About the Role

As an experienced Billing Coordinator for pharmacy accounts, you will be working in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment where you will be relied on for your expertise, professionalism, and collaboration. This role will greatly emphasize customer relations- you must be comfortable interacting, communicating, and working directly with patients and pharmacy staff.

Pay range for this position: $20.00 - $26.00 depending on years of experience

Responsibilities

    • Daily communication with the pharmacy regarding patient demographic details and prescription orders
    • Work in conjunction with pharmacy to invoice patients and daily reconciliation of prescriptions
    • Entry of billable items into the practice management system
    • Handle patient intake phone calls and email inquiries, review light clinical information, and review in-network insurance information with the patient
    • Verify patient eligibility and benefits and provide details 
    • Review of orders with patients to include employer benefit coverage and out-of-pocket responsibilities
    • Respond to and complete internal communication flags of patients needing to be contacted or problems that need to be resolved.
    • Answer any incoming patient emails on financial matters, triaging any non-financial needs or questions
    • Maintains current knowledge in pharmacy billing requirements related to employer/third-party 
    • Effective communication abilities for phone contacts with insurance payers to resolve issues
    • Customer service skills for interacting with patients regarding medical claims and payments
    • Research and resolve any discrepancies, denials, appeals, collections
    • Set up patient payment plans and work collection accounts
    • Review patient bills for accuracy and completeness and obtain any missing information
    • Process claims and post payments.
    • Process insurance payments, including balance billing to secondary insurance and/or directly to patients.
    • Ensure timely follow-up on all unpaid claims utilizing monthly aging reports
    • Analyze rejected and outstanding claims, troubleshoot errors and rejection codes, and correct and re-submit all denied claims.
    • Properly note the system and maintain all documentation required for compliant claim submission.
    • Prepare and process refund requests.
    • Verify and post patient amounts.
    • Respond to a high volume of telephone inquiries in a positive and professional manner, and resolve and follow up on all issues within designated timeframes.
    • Meet positional metrics and benchmarks.
    • Maintain the highest degree of ethics when handling patient payments and bill processing
    • Follow all department standard operating procedures carefully and accurately
    • Other duties as assigned by the Director.

     

    General Administrative Duties

About the Role

About the Role

About the Role

About the Role

Responsibilities:

  • Perform assisted reproductive technology methods including, but not limited to, semen preparation, oocyte identification conventional IVF, ICSI, embryo culture and grading, laser assisted hatching, trophectoderm biopsy, sperm, oocyte and embryo cryopreservation (vitrification).
  • Maintain accurate laboratory records
  • Perform quality control procedures and monitor KPIs
  • Participate in the laboratory’s quality management program
  • Coordinate with reproductive endocrinologists and OB/GYNs to assist their patients with reproductive health issues and clinical research. 
  • Educate patients on infertility evaluations, medications, treatment protocols and procedures

  • Ensure all patient information is documented appropriately in our EMR according to our procedures

About the Role

As an experiencedNurse Triage Managerreporting to ourDirector of Clinical Services,you will be working in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment where you will be relied on for your expertise, professionalism, and collaboration. This role is afull-time remote position.

Nursing Support Responsibilities:

About the Role

As an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager reporting to our Associate Director of Accounts Receivables, you will be working in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment where you will be relied on for your expertise, professionalism, and collaboration. This role is a full-time, remote position and equipment and training are included.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, manage, train, and motivate the Accounts Receivable team members to meet Goals and Key Performance Indicators as outlined in Kindbody’s Accounts Receivable standard operating procedures
  • Provide resources and tools to employees under supervision to complete assigned work efficiently and correctly
  • Ensure timely follow up and resolution of unpaid insurance and patient AR balances utilizing the practice management system reports and worksheets
  • Properly and clearly notate the practice management system and worksheets to ensure that the status of unpaid claim and denied claims and resolution can be tracked
  • Write off insurance balances for unpaid and denied in accordance with contractual agreements
  • Send unpaid patient account balances to outside collection agencies and write off balances in accordance with Kindbody’s accounts receivable standard operation procedures 
  • Monitor payment trend and denial trends by the payers and patients and help identify the root cause issues of the issue
  • Participate in development and deployment of tactics to improve insurance and Patient AR collections
  • Work with other departments within the organization to prevent future denials, claim rejections, and improve insurance and patient collections
  • Report payer issues to leadership and assist in the development of strategies and tactics to address and resolve
  • Track unit Key Performance Indicators and assess the staff’s performance monthly, quarterly, and annually to identify trends and develop tactics to improve revenue cycle metrics
  • Maintain appropriate documentation and notes of the team's accounts receivable activities
  • Respond to a high volume of inquiries in a positive and professional manner, resolve and follow up on all issues within designated timeframes.
  • Meet with the Director, Associate Director, or VP of RCM to provide updates and report issues
  • Meet with the staff to provide continuous process improvement and training and to update them on performance
  • Conduct performance evaluations with Associate Director/Director
  • Interview candidates for the accounts receivable positions
  • Meet positional metrics and benchmarks
  • Maintain the highest degree of ethics when handling patient payments and bill processing
  • Follow all department standard operating procedures carefully and accurately

Who you are

  • Bachelor’s Degree  or 5+ years of healthcare billing experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
  • 3+ years experience in managing staff

