About the role

As Chief of Staff, you will be instrumental in shaping AMBOSS's future, by helping the Co-CEO and markets, marketing and sales leaders (= commercial) enable their vision, overcome challenges and continue shaping the company. You’ll collaborate across teams to bring impactful projects to life and guide the team to stay on top of the key topics. You’ll act as a trusted partner to the commercial leadership team, executing strategic and operational projects, ensuring a seamless collaboration and strong alignment between our commercial, R&D, Finance, and People teams and taking on challenges as they arise. This is a unique opportunity for a person who’s curious to get involved in a broad range of topics across the business and wants to contribute directly to the direction of the company, working  on the source for innovation of the landscape of medical education.  

What you will be doing:

Strategy and Project Management

  • Partner with the Co-CEO and Sales, Marketing, and Market Leadership teams to turn strategic visions into actionable plans and drive their execution across the organization.
  • Provide project management and internal communication support to ensure leadership priorities are executed effectively.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Finance on annual planning, monthly performance reviews, and cost analysis to meet operational and financial objectives.
  • Take ownership of special projects and address urgent gaps or challenges with agility and focus.

Team Operations and Communications

  • Prepare high-quality updates for board meetings and commercial team all-hands, delivering key insights with clarity and precision.
  • Plan, document, and lead key team events, including monthly market leadership meetings, quarterly all-hands, and strategic workshops.
  • Manage internal communications for the commercial team, ensuring the timely distribution of information and fostering team engagement.
  • Act as a unifying force across commercial, finance, people, and R&D teams to enhance communication, resolve cross-departmental challenges, and promote collaboration.

Organizational Development

  • Partner strategically with the Head of People to continuously elevate our hiring and performance management while fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture within the commercial team.
  • Collaborate with the Head of People and Co-CEO to build a scalable organisation and team structure which supports the growth ambitions of the company.
  • Lead change management initiatives to help the organization adapt and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Champion company culture by driving initiatives that improve team engagement and reinforce core values.

Executive Support

  • Serve as a trusted sparring partner to the Co-CEO and Commercial Leadership Team, prioritizing initiatives, drafting proposals, and providing critical input for decision-making.
  • Work alongside the Executive Assistant to keep the Co-CEO focused on high-impact priorities and organized in day-to-day activities.
  • Represent the Co-CEOs perspective in meetings, ensuring alignment, clarity, and progress toward shared goals.

What you are bringing: 

  • Experience: 5+ years in consulting or a commercial, marketing, or sales operations role within a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication:Fluent in English and German, with exceptional verbal and written communication skills and a knack for simplifying complex information into clear messaging.
  • Strategic Thinking:Good understanding of marketing and sales activities, with the ability to grasp new topics quickly and independently translate high-level ideas into actionable plans.

The position 

We seek a motivated Associate Account Manager to join our dynamic US Roadshow Team at AMBOSS. As an Account Manager Associate, you will be at the forefront of introducing healthcare education to students. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, organizing and executing events for US medical students to promote the AMBOSS platform. You will:

You bring:

  • Strong analytical skills: ability to methodically collect and interpret qualitative and quantitative data  in order to make informed decisions and optimize sales strategies.
  • High level of organizational and detail-oriented skills to be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

You will

Leadership and Management:

  • Together with Roman, our Director of Customer Support, you are responsible for the continuous training and development of the Customer Success team
  • You identify opportunities for your direct reports’ growth and next career step by task delegation, feedback rounds beyond primary performance

Customer Success Strategy & Operations:

  • Together with your team you ensure a smooth onboarding of institutional partners. You implement and monitor a suitable (technical) launch setup and early engagement.
  • Own and optimize the onboarding processes while keeping an eye on every step of the customer journey
  • You and your team are responsible for increasing the activation rate and usage of our AMBOSS licenses to ensure customer retention and to enable upselling potential at renewal
  • Be responsible for regular monitoring of customer health metrics as a central instrument for determining customer benefit, loyalty and churn risk. Creating and measuring customer satisfaction and collecting and analyzing qualitative product feedback
  • Drive retention initiatives alongside our sales and marketing teams and keep leadership in the loop with insightful reporting and concrete action plans
  • Co-responsible with our sales team for impactful product training tailored for hospitals, universities, and private practices, making sure every partner gets the most out of AMBOSS
  • Representing the Customer Success Team in stakeholder meetings and proactively contributing to the user-facing experiences by bringing in the customer perspective
  • Supporting product development by collecting and sharing relevant customer feedback

