What does this role entail?

  • Meeting or surpassing sales/revenue targets by acquiring new clients to support the company's overall growth objectives.
  • Working across a greenfield territory with the opportunity to work across and contribute to enterprise sales motions on a global scale 
  • Managing of the entire sales cycle, including lead generation, qualification, and overall pipeline management and development.
  • Collaborating with our Demand Generation and Marketing teams on creating and implementing a structured prospecting plan aimed at mid-large companies across various industries. This involves selling software solutions and consulting services to C-level executives, management teams, and end users.
  • Establishing effective relationships with key decision makers within customer or prospect organizations to sell them the best products and services to address their needs and enhance cost efficiency.
  • Negotiating legal and financial agreements, such as NDA's and MSA's.
  • Cultivating and managing strategic relationships with operational and executive staff or prospects to ensure the highest levels of operational efficiency.
  • Leveraging existing relationships within partner organizations to establish deep and trusted advisory relationships and generate new deal leads.

  • 6+ years of experience with proven success in software sales to the financial services industry
  • Experience selling to banking customers across the DACH region, specifically;
      • Commerzbank, Deutsche Bank, UniCredit, DZ Bank, KfW, Erste Group, Raiffeisenbank International.
  • Strong sales experience working with complex customers and segments of their business, across all levels if stakeholders, include C-level executives

This role reports to the Head of Corporate Sales, Books.

What you will be doing:

  • Develop solutions with Authors to create value propositions that will take content into a training, consultancy, and in some cases R&D and marketing settings, using a range of product offers, including bulk-buy, digital product, discount codes and custom formats
  • Account management of a defined group of specialists, typically in resale and training, but also associations and charities, who can supply out content to the Teacher Education Market.  You will develop and curate offers to Key Accounts that connect our collections, and in some cases Authors, to stimulate revenue and build valuable long-term sales relationships
  • You will work closely with colleagues in the UK and regional locations, sharing sales data, case studies and seek to develop expertise across a range of sectors in your defined subject/ list areas both on your own and in collaboration with your team members.
  • You will demonstrate initiative and a willingness to experiment, seeking out and identifying new business opportunities independent of Authors and Key Accounts based on your own market research.  Further you will develop a strong and open working relationship with other sales channels in Taylor & Francis and the wider Informa Group to create supply opportunities.
  • Review and analyse sales data to develop a comprehensive and dynamic sales strategy that you will be accountable to deliver
  • You will develop tactics to increase sales across customer categories consisting of specialist resellers and organisations focused on training, all of whom are active in the Teacher Education and Special Education Needs market.
  • You will develop marketing insights through your contact with content creators, intermediaries and end users, and share this with editorial and marketing.
  • We are looking for someone who can innovate and experiment with a range of products and content consumers, developing programmes of market outreach that adds value to the list and contributes to the team’s ability to work in professional markets.

Overview

About the Role- As Instacart continues its rapid expansion, we are looking to add an additional Sales Executive. This Sales Executive will be responsible for managing a book of business of non endemic brands looking to utilize Instacart's valuable audience. Sales Executives act as the main point of contact for their assigned brands and own all aspects of the advertising relationship.

About the Team- In this new role, this individual is responsible for managing Instacart’s relationships with non endemic brands both on and off platform The team’s remit is to act as strategic consultants to accelerate the revenue growth of brands on Instacart. The team works closely with internal cross-functional teams from product, comms, marketing, insights, and analytics to drive value and excitement with our partners.

About the Job 

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with non endemic advertisers, managing all aspects of the sales cycle for a book of business between 5-10 accounts
  • Selling with thought leadership & consultative sales skills across the prioritized client base
  • Leading monthly, quarterly, and annual planning and budgeting process across their client portfolio
  • Analyzing and applying business insights in a way that influences clients’ investment decisions 
  • Independently identifies and builds relationships with executive contacts within the client book of business, by expanding contact to new client teams & senior stakeholders
  • Forecasting the allocated book of business for quarterly & annualized growth
  • Maintaining a high daily volume of activity including outbound calls, emails, and social selling in a transactional environment

About You

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of experience in a sales environment
  • 2+ year of experience in digital advertising 
  • Experience in managing client relationships, and partnering to drive measurable growth 
  • Ability to work in a fast-moving environment and juggle multiple priorities and projects 
  • Comfortable analyzing and speaking to on and off platform opportunities and advertising insights and KPIs
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills

As we continue growing, we are looking to add to our Brand Partnerships team within the Business Development group. We are hiring a Sales Executive to add to a strategic team of sellers serving one of our largest CPG partners to grow their business via our advertising and commercial solutions.

