Requirements:

        •  5+ years of hands-on professional experience in software engineering, building production-grade deep learning solutions.
        •  An academic degree in computer science, data science, or a related degree. M.Sc. or Ph.D. degree is strongly preferred.
        •  Demonstrated expertise in model tuning frameworks like Axolotl.
        •   Familiarity with model serving frameworks, including vLLM, TGI, and llama-cpp, to support the deployment and scalability of machine learning models.
        •  Knowledge of model quantization techniques and frameworks to optimize AI models for performance in resource-constrained environments.
        •  Hands-on experience with Transformer architectures and proficiency in machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch.

The Senior Director, CRM is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve our customer communications. This is done by enabling scalable lifecycle campaigns to ensure customers have a great onboarding and active customer experience. The foundation of success will be measuring the effectiveness of this work on the customer journey and building a messaging platform capable of scaling with the growth potential of the business.

This person will lead all aspects of the company’s CRM efforts, not limited to: Email, SMS, push notifications, in-app content & content development. They will also lead development of the staff, processes, and systems necessary to establish a world-class CRM team. This role will integrate with a large cross-functional group to ensure that Hims and Hers CRM growth is accelerating as we continue to evolve as a business, with success expected across the entire customer lifecycle.

You Will:

  • Develop and maintain best-in-class CRM strategy for Hims and Hers product categories that result in strong acquisition and retention metric improvements
  • Manage the CRM team, which includes strategists, managers and directors dedicated to CRM campaign management and technical operations
  • Foster development for all team members and ensure a healthy work environment for all team members
  • Build quarterly road maps of projects to complete to drive channel growth and to support product launches
  • Lead team meetings and ensure all team members are evaluating performance trends and prioritizing the most impactful initiatives
  • Foster collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams that integrate with CRM growth strategy - category growth, analytics, legal, product & telemedicine
  • Interpret key performance metrics, identify trends, and prioritize opportunities for operating income growth through enhancements to customer onboarding, active customer touchpoints & retention strategies
  • Report growth results on a regular basis to the broader growth marketing team, using insights to continually optimize performance and identify growth opportunities
  • Stay abreast of changes in CRM technology, identify best practices, and bring new opportunities and ideas to fruition
  • Identify opportunities for automation leveraging internal/external tools. Act as strategic lead for the integration of AI / ML into CRM strategy
  • Work cross-functionally with Growth, Product, Operations, Business Development and Medical teams to increase site traffic and drive conversion

You Have:

  • 12+ years of hands-on experience managing CRM strategy + lifecycle marketing
  • Experience with various CRM platforms / technology. Braze experience is a plus
  • Proven track record of driving measurable revenue and retention improvements
  • Strong quantitative analysis skills, an affinity for numbers, and the ability to process complex calculations quickly and accurately
  • Functional knowledge of marketing technology and experience with integrating automation in collaboration with product and engineering teams
  • Exceptional customer insights and proven success utilizing analytics to provide strategic recommendations and drive concrete action
  • Strong written communication and presentation skills
  • Self-starter, strong organizational skills, ownership mentality and the ability to prioritize work

The Data Engineering team has a critical mission to equip all Grammarlians with the data and tools they need to build analytical products and make decisions. To deal with the massive scale of data, our team employs software design principles to keep our data healthy and freely flowing. 

In this role, you will:  

  • Build Data Pipelines and Infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading data from a wide variety of sources.
  • Design & improve data models, storage structures, and tools for easy data discovery, increased visibility, and accessibility to enable rapid development of Analytics Dashboards and ML experiments.
  • Work closely with ML and Analytics teams to streamline & optimize data delivery and processing and help land business-critical projects.
  • Address data latency and scalability issues and ensure frequent and reliable data refresh for downstream processes.
  • Model structure, storage, and access of data at very high volumes for our data lakehouse.
  • Improve developer productivity and self-serve solutions by contributing components to our stream data processing framework(s).
  • Own data engineering's infrastructure-as-code for provisioning services that allow our engineers to deploy mature software installations within a few hours.

As a Lead Machine Learning Engineer of the Growth org, you will transform how ML is applied to solve Growth problems. Your work will directly impact the topline KPIs that Growth team contributes to the overall business. You will lead research and exploration and help establish a robust ML development process for the organization. This is a high-impact role with a direct line of the channel with the area leads and the senior leadership team.

 In this role, you will:

  • Drive business impact by building scalable end-to-end machine learning solutions for challenging marketing problems.
  • Help Growth EPD and Marketing teams make data-driven decisions.
  • Your work will help drive multiple topline KPIs - LTV/CAC, number of activated and retained users, bookings revenue, etc.
  • Promote excellence and best practices across the machine learning team in research, implementation, tooling, and system design.
  • Work cross-functionally with various teams, including Marketing, Marketing Analytics, Data Science, ML Infrastructure, and Product. 
  • Effectively communicate technical machine learning results in a business context where most people are not machine learning experts.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

We are building the next billion-dollar business in enterprise SAAS. We have an amazing team, with experts in product, engineering, data science, and machine learning. Our team is now 30+ people strong, and we have paying customers today with expectations to continue growing quickly.

A core part of our product is the data pipeline that converts invoice PDFs into clean, mapped vendor spend data.

After we ingest PDFs from clients, we use an ensemble of models (ML and LLM) to automatically extract and map relevant data from invoices. Our Human Oversight team identifies and addresses errors that the models make. The modifications that the Human Oversight team makes within the data pipeline are used to help retrain and improve the quality of our models.

Once the data is mapped to our canonical taxonomy, we have a clean digital invoice-based data asset. We generate insights using this data asset, surfacing line-item level insights to our clients via our web app. From our web app, we have the Human Oversight team audit the data that we have surfaced to our clients.

Your role will be critical to generating this intelligence for our clients. Without excellent, highly accurate data extraction, we will not be able to provide the quality intelligence we want to our clients.