You bring

  • 5+ years of experience in Customer Success or a similar customer facing role (i.e. Sales) and at least 1 year of experience in team leadership / management
  • You have experience in directly influencing customer health and retention metrics and are strong in analytics
  • Great communication skills and it’s easy for you to present to our customers as well as internal stakeholders and senior management
  • Empathy and you are able to understand customer needs, goals and challenges quickly by finding solutions that balance customer needs with business needs
  • You inspire, mentor, and motivate team members while fostering a collaborative and supportive environment

We seek a motivated Medical Student Engagement Associate to join our dynamic US Roadshow Team at AMBOSS. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, organizing and executing events for US medical students to promote the AMBOSS platform. You will play a key role in brainstorming engaging event ideas, building genuine connections with students, and overseeing logistical and organizational details from start to finish. You will:

  • Strategize, plan and execute events, workshops, and webinars to introduce AMBOSS to US medical students - especially in their clinical stage of studying.

You will:

You'll be the backbone for the growth of our campus market in LATAM. Sales Manager will be the backbone for the growth of our campus market in Asia. Join us and be responsible for the acquisition of new campus licenses, network with key stakeholders to convince them about the value proposition of AMBOSS. You will participate in local and international events and work with marketing on local marketing campaigns.

You will:

Strategic:

  • Coordinate sales and pricing strategies for respective deals with the Head of B2B 
  • Prepare offers and negotiate pricing according to AMBOSS latest pricing strategy for each respective region 
  • Develop an understanding of university interests and objectives and communicate ways that universities can innovate their teaching/curricula using AMBOSS
  • Generating new business from the University campus market
  • Research, document, and share market intelligence; stay up-to-date on trends in academic and clinic medicine and EdTech for region(s) worked in
  • Where present, coordinate with growth country and other market managers to formulate the best growth strategy for the respective country for AMBOSS
  • Work closely with the B2C team to generate new leads

Sales Cycle:

  • Manage and develop a sales pipeline to ensure achievement of annual and quarterly revenue sales targets 
  • Present the value proposition to fit a potential customer’s needs and overall strategic goals of a medical school/university 
  • Identify, proactively approach and networks with relevant stakeholders in the market such as deans, librarians, and learning specialists – to strengthen relationships and to increase AMBOSS usage by institutions and students 
  • In addition generating new business from the University market
  • Raise awareness for prospective clients and paid partnerships of our AMBOSS solutions through trials, on-site demos, medical education conferences networking with industry stakeholders and coordinate execution of these 
  • Local/International travel to visit universities conferences and prospects
  • Collaborate internally with other channels like roadshow/B2C market PM’s, communications/marketing, and editorial teams to make sure our efforts stay aligned and are supported by these, contribute to quarterly market reviews with B2B related insights
  • Track all your activities in our CRM system on a daily base

You bring: 

  • At least 3-5+ years of direct sales experience in strategic & complex multi-stakeholder deals within Universities.
  • Experience in meeting and selling to Dean and Vice Dean C-level contacts within a University
  • Knowledge of the medical university market, medical teaching market, or experience in selling Healthcare IT solutions is desirable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential
  • Confident and able to deal with customers at all levels, and to demonstrate/present the value of the solution to a diverse target audience and articulate how these benefit to a healthcare provider(s) and its users
  • Proven ability to build, develop and maintain a wide number of business relationships 
  • Commercially aware and with strong business acumen
  • Independent, highly motivated with the ability to work autonomously, managing and prioritizing activities to meet prospect needs as well AMBOSS sales targets
  • English and local language. Excellent IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as a general understanding of CRM systems.
  • Willing and able to travel within the territory (up to 60%)

Join us in driving growth across Southeast Asia, one of Asia's most promising markets. As Partnerships Manager, you'll be on the ground in key countries where we already have a presence and can accelerate growth through in-person initiatives and strategic partnerships. You'll work with our B2B team to expand campus licenses, attend conferences to boost brand awareness, and foster connections in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, and the Philippines. Reporting to the Asia & Oceania PM, this role offers flexible travel opportunities and collaboration across regional teams, helping to shape AMBOSS’s success in Southeast Asia.

You will:

  • Take over responsibility of existing partnerships 
  • Set up and negotiate new partnerships based on insights from the market lead and market analyses

  • Represent AMBOSS at key events and congresses, give presentations and workshops

  • Du hast 3–5 Jahre Erfahrung im Vertrieb komplexer SaaS Produkte an C-Level-Stakeholderinnen und Stakeholder.
