We are seeking a Xenium Sales Specialist, New England, for a field sales-based position responsible for the sale of our in-situ platform and reagents. The Xenium Sales Specialist will have strong technical knowledge in the spatial field and will demonstrate technical credibility to effectively consult with customers to influence key decisions on technology and product choices.   • Utilizes product and application knowledge across the in situ portfolio to successfully conduct selling presentations and close instrument and reagent sales
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the other members of the field organization. 
  • Work with distributors to drive the Xenium technology (as needed) inclusive of training and joint travel days. 
  • Represent the company professionally, ethically, and morally at all times.

 

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or related field; or the equivalent knowledge and experience.
  • Minimum of 6 years sales experience in Life Science, with significant capital equipment experience.
  • Proven success in selling capital equipment
  • Ability to travel as needed to be successful in this field-based role, expected to be at least 50% of the time within the territory
  • Territory includes: New England States

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • A Master’s or PhD degree is desirable.
  • Strong desire to win business and establish long term customer relationships.

About the role:

You’ll proactively manage the customer sales process for product lines, accounts and/or sales opportunities via phone and e-mail. Connecting with both prospective and existing customers, you’ll help guide them to our products that best meet their needs.

About the role:

As a Field Application Scientist you will be engaging with customers daily and delivering system usage trainings at customer sites, while providing experimental design, data analysis, logistical, and troubleshooting support across your region. Field Service Engineer, Japan

As part of the Instrument Services team, you will take ownership of cases assigned, driving & delivering high quality service resolution; provide timely onsite support to address service repair issues at customer sites according to contract prioritisation. Ensure the timely completion of all required service documentation. Follow up with customers regarding instrument performance post service intervention. Communicate proactively and share information with field team members, Service Operation team, Technical Service and Customer Service teams, in addition to other support functions to ensure the success of 10X Genomics.

You’ll actively contribute to the Service Knowledge Base and support increased utilisation of the knowledge management database. Provide feedback to the Field Service leadership regarding Field Service Engineer training and development needs. Recommend methods to improve field service efficiency and productivity working together with regional teams. Identify opportunities to improve overall service delivery processes, remote tools, support capabilities, and customer satisfaction.

As a Field Service Engineer you will perform assembly, disassembly, and repair work on analytical laboratory instruments and equipment. Effectively and safely utilise test equipment, hand tools and power tools when needed. 

You’ll be responsible for documentation as required by company policy, cGMP, ISO, Regulatory agencies etc. and serve as a regional subject matter expert when the Key Market Technical Engineer for the region is unavailable. 

Additionally, you’ll support the loading and updating of software, calibrations, preventive maintenance, and Pre-staging of new equipment. Monitor personal parts stock, test equipment and test tools inventory to ensure proper levels and current calibration certificates are readily available for typical servicing of instruments. Conduct advanced, complex service tasks and instrument configurations. 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Test, troubleshoot and repair analytical laboratory instruments to the Field Replaceable Unit (FRU) level
  • Analyse complex situations and apply independent judgment when accessing problems
  • Interpret past repairs on analytical laboratory instruments to resolve and diagnosis new highly complex issues
  • Assemble and disassemble analytical laboratory instruments
  • Support Pre-staging of instruments to ensure full functionality prior to Sales Inventory transfer
  • Perform advanced electronic, mechanical, pneumatic,liquid, gas, fluidics, and electrical repairs associated analytical laboratory instruments and equipment
  • Responsible for supporting upgrade release activities including calibration and configuration of analytical laboratory instruments
  • Monitor personal inventory levels to ensure adequate levels of parts and supplies are available on hand, if not place orders for supplies following company procedures

 Minimum Requirements:           

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering / Technology (or equivalent)
  • Multi-year experience in the service and repair of analytical laboratory instruments (including optics)
  • Demonstrated ability to operate without supervision and manage multiple priorities

10x Genomics is hiring a Remote Sales Executive, Greater Pacific Northwest / Mountain States

About the Role:

We are seeking a Sales Executive in the Greater Pacific Northwest / Mountain States, for a field sales-based position responsible for the territory sales plan. The Sales Executive will have strong technical knowledge in the area of Next Gen Sequencing and will demonstrate technical credibility to effectively consult with customers to influence key decisions on technology and product choices. Strong business acumen is required to build successful account and territory plans and translate territory strategy into business results. The ideal candidate will have a strong history of account relationships with key thought leaders in the Next Gen Sequencing space and experience calling on biotech accounts.

What you will be doing:

  • Demonstrate technical credibility to consult with customers on technology solutions.
  • Demonstrate funnel management skills with strong hunting/prospecting and closing
    skills.
  • Commit to rigorous territory planning, market knowledge, both accurate and timely
    forecasting.
  • Develop and manages to a business plan to meet or exceed business goals for the territory.
  • Understand scientific project needs and business needs of the customer to win the business.
  • Consistently and accurately manage sales process including sales forecasting, pipeline management, and sales tracking through the use of the CRM system and other designated IT tools.
  • Develop and maintains current knowledge of genetic analysis markets, products, and buying practices required to effectively compete in the assigned territory.
  • Utilizes product and application knowledge across the genetic analysis portfolio to successfully conduct selling presentations.
  • Assist in the identification and recruitment of new salespeople as required.
  • Ensure that customers are fully satisfied.
  • Represent the company professionally, ethically, and morally at all times.

*Accounts will be focused on the biotech sector for this position

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or related field; or the equivalent knowledge and experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years sales experience in Life Science, with capital equipment experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of Next Gen Sequencing.
  • Ability to travel as needed to be successful in this field based role.

Preferred Skills:

  • A Master’s or PhD degree is desirable.
  • Strong desire to win business and establish long term customer relationships.

Below is the base pay range for this full time position.  The actual base pay will depend on several factors unique to each candidate, including one’s skills, qualifications, and experience.  At 10x, base pay is also just one component of the Company’s total compensation package.  This role is also eligible for 10x’s equity grants, its comprehensive health and retirement benefit programs, and its annual bonus program or sales incentive program.  Your 10x recruiter can share more about the Company’s total compensation package during the hiring process.
