Overview:

Join the Conversation Orchestration team at LivePerson as a hands-on Technical Lead! In this exciting role, you will work with internal and external AI platforms to improve and simplify brand-to-customer messaging experiences. Responsibilities:

Products include but are not limited to TDM, Ethernet and SDWAN. You will play a key role in modernizing Lumen’s legacy systems that we will acquire. You are expected to have a broad experience with software development, product delivery, agile, descopes and cloud computing. This role requires a love of learning and problem solving, and the ability to guide a team towards implementing architectures and solutions.

You will report directly to the Director, Service Assurance Systems.

As Manager, IT Service Assurance Systems - Enterprise & Wholesale, your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the design and implementation of Service Assurance systems specific to E&W business
  • Coordinate and drive the delivery across IT and Business partners in a multi-vendor environment through the SDLC – requirements, architecture, design, development, testing, deployment, and support
  • Hands-on involvement as needed in all areas of SDLC – development, debugging, verification and testing, production monitoring and performance analysis
  • Lay out enterprise architecture and design for systems and applications spanning multiple departments and organizations
  • Review, document and publish the architecture, interfaces, and design documents based on sessions with IT and business partners and existing artifacts
  • Translate business requirements to software specification and requirements
  • Track and manage IT KPIs and OKRs; leverage the larger delivery ecosystem to drive target achievement
  • Generate reports and metrics for IT and business reviews, preparing updates for executive leadership
  • Work closely with senior management, analyzing long-term business goals and suggesting ways the organization might achieve these goals with technology
  • Influence, negotiate, build consensus, and align with peer engineering, product, business teams and vendor partners on solutioning and implementation
  • Provide industry knowledge, experience, and best practices to help the team stay ahead of the curve in keeping our technology stack cutting edge

Qualifications

WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering with at least 5 years of leadership experience
  • 5+ Years of development experience with ServiceNow and Java
  • Strong understanding of Ethernet, SDWAN, electrical/optical products
  • Strong understanding of Layer 1, 2, 3 inventory
  • 3+ years of design and development in the OSS/BSS space in Service Assurance
  • Experience leading software development lifecycle including concept, design, prototyping, integration, testing, and production release
  • Experience with designing and implementing APIs using Apigee Edge.
  • Experience in implementing API Security and Access Control (OAuth/SAML, Web SSO, SSL etc.)
  • Experience building Cloud-native applications with integration with the Big Data ecosystems (Hadoop, NoSql, Spark etc.) is a Plus.
  • Working knowledge of web platform technologies such as Java, Spring framework, MVC, REST, Graph, Kafka, GraphDB Web services in a hybrid/multi-cloud environment.
  • Good experience with one of the major cloud providers GCP or Azure
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to prioritize the key business programs by collaborating with business partners

Overview

LivePerson Tenfold is a state-of-the-art, born-in-the-cloud SaaS offering. Our Cloud platform is a multi-tenanted solution hosted on GCP using a modern technology stack. Most of our cloud software is deployed as microservices written in Node.JS on top of a NoSQL DB stack (MongoDB, Firebase, ElasticSearch). Our telephony connector layer is a mixture of ASP/.Net and Java code.

The customer facing app is written in TypeScript using the modern Angular framework. It is deployed in several different contexts including as a Chrome extension, Electron desktop applications for both Windows and Mac, and embedded in a number of CRMs (including Salesforce) in an iFrame.

You will be working directly with the customer facing application. As a Software Developer you will build components of the LivePerson Tenfold product with a focus on stability and innovation. You will be adding new features, creating new APIs, and working to delight our customers.

You Will

  • Architect, Design and implement business software and underlying APIs
  • Work with Product Management to create delightful user experiences
  • Create platform-independent code that can be run on multi-browser, multi-OS environments
  • Play a critical role in all architecture, coding, testing, and deployment decisions.
  • Produce engineering specifications, delivery estimates, and implement solutions based on product requirements.
