VetsEZ is seeking a Requirements Analyst to join our remote team and support our customer, the Department of Veterans Affairs. The Requirements Analyst will be responsible for understanding the needs of the client/business and translating into requirements for the Medallia solution to be developed. They will additionally be responsible for interfacing with GS 14, 15, and SES level clients to provide functional support throughout a hybrid agile software development lifecycle.

This project supports the development of a department-wide enterprise measurement strategy and the underlying functions to implement it, including capability lifecycle management, configuration, enhancement, data management and O&M support.

Position Responsibilities:

• Work with clients and subject matter experts to define the user experience and product requirements that are technically feasible within the Medallia product suite for the uncovered business need and solution.

• Develop epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria to facilitate the understanding of the functionality to the client and development teams.

• Participate in product demos and provide quality assurance testing to ensure the functionality developed satisfies the business need.

• Work with the Product Owner to support development of a project plan, product strategy, and roadmap based on the understanding of the business needs and pain points.

• Maintain program backlog by engaging with the clients, stakeholders, subject matter experts and business architects.

• Prepare standard reports to update clients and internal team leadership on project status.

• Communicate and coordinate activities between teams, external and internal clients, and contract stakeholders pertaining to team products and product delivery to end‐users.

Required Qualifications:

• 6 - 12 years of work experience and must hold a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree.

• Must be a US Citizen with ability and willingness to acquire a Tier 1 Public Trust clearance with the VA.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills for understanding project needs/requirements and relaying those requirements to external stakeholders.

• Strong organizational skills to maintain and track towards project timelines and milestones, field and prioritize requests from clients and stakeholders, and validate all product specifications are met.

• Ability to quickly adapt and excel in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience working with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, and JIRA.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with gathering requirements for Medallia.

• Medallia Operational Customer Experience Management (OCEM) certification.

• 2+ years of prior consulting experience and 1+ years working in, or with, the Federal Government, ideally with the VA. 1+ years of prior experience in healthcare.

• Master’s degree.

• Experience and aptitude for managing, working and communication with diverse stakeholders, teams and clients face-to-face.

• Prior experience in developing business requirements in an agile environment.

    • Assess operating system and security configuration guidelines into images for IT product initialization and deployment within the infrastructure SCAP-SCCD-BigFix.
    • Experience working in the FedRAMP cloud environment, understanding IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS regarding cloud service provider security control responsibilities and customer responsibilities.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or any other relevant discipline is required.
    • A minimum of five (5) years of Information Security Experience, of which at least 3 years are of Cybersecurity and Cloud Security experience at a large Government agency similar in size/scope to GSA, IRS, DoD, or VA.
    • Expert communication and consultative support to the VA on matters related to system security certification & accreditation and Authority to Operate (ATO), using Risk Management Framework (RMF).
    • Experience and Technical knowledge of Network and Software Development.
    • Experience in the creation of Security-Specific documentation such as Incident Response, Contingency Planning, and Disaster Recovery processes.
    • Familiarity with the security controls outlined by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), as well as the Governance, Risk Management Framework (RMF), and security compliance procedures.
    • Skilled in providing support for system Authority to Operate (ATO) processes, including the creation of artifacts, implementation of controls, and development of POAMs.
    • Capable of facilitating meetings, conducting a thorough analysis of authorization documents and associated artifacts to identify any gaps, establishing a schedule to address outstanding authorization requirements, and effectively coordinating with stakeholders within the system team.
    • Proficient in utilizing the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) tool to manage intricate system records.
    • Experience in IT and Cloud design, security, development, systems engineering, and implementation efforts.

    Additional Qualifications:

    • Ability to obtain a government clearance.
    • One or more of the following: IAT II, IAM II or IASAE II certifications: ISC2 CISSP, ISC2 CAP, ISC2 SSCP, ISC2 CCSP, ISC2 ISSEP, ISACA, CISM, CISA, ISC2, EC-COUNCIL CEH, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+
