekly people newsletter distributed across the organization in collaboration with HR team members.  Incorporate L&D announcements in every issue to communicate visibility of available programs and courses.
• Manage the HR intranet content in collaboration with internal HR stakeholders to curate and update content on a regular basis.

Other Responsibilities

• Manage tuition assistance approvals and reimbursement requests as needed. 
• Maintain an understanding of training trends, developments and industry practices and share knowledge with L&D team.
• Facilitate new hire orientation for North America new hires occasionally.  Ensure new hires feel welcomed by providing a positive onboarding experience.
• Partner with our M&A Team to manage the HR onboarding process for newly acquired employees as needed.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Instructional Design or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience in related field
• Minimum 3+ years of experience designing, facilitating, and developing learning programs at all levels of an organization
• Strong instructional design skills
• Experience with managing certification programs
• Experience in creating communications, newsletters, and familiarity with change management methodologies
• Must possess strong project management skills and business acumen
• Strong communication skills (both oral and written)
• Strong facilitation skills via remote learning platforms and communication technologies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
• Proficient with course development tools including Rise or Articulate 360, Camtasia, and voice over tools such as Eleven Labs
• Learning Management System and assessment tool experience, ideally with Workday Learning and Questionmark
• Detail-oriented, self-starter ability to work independently
• Strong problem solver with the ability to present issues clearly and provide solutions
• Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast paced environment
• ATD Certification preferred

The Principal Consultant on the Offensive Security team is focused on assessing and challenging the security posture across a comprehensive portfolio of clients. The individual will utilize a variety of tools developed and act as a key team member and leader in client engagements. They will be the client’s advocate for cybersecurity best practices and will provide strong recommendations in this domain.

Your Impact

• Perform red and purple team assessments (with and without industry regulator oversight), assumed breach assessments (red team engagements with a pre-deployed implant), ransomware readiness reviews (assessing susceptibly to modern ransomware threats), threat analysis and social-engineering assessments.
• Develop scripts, tools, and methodologies to automate and streamline internal processes and engagements. Examples include Terraform and Ansible, custom payload generators / loaders.
• Conduct cloud penetration testing engagements to assess specific workloads (i.e., AWS, GCP, Azure, containers, or other PaaS and SaaS instances) for vulnerabilities and subsequently attempt to exploit identified weakness after receiving permission from client stakeholders.
• Lead scoping and services overview conversations with clients for prospective engagements in area of expertise, presenting with credibility and authority, clearly articulating various testing approaches and methodologies to audiences ranging from highly technical to executive personnel
• Determines processes and procedures to be followed on assignments. On large and complex engagements, lead technical workstreams with guidance and oversight as required.
• Leads communications with clients on engagements, including highly technical matters, ensuring client inquiries are responded to promptly.
• Ability to lead engagement delivery through to completion, manage engagement economics to deliver projects on time and on budget and uphold high standards of quality.
• Mentor and coach new team members and lead by example, demonstrating technical skills and procedures during engagements. Delegate tasks and provide feedback to empower team members to produce high-quality results.
• Ability to perform travel requirements as needed to meet business demands 

Qualifications

Your Experience 

• 8+ years of professional experience with cyber security tools, technologies, and methods focused on Red/Purple Teaming.
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of how malicious software works (i.e.malware, trojans, rootkits, etc.)
• Ability to modify known and/or craft custom exploits manually without dependence on consumer tools.
• Ability to create bypasses to security tools, and weaponize payloads for delivery on social-engineering engagements.
• Demonstrable experience of evasion techniques.
• Strong experience with Active Directory and attack killchain
• Experience with penetration testing, administering, and troubleshooting major flavours of Linux, Windows, and major cloud IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS providers (i.e., AWS, GCP, and Azure)
• Experience with scripting and editing existing code and programming using one or more of the following - Perl, Python, ruby, bash, C/C++, C#, or Java
• Ability to read and use the results of mobile code, malicious code, and anti-virus software.
• Demonstrable experience of threat-intelligence led red teaming frameworks such as CORIE, CBEST, TIBER-EU 
• Track record of championing innovation and improvement initiatives for your area of expertise, identifying emerging trends and technologies and developing leading solutions to address client needs.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Digital Forensics, Cyber Security, or equivalent years of professional experience or equivalent military experience to meet job requirements and expectations
• Professional industry certifications such as:

Position Overview
As an Sr. Application Consultant, you will be responsible for the implementation, migration, and ongoing support of Historian systems for various clients. You will work closely with our engineering teams, OT support, and clients to ensure efficient and reliable data management from sensors to enterprise systems. Your work will focus on optimizing performance and ensuring that critical infrastructure operates securely and efficiently.  Key Responsibilities

• Design, Configure, and Implement Historian Systems: Architect, build and deploy new AVEVA PI infrastructures for various clients across industries, ensuring proper integration with client systems. This may include scoping client requirements and providing presales consulting.
• Migration Projects: Execute seamless migration from legacy systems to modern AVEVA PI systems, following best practices for data integrity and system availability.
• System Integration: Integrate AVEVA PI with existing Operational Technology (OT) systems, including SCADA and DCS, to enable real-time data collection and reporting.
• Data Management: Configure and manage PI Tags, AF (Asset Framework) hierarchies, event frames, and notifications for efficient data flow and visualization.
• Collaboration: Work with internal and external stakeholders, including cross-functional teams, to gather requirements, propose solutions, and ensure project success.
• Testing and Troubleshooting: Conduct performance testing and resolve issues to optimize AVEVA PI system performance and reliability.
• Training: Provide training to ensure clients understand how to use and maximize the value of their AVEVA PI System. Training sessions can be tailored to the specific needs of the client.
• Ongoing Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing support for AVEVA PI environments, including troubleshooting, system tuning, and performance monitoring.

General Technology Expertise

• Technical Expertise:
• Strong experience with AVEVA PI System architecture, including Data Archive, AF Server, and PI Interface/Connector configurations.
• Knowledge of PI Vision, PI ProcessBook, PI AF (Asset Framework), and PI DataLink for reporting and visualization.
• Understanding of real-time data collection systems in industrial environments (SCADA, DCS, OPC, Modbus, BACnet, Matrikon Tunneller).
• Knowledge of other historian systems and integration: EtaPRO, Wonderware, Proficy, etc.
• Familiarity with industrial protocols and automation platforms, including PLC, RTU, and HMI systems.

ICS / OT Experience and Skills

• Experience:
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in AVEVA PI system implementation and support.
• Proven experience in executing system migrations from older versions of PI to the latest AVEVA suite.
• Experience in working with OT data, industrial IoT solutions, or in the energy, manufacturing, or healthcare sectors.
• Experience in providing technical leadership and support for presales activities.
• Familiarity with other data historians, PLCs, and SCADA systems is a plus.
• Skills:
• Experience with cloud environments, especially Azure and hybrid architectures.
• AVEVA PI certification or relevant industry certifications.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity practices in OT environments.
• Experience working in an MSP or with a variety of clients across industries.