About the Role

As an experienced Reimbursement Specialist, you will be working in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment where you will be relied on for your expertise, professionalism, and collaboration.   • Review third party and medical expenses submitted for reimbursement and determine their eligibility for reimbursement
  • Refine the reimbursement processes/standard operating procedures as needed to increase efficiency and to meet client service level agreements 
  • Subject matter expert for Kindbody Enterprise benefits, specifically coverage for third party services and understand the policy variations across all Enterprise clients
  • Ensure timeliness of reimbursement and payroll reimbursement processes 
  • Coordinate with Kindbody billing teams for invoicing of reimbursable services
  • Complete payroll reimbursement reporting
  • Conduct eligibility verification for all Kindbody enterprise members
  • Review and understand employer contracts and benefits
  • Manage and respond to a high volume of inquiries in a positive and professional manner, resolve and follow up on all issues within designated timeframes. 
  • Meet positional metrics and benchmarks 
  • Follow all department standard operating procedures carefully and accurately

About the Role

As a member of the Enterprise Operations team, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and scaling the on-going day-to-day management and maintenance of Kindbody’s Employer Benefit Products. Responsibilities

  • Responsible for liaising with internal tech teams in creating, refining and maintaining data specification files, including the eligibility file specifications and other specifications as required from time to time; own post launch maintenance of all data files 
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for the data file specification discussion with external partners and clients as needed 
  • Manage eligibility / utilization reporting and triage any reporting discrepancies with internal teams; resolve file and data issues and create/refine protocols to prevent future issues 
  • Liaise with the Business Intelligence team to create reporting / dashboards for enterprise clients and enterprise operations; lead efforts with Client Management in creating standardized and custom reports  
  • Collaborate cross functionally to ensure all work streams related to operationalizing Kindbody’s benefit products are accurate, compliant, and delivered with the highest quality

About the Role

As an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be working in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment where you will be relied on for your expertise, professionalism, and collaboration.   • Set up patient payment plans and work collection accounts

About the Role

About the Role

About the Role

As an experienced Corporate Controller reporting to our Chief Accounting Officer, you will be working in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment where you will be relied on for your expertise, professionalism, and collaboration. This role is a Full-time, remote position.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of financial reporting and the monthly close process with full responsibility for timeliness and accuracy
  • Supervise an accounting team of 6, guiding all financial operations, accounting and reporting
  • Design, implement and maintain effective internal controls
  • Identify and remediate internal control weaknesses
  • Maintain full compliance with all US GAAP and reporting guidance, including implementation of any applicable new guidance or standards
  • Direct responsibility for accounting for complex accounting and disclosure areas, such as revenue recognition, reserves, certain accruals, segment and other disclosures
  • Manage external audit process
  • Prepare timely and accurate analyses of month-end and year-end financial reports for the executive team
  • Manage daily cash flow; prepare cash-flow reports and project cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals,
  • Monitor banking activities; Manage and reconcile all bank accounts
  • Manage all aspects of tax compliance with external tax advisors
  • Work closely with FP&A team on various reports and analyses as needed
  • Assist departmental management, legal staff, and others reviewing and approving contracts
  • Conducts self in accordance with Kindbody’s team member Handbook
  • Maintains strictest confidentiality, adhering to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations

Who You Are

  • Undergraduate degree in accounting/finance, Masters degree preferred, CPA required
  • Minimum 5 years of management experience
  • Experience with a Public Company required
  • Healthcare industry knowledge and public company experience
  • Preferred industry specific knowledge includes:
    • Medical billing/collection practices
    • Basic medical coding and third-party operating procedures and practices, as well as Insurance Companies Rules and Regulations
    • Appropriate methods of setting up corporations and assessing management fee structures for medical clinics in a private equity environment
  • Must be well-organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple concurrent priorities and objectives
  • Highly ethical, hard-working, goal and deadline oriented
  • Knowledge of Organizational development, human resources, and program operations preferred

Pay range for this position: $185,000.00 - $225,000.00 depending on education and years of experience.

About the Role

As an experienced  Financial Specialist, Kindlabs you will be working in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment where you will be relied on for your expertise, professionalism, and collaboration. Responsibilities

  • Billing and collecting for Kindlabs
  • Support all strategic business lines (as needed)
  • Provides invoices for patients upon request
  • Communicate with patients via phone and electronic medical record portal (EMRP)
  • Verify and update billing information, including patient demographics, insurance details, and tissue storage charges.
  • Review medical records and documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness of billing information.
  • Utilize billing software or systems to generate invoices and maintain accurate records of billing transactions.
  • Communicate with patients and insurance companies to resolve billing inquiries, disputes, or discrepancies.
  • Follow up on outstanding or delinquent payments and initiate collection procedures when necessary.
  • Stay updated on relevant coding and billing regulations, including CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes.
  • Collaborate with other members of the billing and finance team to ensure smooth operations and timely billing processes.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines when handling sensitive patient information.
  • Assist in financial reporting and analysis related to tissue storage billing activities.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and changes in healthcare reimbursement policies.
  • Maintains consents and EMR documentation
  • Works effectively with clinic staff to maintain good clinic relations and a cooperative work environment.
  • Sends patients relevant consents via Docusign (as needed)
  • Create and maintain accurate documentation of processes
