Qualifications

  • A University or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Logistics, Production Operations/Manufacturing Management, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent experience may also be considered.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the software, manufacturing, distribution, or accounting industryis preferred. Experience using and supporting any ERP (SAP, Oracle ERP, Ms Dynamics 365)or other business software applications is desired.

Project Delivery

  • Define, at an architectural and design level of detail, technical solutions aligned with our client’s business problems and ServiceNow Implementation Best Practices.

Qualifications

To be Successful in this role, you will need to have the following qualifications: 

  • At least 8 years of consultation and/or configuration experience implementing highly configurable technologies (ServiceNow, Salesforce, Pega, etc.) to automate processes in financial services, particularly banking operations (eg. card operations, transaction dispute management & resolution, credit processing, loan operations) and insurance operations (eg. claims processing, policy servicing). 
  • Experience in financial services consulting, digital transformation, or software implementation within the banking, investment, or insurance sectors. 
  • Familiarity with industry-leading software platforms such as ServiceNow, Oracle Financial Services, SAP, Pega, Salesforce Service Cloud, Temenos, or similar.

POSITION SUMMARY:

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
  • Adhere to the company’s core values, policies and operating procedures.
  • Assist in driving required changes to move away from manual to automated processes. 
  • Assist in monthly AP close process in collaboration with the Accounts Payable Supervisor and Manager. 
  • Process invoices accurately and timely within Basware and JDE systems. This includes, Compeat invoices for various entities.
  • Communicates timely and directly to vendors and operations staff by providing excellent customer service and proactively managing issue resolution. 
  • Weekly General Manager reporting of outstanding invoices from Basware.
  • Oversee Accounts Payable USPS mail processing which includes, daily review and scanning of applicable invoices to Basware, weekly check mailing, coordinating overnight deliveries and communication to vendors to encourage enrollment of electronic invoice submission.
  • Weekly vendor statement processing.
  • Back up to Film processing as needed.
  • Assist with annual 1099 processing.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • BS or BA preferred and/or 3-5 years Accounts Payable full-cycle high volume processing experience. 
  •  2 -3 years large ERP experience preferred (i.e., JD Edwards, NetSuite, Oracle).
  • Highly organized and a self-starter. Excellent team player. Focused yet flexible. Excellent judgment and strong attention to detail.
  • Exceptional customer service attitude with excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact professionally with management, peers and vendors.
  • Ability to evaluate and prioritize workload while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat.

About the role

As Flat6Labs ERP Systems Administrator, you will specialize in managing and integrating the Oracle NetSuite ERP system, with a primary focus on the finance module. Your role will include configuring, maintaining, and optimizing the ERP system to streamline financial operations. You will also be responsible for testing, and implementing new features, modules, and enhancements to the ERP system but also integrate the ERP system with various software tools like Bamboo and HubSpot.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the Oracle NetSuite ERP system, with a strong emphasis on the finance module, ensuring data accuracy and integrity in financial reporting and operations.
  • Configure, test, and implement new finance-related features, modules, and enhancements to improve financial workflows.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve finance module-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to financial processes.
  • Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement to enhance financial data reporting and reconciliation.
  • Collaborate with finance and cross-functional teams to understand their requirements and provide solutions to ensure data integration and process automation.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for finance processes, system configurations, procedures, and policies within the ERP system.
  • Train teams and stakeholders on system functionalities, ensuring they can efficiently utilize the ERP system.
  • Stay up to date with best practices in ERP integrations and industry trends.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy and security policies.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience as an ERP Administrator, focusing on finance module integration with Oracle NetSuite.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes and ERP integration, particularly in the finance and accounting modules.
  • Experience configuring, testing, and implementing finance modules in ERP systems.
  • Experience integrating ERP systems with other software tools like Bamboo and HubSpot
  • Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly with finance teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple finance-related projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Oracle NetSuite certification is a plus.
  • Familiarity with financial data privacy, security policies, and compliance regulations.
  • A corporate background is highly preferred

Job Description

The Functional Analyst position is a critical role within our organization, focused on delivering high-quality software support to our customers and partners. You will be directly interacting with QAD customers through telephone and internet-based platforms, addressing inquiries related to QAD products. In this role, you are tasked with analyzing problems within QAD’s software applications, providing expert solutions, and adhering to the company’s strict quality processes, standards, and toolsets.

As a Functional Analyst, your responsibilities include maintaining a detailed log of problems and the steps taken for analysis. This rigorous documentation is essential as it aids in the creation and review of reusable solutions, subsequently posted on QAD’s website for global use by customers and partners. You will be expected to handle moderately complex issues, using your demonstrated knowledge and problem-solving skills. Collaborating with the team lead, peers, and the global Support team is crucial to determine the most effective solutions and maintain a high-quality support experience.

Given that our support organization operates 24/7, this position demands a flexible approach to scheduling. You will be expected to participate in shift rotations, initially focused on the American time zones, along with weekend shifts and potential on-call coverage as required. These elements are vital to providing continuous support to our global customer base. Your willingness to adapt to these scheduling requirements is crucial for the role.

Note: The role will require the person to support in American shifts ( 10 pm IST to 7 am IST ) with weekend support when required.
 

DUTIES AND AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

Incident Handling: 

  • Address incoming software issues from customers and partners through telephone and CRM. 
  • Work on problems of moderate complexity, requiring analysis of various factors. This includes formulating and enhancing reusable solutions to new and unique issues using solution-centered support methodologies (Analyze, test, and solve problems).
  • Escalate issues as necessary, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Ensure that support incidents are resolved in line with established Service Level Agreements.

Documentation and Communication:

  • Document all analyses and correspondences meticulously throughout the issue resolution process. Provide proactive status updates to customers, maintaining transparency and trust.

Knowledge Base Maintenance:

  • Efficiently search and maintain the QAD Knowledgebase. Update it with solutions to customer issues, ensuring it remains a valuable resource for problem resolution.

Team Assistance:

  • Assist team members both locally and globally, fostering a collaborative work environment. This includes cross-team collaboration to enhance the overall effectiveness of our support services.

Continuous Learning and Adaptation:

  • Engage in ongoing learning and practice of existing product knowledge. This is vital to stay prepared and responsive to new and evolving issues in a dynamic technological environment.

Qualifications

  • A University or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Logistics, Production Operations/Manufacturing Management, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent experience may also be considered.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the software, manufacturing, distribution, or accounting industryis preferred. Experience using and supporting any ERP (SAP, Oracle ERP, Ms Dynamics 365)or other business software applications is desired.
  • Proven track record in a Customer Service/Support capacity.
  •  Essential debugging/troubleshooting skills, including proficiency in navigating Unix, Windows, Internet, and networks, are required. Additionally, programming knowledge for troubleshooting in languages such as C, C++, Unix, Progress, Oracle, SQL, Java, or XML is highly beneficial.
  •  Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential. This includes the ability to explain complex technical issues in a clear and understandable manner. Strong documentation skills, with the ability to accurately and effectively convey information in writing.
  • Demonstrated ability to continually learn and adapt to new products and technologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and robust analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capability to build productive working relationships both within the organization and with external clients.
  • Capable of adapting to rotating shift schedules if needed.
  • Fluency in multiple international languages is good to have.
  • Professional certification in a relevant specialty area (e.g., CPIM, CIRM) is good to have.
