About You:

  • Solid background in web development and system design.
  • Proven record of making key technical decisions and taking ownership of your work from start to finish.

The base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $165,000 annually, plus additional compensation and benefits. We are looking to bring on a QA Engineer I with experience in manual application testing. In this role, you’ll work with the QA team to plan and execute tests in a fast-paced, agile team. Familiarity with Python is a plus, but we trust that you’ll be motivated to dive in and get your hands on it once you join the team. What You'll Test:

Your work will have an immediate impact on millions of users — you will have the opportunity to work on different parts of the platform, including but not limited to payment gateways, live chats, and video streaming technology, which are supported across all major web browsers, mobile devices, smart TVs, and video consoles. You’ll also be assuring quality for the systems and services on the platform to enable broadcasters to interact with users in a fun and interactive environment. 

What You’ll be Doing:

  • Write test cases for manual testing, and test them with others on the QA team simultaneously
  • Review code changes to understand what needs to be tested
  • Be self-driven to pick up the skills necessary to keep up with technology changes
  • Identify opportunities for testing tools and implementing those ideas 

Skills You Need:

  • You are self-motivated to learn new technologies

We are hiring a 100% remote Senior Software Engineer with experience in Django to join our Core Pod to act as a strong senior presence and make decisions that drive wider improvements to our platform. This position will primarily focus on backend development tasks, but familiarity with front-end technologies is a plus. If you are passionate about Python and enhancing the development environment, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Backend development with Django and occasionally some frontend work with Typescript and Javascript
  • Work on upgrading and maintaining core components including Python, Django, Redis, Celery, and their usage.
  • Improve the development environment, advocate for security and coding best practices, and conduct thorough code reviews.
  • Help other engineering teams design new apps and components 
  • Research and integrate new technologies into the tech stack for continuous improvement
  • Optimize our Docker configuration for local and testing environments

Skills You Need:

  • You have a deep knowledge of programming fundamentals revolving around algorithms, data structures, design patterns, and paradigms
  • You’re highly experienced with Django and understand its inner workings
  • Proven experience in system design and a strong understanding of industry best practices
  • Strong DevOps knowledge, including proficiency in setting up and managing Linux servers