Our Strategic Sales team works with our largest CPG brands. This role is specifically on one of our highest profile CPG accounts.

About the Job 

  • Deliver on team account sales and net margin targets 
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to expand account partnership, such as those in eCommerce, Agency, Media, Sales, Shopper, Marketing/Brand teams, and more
  • Earn trusted partner status by understanding & growing their business, solution selling and influencing partnership expansion
  • Create data driven sales collateral, case studies, and custom ‘stories’ to translate benefits of Instacart’s platform to CPG advertisers business needs
  • Lead annual planning and budgeting process with Fortune 500 accounts
  • Create data-backed proposals for up to multi-million dollar contracts for digital advertising
  • Partner with Internal teams such as Account Management, Insights, Analytics, Measurement, Product and Engineering to shape the future of our monetization strategy 
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Yield teams to design and sell bespoke campaigns against key advertiser occasions

About You

Minimum Qualifications

  • A solid understanding of the CPG environment either through direct sales and/or brand experience or similar exposure (ie. engaging with stakeholders across eCommerce, Media, Agency, Commercial/Sales and Marketing/Brand teams)
  • Sales experience in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Demonstrate skills and dependability of a top performer with an owner’s mindset
  • Collaborative, adored team player
  • Experience presenting to potential and current clients
  • High attention to detail with strong execution skills
  • Familiarity with the tools of the trade (eg. Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Google for Business/Drive Suite, Salesforce, Zoom, Teams)
  • Experience with large data sets and ability to extract business insights from analysis (Experience in Tableau, Mode preferred)
  • Client presence and persuasiveness

Role Overview

CarGurus is seeking an experienced sales professional to join our National Accounts sales team. The National Sales Executive is an individual contributor, responsible for managing the overall relationship with some of our largest and most strategic customers. This individual will be responsible for reviewing current performance reports, upselling new offerings, renewing existing programs, and identifying additional business opportunities within these complex entities. The candidate must exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills, be able to work both independently and collaboratively with other team members in a remote environment, and have a strong on-site customer presentation presence.

The National Sales Executivewill seek to build and expand relationships with National Account corporate entities and both regional and store management. The primary responsibility will be to represent CarGurus in an assigned set of national accounts, expand CarGurus paying customer base within that assigned group, review on-line business practices, and consult with corporate and dealership management staff. This individual will work closely with the entire National Accounts team as well as cross-functionally with our product and advertising teams to develop and refine necessary product offerings.

What you'll do

  • Achieve quarterly and annual quota targets while developing and growing assigned book of business
  • Create and manage relationships with assigned National Accounts by demonstrating value as a digital marketing strategy consultant
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by responding quickly and accurately to dealer concerns and needs and following through on prompt resolution
  • Provide in-depth analyses and reports regarding activities and dealership progress in conjunction with your Account Manager monthly, as well as through quarterly client reviews
  • Provide written and verbal feedback to the product and operational teams on new product ideas and/or suggested modifications to existing products
  • Collaborate internally with various operational teammates to maximize client retention and relationship growth efforts

What you'll bring

  • 5+ years of direct business-to-business sales experience
  • Technology/Automotive/Digital Marketing sales experience preferred
  • Willingness and ability to travel when needed to target account dealerships
  • Strong business consulting, analysis and reporting skills
  • Ability to work independently from a remote/home office
  • Driven individual with a high level of professionalism and problem-solving skills
  • Highest ethical standards
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal. Must be able to communicate clearly and efficiently

The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. 
 
Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and in addition to benefits this role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
