Hello, we at AMBOSS are currently looking for a full-time University Sales Manager. You have completed your medical degree, are communicative and want to be actively involved in building and developing strong partnerships with universities? Then this position could be just right for you!

You will:

You'll be the backbone for the growth of our campus market in LATAM. This means building and maintaining relationships with universities, being responsible for the acquisition of new campus licenses, making medical students aware of AMBOSS, and networking with key stakeholders to convince them about the value proposition of AMBOSS. You will participate in local events and work with marketing on local marketing campaigns.

As you take on these responsibilities, you’ll dive deeper into key areas:

  • First, you will get an overview of which universities in the LATAM already have a campus license and outreach to the new ones.
  • As the lead negotiator in future discussions, you will prepare accordingly for the talks and building up a strong pipeline with new opportunities
  • Building up a strong network with key decision-makers at universities
  • Coordinating sales and pricing strategies for respective deals with the Head of B2B 
  • Preparing offers and negotiating pricing according to AMBOSS latest pricing strategy for each respective region 
  • Developing an understanding of university interests and objectives and communicating ways that universities can innovate their teaching/curricula using AMBOSS
  • Researching, documenting, and sharing market intelligence; stay up-to-date on trends in academic and clinic medicine and EdTech for the region(s) worked in
  • Working closely with the B2P team to generate new leads

You bring

  • A completed medical degree 
  • A strong communicational skills and a conviction that every university should offer an AMBOSS campus license.
  • An interest in exploring behind the scenes to understand university budgeting and how to negotiate confidently.
  • Talent in organizing and the ability to keep track of multiple parallel projects.
  • Native level of Spanish language and good level of English skills 
  • Enthusiasm for presenting AMBOSS at local conferences and sharing your passion with students, faculty members, librarians, and even deans.
  • A willingness to learn more about tracking negotiations and presenting regular reports internally.

You will do:

  • Leverage your physician experience to lead the development of the Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy for targeted new clinician markets, in collaboration with the Director of the US Clinicians Market: 
      • Understand the competitive landscape and unique customer needs in each new target group.
      • Identify and prioritize key market entry points based on growth potential and investment required.
      • Build and execute an end-to-end GTM strategy, including positioning, messaging, and direct customer sales.
  • Lead and execute on Market Performance Analysis & Optimization:

      • Gather customer feedback and market insights to inform continuous improvements to the product and positioning.
      • Deliver regular reports and presentations on market expansion progress, challenges, and results to the Director of the US Clinicians market and additional stakeholders.
  • Create compelling marketing messages through written copy and visuals that reflect our unique brand and offering for the targeted audience.

Sales Manager will be the backbone for the growth of our campus market in Asia. Join us and be responsible for the acquisition of new campus licenses, network with key stakeholders to convince them about the value proposition of AMBOSS. You will participate in local and international events and work with marketing on local marketing campaigns.

You will:

Strategic:

  • Coordinate sales and pricing strategies for respective deals with the Head of B2B 
  • Prepare offers and negotiate pricing according to AMBOSS latest pricing strategy for each respective region 
  • Develop an understanding of university interests and objectives and communicate ways that universities can innovate their teaching/curricula using AMBOSS
  • Generating new business from the University campus market
  • Research, document, and share market intelligence; stay up-to-date on trends in academic and clinic medicine and EdTech for region(s) worked in
  • Where present, coordinate with growth country and other market managers to formulate the best growth strategy for the respective country for AMBOSS
  • Work closely with the B2C team to generate new leads

Sales Cycle:

  • Manage and develop a sales pipeline to ensure achievement of annual and quarterly revenue sales targets 
  • Present the value proposition to fit a potential customer’s needs and overall strategic goals of a medical school/university 
  • Identify, proactively approach and networks with relevant stakeholders in the market such as deans, librarians, and learning specialists – to strengthen relationships and to increase AMBOSS usage by institutions and students 
  • In addition generating new business from the University market
  • Raise awareness for prospective clients and paid partnerships of our AMBOSS solutions through trials, on-site demos, medical education conferences networking with industry stakeholders and coordinate execution of these 
  • Local/International travel to visit universities conferences and prospects
  • Collaborate internally with other channels like roadshow/B2C market PM’s, communications/marketing, and editorial teams to make sure our efforts stay aligned and are supported by these, contribute to quarterly market reviews with B2B related insights
  • Track all your activities in our CRM system on a daily base

You bring: 

  • At least 3-5+ years of direct sales experience in strategic & complex multi-stakeholder deals within Universities.
  • Experience in meeting and selling to Dean and Vice Dean C-level contacts within a University
  • Knowledge of the medical university market, medical teaching market, or experience in selling Healthcare IT solutions is desirable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential
  • Confident and able to deal with customers at all levels, and to demonstrate/present the value of the solution to a diverse target audience and articulate how these benefit to a healthcare provider(s) and its users
  • Proven ability to build, develop and maintain a wide number of business relationships 
  • Commercially aware and with strong business acumen
  • Independent, highly motivated with the ability to work autonomously, managing and prioritizing activities to meet prospect needs as well AMBOSS sales targets
  • English and local language. Excellent IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as a general understanding of CRM systems.
  • Willing and able to travel within the territory (up to 60%)

Join us in driving growth across Southeast Asia, one of Asia's most promising markets. As Partnerships Manager, you'll be on the ground in key countries where we already have a presence and can accelerate growth through in-person initiatives and strategic partnerships. You'll work with our B2B team to expand campus licenses, attend conferences to boost brand awareness, and foster connections in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, and the Philippines.   • Take over responsibility of existing partnerships 
  • Set up and negotiate new partnerships based on insights from the market lead and market analyses

  • Represent AMBOSS at key events and congresses, give presentations and workshops

The People Operations Manager is the go-to person for all operations-related employee experience initiatives that support the function to achieve their goals. You will work closely with the People Business Partners, AMBOSSians, and their leaders, and report directly to the Head of People Operations.
In this role you will have impact on a growing scale-up, and be part of a unique team built on collaboration, openness, inclusivity, and professional growth.

You will: 

  • Offer administrative support to our extensive team of over 500 employees across multiple global locations, including Berlin, Cologne, New York, Italy, and remote home offices worldwide.
  • Contribute to and take charge of People Operations projects, ensuring the seamless execution of initiatives enhancing employee experience and organizational efficiency
  • Keep a vigilant eye on our ticketing system Zendesk, prioritizing and addressing employee queries promptly and effectively
  • Prepare and issue various  documents, including contracts, side letters, amendments, certificates, and reference letters (partly automated)
  • Support our monthly (international) payroll operations
  • Contribute to cross-departmental projects in collaboration with the Business Partner and Talent Acquisition team
  • Uphold a high standard of data accuracy within our HRIS , ensuring that employee records and information are well maintained and up-to-date, enabling smooth operations and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Proactively identify and continuously improve challenges in the employee cycle

You bring: 

  • Solid knowledge of German labor law
  • 2-5 years experience explicitly in People Operations functions, able to navigate complex challenges within the scope of People Operations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of our audience, and product features and adequately convey your knowledge of the marketing strategy.

  • You have 5+ years of digital marketing experience with a proven track record of stakeholder management,  driving market share and revenue growth.

  • You are comfortable with developing and implementing marketing strategies (incl. positioning, value prop, and copy).

  • Deutsch auf muttersprachlichem Niveau und Beherrschung der medizinischen Fachsprache; fließende Englischkenntnisse.
  • Abgeschlossene Ausbildung zur/zum Gesundheits- und Krankenpfleger:in, Pflegefachkraft, Gesundheits- und Kinderkrankenpfleger:in oder Altenpfleger:in.
