We are looking for a Senior ServiceNow Administrator who has extensive experience in configuring, customizing, and maintaining ServiceNow applications and some experience and interest in development. Tanium is working on a new implementation of ServiceNow, you willbe responsible formanaging the ServiceNow platform, ensuring its availability, performance, and security once we go live. You will also work closely with business stakeholders, developers, technical architects, and business analysts to understand their requirements and provide solutions using ServiceNow best practices. Tanium and ServiceNow have recently partnered in pairing best in class automated endpoint management with the premier ITSM platform. This role willprovidea unique opportunity to not only administer a newly implemented platform but also have an impact on bolstering the Tanium/ServiceNow “Better together” story. 

What you'll do

• Administer and support the ServiceNow platform, including incident, problem, change, service catalog, asset, configuration, knowledge, and reporting. 
• Perform system upgrades, patching, testing, and troubleshooting. 
• Develop and maintain workflows, scripts, business rules, UI policies, UI actions, notifications, and integrations using ServiceNow APIs. 
• Implement and enforce role-based access control, data security, and compliance policies. 
• Create and maintain documentation, training materials, and user guides. 
• Provide technical guidance to other ServiceNow administrators and developers. 
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to deliver ServiceNow solutions that meet business needs and expectations of the stakeholders.

• Configure and manage a mobile app using Mobile Studio 
• Manage the CMDB (Configuration Management Database) to ensure accurate and up-to-date information about the IT infrastructure. 

We’re looking for someone with

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. 
• At least 5 years of experience as a ServiceNow administrator, preferably in a large and complex environment. 
• Certified ServiceNow System Administrator (CSA). 
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform, architecture, and functionality. 
• Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, JSON, REST, and SOAP. 
• Experience with ITIL processes and frameworks. 
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
• Experience in Agile methodology and tools, such as Scrum, Jira, etc.

What you’ll get

The annual base salary range for this full-time position is $90,000 to $270,000. This range is an estimate for what Tanium will pay a new hire. As a Web Analyst, you will be responsible for the collection, analysis, and interpretation of web data, and providing insights that will guide regional web strategies, enhance user experience, and optimize website performance.

This role is open to candidates residing in the US <and Canada> except the San Francisco Bay Area (125 mi. radius from 1 De Haro St, San Francisco) and NYC Metro Area (50 mi. radius from 131 W 55th St, New York).

In this role, you will be responsible for: 

• Analytics Implementation & Optimization: 
• Ensure accurate tracking, data collection, and consistency across the website by managing and optimizing web analytics and tag management solutions.
• Have an understanding of data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) in the collection and handling of web data.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: 
• Perform deep-dive analyses on web data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities. 
• Has experience with full-funnel metric assessments, standardizing UTMs, enablement, and campaign hierarchy.
• Comfortable pulling reports from multiple platforms. 
• Develop and present regular reports to stakeholders on website performance, highlighting key metrics, progress against goals, and recommendations for improvement.

• Able to set up dashboards on various platforms.
• Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): 
• Own the web experimentation roadmap partnering with Growth and Analytics on execution and analysis. 
• SEO & Content Strategy Support: 
• Collaborate with the SEO and content teams to provide insights that inform content strategies, keyword opportunities, and website optimizations to improve organic search rankings.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: 
• Share relevant insights with marketing, sales, product, and IT teams to ensure web analytics insights are integrated into broader business strategies and initiatives.
• Benchmarking and SoT: 
• Partner with Marketing Data Analytics to define web benchmarks, KPIs, metrics, and data source of truth (SoT) across regional websites and page or user groupings.
• Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles:

Minimum requirements for the role:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or another STEM field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a web analytics role, with a proven track record of leveraging data to drive business decisions.
• Expertise in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics), tag management systems (e.g., Google Tag Manager, Tealium), and SEO tools.
• Strong analytical skills:
• Familiarity with statistical analysis and A/B testing.
• Experience with data visualization.
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and BI tools for advanced data analysis.
• General understanding of digital marketing principles, web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), and UX/UI principles.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
• Certifications in Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar platforms are highly desirable.
• Candidates should be located in the US or Canada.

An ideal candidate also has:

• Experience with Salesforce, SQL, Tableau, Contentsquare, and Mixpanel.
• Global analytics experience.
