DESCRIPTION

Aetion’s Accounts Payable Associate is a proactive and action-oriented individual who supports a high performing finance team across a variety of functions, primarily accounts payable, receivable, and payroll processing. This position involves a keen understanding of Aetion’s business and will be involved in various accounting and financial activities while working as part of the Accounting team. This position will be at the forefront of contributing to the financial strength of our fast paced and growing organization. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

The following duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage and all vendor bills and invoices to ensure proper General Ledger and department coding in NetSuite
  • Maintain company credit card program to ensure compliance with company policy and timely reporting
  • Process vendor invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with agreements and policies
  • Review and verify payment requests to ensure that proper documentation is in place and that approval processes are followed
  • Communicate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders regarding payment status and discrepancies
  • Prepare and process payments owed through appropriate payment methods
  • Manage T&E process including report submission, review and policy compliance
  • Month-end close responsibilities include recording journal entries, reconciling accounts and analytical review in compliance with US GAAP on a timely basis
  • Participation in year-end audit process, including workpaper creation, review and interaction with auditing firm
  • Participation in tax return, tax provision and tax audit processes at federal, state and local levels, including sales tax
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the accounts payable function. Take part in creating, enforcing company policies and procedures.
  • Assist in preparing reports and analyses related to accounts payable metrics
  • Support international accounting processes and personnel
  • Treasury support – initiating wires, ACH payments; recording payments and cash receipts in ledger system accurately and timely

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • B.S./B.A. degree in Accounting, Business or Finance
  • 1+ year of experience in an accounting environment 
  • 1+ year working with Excel including advanced features (Pivot Tables, V-Look ups, SumIfs etc.)

Preferred

  • Strong ability to self-motivate and manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly detail oriented, and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external customers to maximize performance, creativity, and problem solving

DESCRIPTION:

Aetion’s Revenue Analyst will support a high performing finance team across a variety of functions. This position involves a keen understanding of Aetion’s business and will be involved in various accounting and financial activities while working as part of the Accounting team.   • Monthly close of revenue according to US GAAP 
  • Analyze and forecast revenue across all end markets and customers to provide comprehensive picture of Aetion’s top-line financial health

  • Implement processes and tools to improve revenue analysis and forecasting over time
  • Assist in month-end and quarter-end close processes with a focus on revenue recognition and reconciliation

  • Support scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to anticipate changes in Aetion’s business
  • Partner with Client Partners teams to ensure that pricing strategies align with revenue and ACV goals

  • Determine commissions according to the company sales incentive plan
  • Provide insights on revenue and profitability across customers, products, channel, etc.
  • Support Commercial Operations in KPI and other reporting as needed
  • Facilitate subsequent evolution and maturity of revenue modeling within Workday Adaptive
  • Develop and provide revenue reporting and analysis as needed.
  • Develop and maintain Dashboards for company wide publication

QUALIFICATIONS*

DESCRIPTION:

Aetion is seeking a skilled and adaptable Hybrid Event / Project Manager to join our team. This unique role combines the strategic oversight of corporate events with the structured execution of project management. During event seasons, the workload will primarily focus on event planning and execution, while during off-peak times, the role will shift toward supporting creative and marketing projects, including the production of marketing and sales collateral. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing both high-profile events and cross-functional projects from concept to completion.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of corporate events, including large-scale meetings, conferences, and internal workshops, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Description

In this role, you will own the end–to-end talent acquisition lifecycle. You will act as a strong recruiting partner for senior leaders in engineering, science, and corporate functions and provide a high level of customer service to both candidates and hiring managers.

Successful candidates will be hungry to learn about our scaling software & services business and to eagerly share our compelling vision with candidates.

Responsibilities

Sourcing & Screening :

  • Define sourcing plans and techniques (referrals, user groups, niche networks, etc.) that align with team goals and position requirements.
  • Attract candidates through creative sourcing and outreach methods including LinkedIn Recruiter, external job boards, internal and external databases, and building a vast referral network within industry organizations. 
  • Engage with candidates, help them understand Aetion’s trajectory and mission. 
  • Manage relationships with any external staffing agencies including contract negotiations, candidate quality, pipeline assessments, lead check-in meetings, etc.
  • Qualify prospective candidates via resume review, phone screens and in-person interviews to assess skills and determine potential job matches.

  • Manage the end-to-end recruiting process for your roles independently, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience

Recruiting Partner

QUALIFICATIONS*

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in  Human Resources, Communications, Marketing, or other related field - Life Science or Engineering education backgrounds are also welcome.
  • 5+ years of experience as a recruiter, in-house or in staffing agency, ideally for a scaling software or services organization. 
  • 3+ years recruiting technical and engineering talent (including software engineers)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of sourcing high quality talent and leveraging innovative sourcing tools and technology (i.e. Seekout, LinkedIn Recruiter, Hireflow).

DESCRIPTION:

The Senior Vice President of Commercial Partnerships will drive strategic alliances to expand Aetion's reach and amplify the impact of its real-world evidence products and regulatory consulting services. This role builds and nurtures commercial and channel partnerships to accelerate Aetion's growth by establishing new distribution channels.

This role will develop sell-with/sell-through partnerships and ensure their activation within Aetion's sales process in collaboration with the SVP of Sales. The remit includes the responsibility to identify, attract, contract, and activate channel partners to support Aetion's software, service, and data sales. 

The SVP will also work closely with the Chief Data Officer whose remit it is to identify, attract, contract, and activate data partners to support Aetion's data-driven solutions. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute a partner ecosystem strategy to grow Aetion's market presence by forming strategic partnerships, developing innovative solutions, and creating new distribution channels.
  • Identify and engage with potential channel partners such as technology platforms and evidence solution providers to broaden Aetion's influence and market access. 
  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, product, success, and marketing) to ensure seamless integration of partner offerings.
  • Drive revenue growth through strategic alliances and partnerships that leverage Aetion's product portfolio (Aetion Discover, Substantiate, Generate) and science services.
  • Oversee the negotiation and execution of partnership agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Foster strong relationships with existing partners to maximize value and drive long-term success.

Span of Control

This role reports to Aetion’s President and works cross-functionally across teams. It will begin as an individual contributor and, as it scales, add resources. 

Direct reports will eventually include:

  • Channel Partner Sales Managers (ratio of sales managers to partners TBD)
  • Partner Solution Architect (supports API integrations, embedded solutions, etc.)

Performance Metrics

This role will be responsible for meeting or exceeding the following key performance indicators that align with our corporate goals.

QUALIFICATIONS*

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in partnership development within the healthcare or life sciences industry, preferably focusing on real-world data and evidence.

DESCRIPTION:

As the Vice President of Sales you will lead all Sales initiatives and grow engagement, revenue, and ROI throughout the company, with a core focus on new logo sales. The role provides day-to-day leadership and management and is responsible for driving our company to profitable revenue growth.

As a Scientific Analyst on Aetion’s Science team, you will contribute to client research studies using our Substantiate analytical software. You will partner with other epidemiologists on your project team to execute real-world data analytics and delivery study results.

As a Senior Scientist, you will apply epidemiological methods to deliver scientific studies (descriptive, comparative, effectiveness, adherence and others) using RWE to help our customers create impactful evidence.

We are seeking an experienced consultative sales professional to grow new business at Aetion. You will serve as their strategic business partner responsible for developing and expanding new business opportunities with the customer and prospects.
