As the Customer Success Consultant, your primary purpose is to ensure our customers get, and keep getting value from their investment in Phocas. You strive to retain our customers, turn them into advocates for Phocas and proactively identify opportunities for further revenue growth within our existing customer base.

Here’s how you’ll do that:

  • Proactively drive activities that increase brand awareness, product presence and user adoption. This could be through regular customer account reviews, product demonstration, customer training, events and other marketing activities
  • Provide exceptional service and support, and ensure the customer is gaining value from their investment through coaching, advice and training
  • Guiding clients through onboarding, issue resolution, and adoption phases with your fantastic communication and training abilities
  • Identify new business opportunities within the account for revenue growth
  • Collaborate with global colleagues to continuously improve products, internal processes and documentation as they relate to customer success

This is what you’ll need to do it:

  • A love of working with customers and developing long-term value
  • Excellent presentation, training and communication skills
  • You enjoy building rapport with your customers, and staying up to date with product enhancements and features
  • Financial planning, accounting, or financial modeling knowledge, as well as an understanding of ERPs is essential
  • Solid understanding of business needs and customer focus with a dedication to customer experience
  • Previous experience within a Customer Success role within SaaS

The Account Executivewill successfully prospect, create opportunities and work through a consultative sales process to close deals and develop long-term revenue streams around Phocas’ suite of products and solutions. What you’ll need to sell feel good

  • Strong needs analysis, positioning, business justification and closing skills
  • Experience of managing and closing concurrent, high-velocity sales-cycles
  • Track record of over-achieving quota in past positions
  • Experience working with CRM systems, such as Salesforce or HubSpot
  • Accounting/FP&A tech, BI and, or ERP solutions experience in the mid-market
  • Be a pro-active self-starter

What you’ll do to grow fast and have fun

  • Proactively engage prospective and existing customers through various channels such as email, phone and social media to achieve/exceed monthly sales quotas - You'll love getting out there, building relationships and building revenue
  • Identify prospects to build a sound pipeline of business opportunities, evaluating their pain/gain points, position in the industry, researching and analyzing sales options.
  • Articulating the value of Phocas’ solutions and applications, preparing and delivering customized demo/ presentations to key decision makers to get buy-in.
  • Accurately forecast sales activity and revenue achievement.
  • Understand industry segments served and keep abreast of development in the market and/or region.
  • Stay current with Phocas software, system information, new features/enhancements and product offerings.
  • Attend trade shows and other industry events to showcase Phocas products/ solutions.

  • Ensure smooth transitions from sales to software launch, making the customer journey as swift and delightful as possible.
  • Identify and analyse customer needs (outline scope, goals, deliverables and configuration/technical requirements) , and customise activation processes to meet those needs while maintaining quality and efficiency.
  • Extract data from customer systems using tools like MS SQL Server, Access, and more, ensuring everything is integrated smoothly into Phocas software.
  • Juggle multiple projects at once, delivering fast and flawless results for a variety of customers across industries.
  • Anticipate project risks, resolve challenges head-on, and escalate any issues when necessary.
  • Maintain detailed, accurate records using our project management tools, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.
  • Provide technical expertise and valuable insights to improve Phocas' processes and help customers achieve rapid ROI and adoption.

Phocas Software is hiring a Remote Partner Alliance Manager

Position Purpose

The Partner Alliance Manager (PAM) will focus on the acquisition and management of Referral and Reseller partners in their designated market/region, by creating and executing strategic partner business plans to drive new sales opportunities. The PAM role will drive the achievement of global company revenue goals and/or in their regional marketplace; based on the level of experience and knowledge, the position may require certain engagements, including co-selling with partners, business development and account management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively engage in the sales process and drive highly qualified opportunities to achieve revenue targets across assigned territory or named partners.
  • Establish and manage relationships with new and existing channel partners in order to create new opportunities for these partners and Phocas.
  • Proactively drive activities within channel partners that directly result in generation of pipeline and revenue.
  • Identify, recruit and onboard new channel partners; provide product and program training for channel partners through webinars and demonstrations of our product offerings.
  • Maintain and encourage effective working relationships across Phocas and partner teams to deliver a positive and mutually shared vision.

o Work with partners’ customer account managers to proactively identify opportunities for further growth and/or attrition risk for Phocas products within their customer base.

o Work with Marketing to develop plans that support the partner network and generate deal flow.

o Collaborate with Phocas Account Executives on closing new business generated through partnerships.

o Attend trade shows and other industry events to showcase Phocas products/ solutions

  • Regularly review and measure partners progress to ensure they remain profitable and communicate those reviews with partnership and company leaders; reviews may occur monthly and/or quarterly.
  • Provide regular reports on KPIs and/or partner strategy. Maintain accurate prospect, customer and pipeline records within our CRM systems.
  • Keep up to date and understand competitive products and pricing strategies to ensure Phocas retains and grow market share.
  • Stay current with Phocas software, system information, new features/enhancements and product offerings.
  • Minimum 5 years prior experience working in a Sales, Marketing or Account Management role, ideally with software-based solutions and B2B environment.
  • Previous experience of excelling in a channel /partner management role with accounting technology, system integrator and/or ERP partners.
  • Track record of over-achieving quota in past positions.
  • Experience of concurrently managing multiple partnerships.
  • Experience working with CRM systems, such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
  • Ability to travel 25-50% of the time (domestic & international travel).

Desirable requirements

  • Experience in business intelligence, accounting technology and ERP solutions.
  • Prior experience with HubSpot preferred.
  • Prior experience selling and/or working within our target markets, such as Manufacturing, Distribution, Retail, Services, etc.
  • Financial experience or exposure to, or knowledge of budgets, forecasts, and financial statements (financial planning and analysis)

Qualification/Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business/ Sales/ Marketing or equivalent. In lieu of education, equivalent experience required.
  • Previous Sales Methodology (SPIN, Challenger, Force, Meddic) training highly desired.

Compensation for the position depends on experience. A fully qualified candidate can expect a salary of between $100,000 and $115,000 with a commission plan
