Role:

Our Ads team is building out the Ads Ecosystem at Tubi to help advertisers reach their target audience as well as users to enjoy their favorite content for free. You will work with Tubi’s Machine Learning and Data Science teams to build distributed systems that place ads most optimally on Tubi apps through sophisticated algorithms on ad delivery pacing and planning. You will improve the way we deploy and operate our services and even contribute to open-source projects. 

Responsibilities:

  • Design and build scalable, high throughput, and/or low latency distributed systems using Scala
  • API and service development with quality code and test coverage
  • Drive innovation and experimentation by proposing and prototyping new features and technologies, and evaluating their potential impact on the system
  • Conduct code reviews and provide feedback (especially critical feedback) to ensure the quality and consistency of the codebase

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience designing and developing scalable distributed systems with one or more JVM languages (we use Scala)
  • 4+ years of experience with relational databases, caching technologies, and message brokers
  • Proven experience building near real-time services that are high-performing, scalable, and fault-tolerant

About the Role:

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and efficient motion graphics artist to join our growing team. You will be partnering with internal creatives and producers to create visually stunning and strategically effective motion graphics for Tubi Originals trailers. The right fit for this role will be someone who has 5+ years of motion design experience, within an Entertainment environment. The ideal candidate should be passionate about all aspects of typography, design, and animation. Candidates must demonstrate an excellent knowledge of industry standard design programs for the creation of high-end motion graphic design projects from sketch to finish. This position requires at least 5+ years of work experience in Theatrical Motion Graphics.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities:

  • 2D and 3D design and animation of motion graphics for concurrent projects including trailers, main title designs, graphics packages, transitions, and more for a broad range of content genres including Entertainment, B2B, and Corporate
  • Concept original designs and present as style frames, storyboards, or mood boards
  • Re-versioning existing campaigns to ensure that new elements match provided footage and seamlessly composite together in accordance with creative direction
  • Export and deliver appropriate files to the provided specifications
  • Track and organize graphics software, stock assets, plugins, assets, style-guides, and naming conventions in compliance with Tubi standards and practices
  • Apply expert understanding of the post-production process and how graphics and editorial come together to create high-impact content 
  • Demonstrate a strong design POV with an eye for color, composition, and typography
  • Develop systems for creating top-notch work within a short timeline
  • Champion design innovation, test and learn, and apply new design practices
  • Ability to select the right assets for your concepts (stock textures, elements, etc.)
  • Collaborate and communicate clearly with key stakeholders, including Creative Director and Project Managers, and Editors to maintain best practices and meet design project deadlines
  • Manage a variety of design projects simultaneously

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years experience designing motion graphics for Entertainment properties at an agency, studio, or in-house network 
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (primarily After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop, including related plugins)
  • Expert technical knowledge of post-production process, file formats, and delivery specs for Digital, Social, Theatrical, and Broadcast platforms
  • Exceptional design, layout, and typography skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on attention to detail
  • Able to effectively communicate creative ideas within a collaborative environment
  • Highly organized workflow to ensure seamless project exchange between colleagues

About the Role:

Qualifications:

  • 8+ year’s video content editing experience, with heavy focus on trailers, promos, and sizzle reels at an agency, studio or in-house brand
  • Proven experience in developing, producing, and executing high quality video work (inclusive of graphics heavy projects)
  • Exceptional editing skills in Adobe Premiere Pro. Experience with Sapphire plugins is a plus
  • Excellent ability to pre visualize motion graphics

About the Role:

The Tubi Security team is responsible for securing Tubi and Adrise applications and infrastructure. As a member of the Tubi Security team, the Staff Cloud Security Engineer will be responsible for securing the cloud infrastructure of both applications. Candidates for this should have a passion for reducing security risks in a cloud environment while building great partnerships with key stakeholders and engineers. 

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain secure architecture and infrastructure components, including networks, systems, and cloud environments, in accordance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements
  • Develop and deploy security controls and monitoring systems to detect and prevent security threats, intrusions, and vulnerabilities
  • Conduct and perform security reviews, threat models, and security assessments to identify and remediate security weaknesses
  • Build automation and tools for security fixes and policy enforcement
  • Participate in incident response, red/blue team exercises, and vulnerability triage 

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity with a focus on cloud and infrastructure security
  • Deep understanding of cloud security architecture (AWS preferred) and network security
  • Hands-on experience with SIEM, WAF and DDOS prevention tools
  • An understanding of security best practices, frameworks and principles such as OWASP Top 10, NIST CSF, SLSA Framework, and zero-trust
  • Great understanding of modern cloud technology components and deployment pattern such as containers, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, etc
  • Experience performing threat models and risk assessments
  • Familiarity with compliance and privacy regulations such as SOX and GDPR
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills with proven ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders

What You'll Do:

  • Leverage data to create clear and concise presentation decks to support key initiatives, drive strategic decisions, and influence meetings with internal stakeholders and external partners

Qualifications: 

  • Keen interest in and knowledge of technology and streaming (knowledge of the OTT & mobile app landscape a plus)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Gsuite with a particular focus on skills with Google Sheets and Google Slides (or similar spreadsheet and presentation software)
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Passion for Movies & TV shows
  • mySQL or Redshift skills a plus
