        • Revenue Reconciliation Scalability & Accuracy: Given Kasa’s highly centralized accounting function, it’s critical to continually improve our revenue reconciliation and recognition processes to take advantage of automation.
        • Audit Improvements: Ensure accurate transient occupancy tax settings and reporting (working closely with other members of the finance team), while also ensuring that revenue practices are consistent with audit requirements from real estate partners and Kasa’s corporate auditor.
        • Cross-Functional Coordination: Help drive cross-functional accountability for reservation revenue accuracy, third-party channel payment accuracy and revenue recognition within the reservations and billing team.

        Required Attributes

        • Requirement: Familiarity with accrual accounting and occupancy/sales tax policies

        • Requirement: Intellectually curious, highly motivated, and able to maintain efficiency while working independently.
        • Requirement: Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with various stakeholders.
        • Nice to have: Hospitality revenue and/or accounting experience, especially within hotel management agreements and/or various real estate ownership structures.
