Hims & Hers is seeking an experienced Sr. Software Engineer to build and maintain the platform that reliably fulfills customer orders and prescriptions at scale. As a key member of the Fulfillment and Pharmacy Engineering Backend team, you will define, build, test, deploy, and support our self-service platform for Fulfillment Operations and Pharmacy teams.

You Will:

  • Design and build backend services that power our telehealth and ecommerce platforms
  • Collaborate with product managers, principal engineers and your team to guide decisions
  • Provide leadership and guidance to internal team members on the implementation of architecture and designs
  • Collaborate, lead and deliver cross-domain integration solutions with techniques such as REST and asynchronous design patterns
  • Own feature delivery from solution design to production operation
  • Implement observability, monitoring and alerting solutions
  • Contribute to operational excellence through on-call responsibilities which include issue resolution, root-cause analysis and code improvements to reduce toil
  • Coach and mentor team members, including constructive feedback for code and design reviews
  • Actively participate in retrospectives and help drive continuous improvement in our architecture, agile process and team culture
  • Cross functional team collaboration and communication including product and engineering leadership

You Have:

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
  • 5+ years experience as a software engineer including languages such as Java and Kotlin
  • 3+ years of experience with back end distributed system design, development and delivery, preferably in an eCommerce environment
  • 3+ years of experience with microservice architectures
  • Experience with Domain Driven Design
  • Experience with design, development, delivery and management of microservices hosted on Kubernetes and AWS
  • Experience with agile software development and delivery methodologies 
  • Proficiency with continuous integration/delivery including automated unit and integration test strategies
  • Proficiency with Relational Databases, PostgreSQL preferred 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The opportunity

As a Software Engineer, Infra you will be a key player in building and enhancing the reliability and observability of our services across the engineering organization. You will be part of a centralized team focused on improving incident management, introducing auto-scaling and resilience mechanisms, conducting chaos testing, and self-healing. Your work will be instrumental in establishing a center of excellence for reliability, establishing and evangelizing best practices, and developing tools to scale these practices across all engineering teams.

In this role, you will:

  • Use modern infrastructure management tools and services like AWS to build a massively scalable platform for Grammarly’s services.
  • Be an ambassador for Operational Excellence - building and continually improving incident management tooling and processes.
  • Implement proactive reliability improvements to reduce manual intervention and increase reliability. This includes automated deployment improvements, canary analysis, self-healing mechanisms, and autoscaling.
  • Manage cloud-native infrastructure solutions, such as cross-service infrastructure, Kubernetes clusters and deployments, auto-scaling tool sets, and service discovery.
  • Build solutions and frameworks to spin up, test, deploy, and observe Grammarly’s service reliability.
  • Participate in on-call incident response and escalation procedures.

Qualifications

  • Has a minimum of 7 years of experience managing live production SaaS environments with high load.
  • Is experienced in working on a centralized reliability or SRE team configuration.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-native infrastructure solutions such as container orchestration and service discovery in Kubernetes-based environments.
  • Background in software development or engineering roles with a focus on reliability.
  • Is knowledgeable on all things Reliability and how to scale those solutions across the engineering organization.

What you bring

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience;

    What You Will Do

    • Mentor and advise product development teams in the area of application security
    • Assist teams in reproducing, triaging, and addressing application security vulnerabilities
    • Assist in the implementation of security processes and automated tooling that prevent classes of security issues
    • Design and implement Typescript code libraries and patterns to improve application security
    • Perform security-focused code reviews
    • Work with infrastructure teams to ensure our systems are secure
    • Support the bug bounty program
    • Evaluate tools, from SAST/DAST to cloud security analysis tooling, among others
    • Lead application security reviews and threat modeling, including code review and dynamic testing
    • Help develop security training and socialize the material with product development teams

    What You Will Bring to the Table

    Experience it’s important for you to have at some level:

    • Software development experience, ideally with Javascript/Typescript, or another programming language such as Python or Ruby
    • Familiarity with secure coding practices
    • Familiarity with security tools and libraries such as static/dynamic analysis tools and penetration testing tools
    • Familiarity with and ability to explain common security flaws and ways to address them (e.g. OWASP Top 10)
    • Strong understanding and experience with common security libraries, security controls, and common security flaws

    Mirantis is looking for a visionary and experienced leader to drive the next phase of growth for Lens, the world's most popular Kubernetes IDE with over 1M users globally. You’ll be stepping into a high-impact role, leading the Lens business to scale to $50M in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR). Lens has grown rapidly, entirely through organic, product-led adoption, and now we need someone with the experience and strategic know-how to take us to the next level.

    As GM, you will not only drive business strategy but also take an active role in shaping product direction. Given Lens’s strong engineering team and visionary product thinkers, you’ll integrate deeply with the product development process, ensuring the product leadership, particularly in non-engineering aspects, evolves to support our growth. This is a hands-on role, requiring both strategic oversight and direct involvement in product management to maximize Lens’s product-led growth potential.

    You’ll work closely with the Lens founders and the engineering team to scale our business operations, develop a structured sales strategy, and formalize marketing efforts, all while keeping our strong, engineering-driven culture intact.

     

    Key Responsibilities

    • Strategic Growth & P&L Ownership: Drive the strategy to scale Lens to $50M ARR, focusing on customer acquisition, retention, expansion, and full P&L responsibility. Ensure revenue growth while managing costs and driving profitability.

    • Product & Go-To-Market Leadership: Take an active role in shaping product strategy, working with founders and engineering visionaries to ensure the product continues to evolve with user needs. Build and execute a formal go-to-market plan, establishing and leading both sales and marketing functions to drive user acquisition, enterprise sales, and overall growth.

    • Organizational Building: Transform Lens from an engineering-centric organization into a fully operational business. Build and lead the missing functions such as sales, marketing, product marketing, customer success, and developer relations while strengthening existing teams to support scalability and growth.

    • Team Leadership & Culture: Seamlessly integrate into the Lens team, working closely with the founders and product leadership. Build strong relationships, align with the engineering-driven culture, and ensure that everything we do reflects our mission of clarity and beauty.

    • Enterprise Development & Customer Relationships: Further develop relationships with enterprise customers, navigating global procurement processes to secure large deals. Build deeper relationships with our customer base, identifying ways to increase usage and value, especially within large enterprises.

    Qualifications

    • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in scaling a B2B SaaS business from $5M to $50M ARR, ideally in the developer tools, cloud, or Kubernetes ecosystem.

    • Product & Go-To-Market Leadership: Extensive experience in product management and go-to-market strategy, specifically in product-led growth (PLG) environments. Ability to work closely with engineering and product visionaries to shape a product that simplifies complexity and delights users.

    • Customer and Partnership Relations:  Extensive experience collaborating with enterprise customers, with a strong ability to build and nurture partnerships within the cloud-native ecosystem.  Actively engaged in community initiatives to foster collaboration and growth.

    • Enterprise Sales & Marketing: Strong background in building and leading sales and marketing functions, including experience with enterprise sales and navigating procurement processes.

    • Deep Knowledge of Kubernetes and Cloud-Native Technologies is a Strong Plus. Strong expertise in Kubernetes architecture and container orchestration, with extensive familiarity across public cloud platforms.  Proven experience in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines and a comprehensive understanding of the container ecosystem.

    • Organizational Leadership: Experience in building and scaling teams and functions such as sales, marketing, customer success, and developer relations in high-growth environments.

    • Collaborative Leadership Style: Ability to integrate deeply with a passionate, engineering-driven team, and work closely with founders and leadership to shape and execute the company vision.
