Summary of Primary Responsibilities

  • Conduct security control assessments, managing the process from planning through to reporting, including, understanding controls in scope, gathering assets populations and selecting samples, planning the assessment, evaluating whether the controls are designed and working as intended, writing issues and communicating the issues, and reporting on the test results.
  • Develop test plans, test cases/steps, and procedures, using data from security tools to capture evidence.
  • Use queries and dashboards to identify potential control failures.
  • Ensure the accuracy and timely completion of control testing, providing peer review.
  • Document findings, including root cause analysis and recommendations for remediation.
  • Be the primary liaison with team members, delivering clear progress updates and results.

Qualifications

What your background is

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or a relevant field, or equivalent demonstrable experience.
  • 3+ years' experience performing IT Audit or security control testing.
  • 5+ years' of experience in Information Security or Information Technology.
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting security control testing and evaluations within an internal audit framework.
  • Knowledge of internal audit methodologies, including risk assessment, planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Hold a professional certification such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, PCI QSA, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in industry standards and frameworks (e.g., NIST 800-53, ISO 27001/27002).
  • Familiarity with privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and breach notification laws.
  • Experience with sector-specific frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, PCI).

Technical skills

  • Knowledge of security tools such as Sailpoint, Rapid7, Wiz.io, MS Defender, SIEM, vulnerability management, and penetration testing tools.
  • Familiarity with cloud concepts and technologies, AWS and Azure
  • Experience using generative AI such as Chat GPT to create test strategies, reports, and communications.
  • Proficiency in automation and analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Alteryx, and PowerBI).
  • Experience creating queries and reports using RSA Archer and ServiceNow.

About This Role

Responsibilities:

The Identity Access Management Technician’s role is to plan, organize, and manage the enterprise identity environment at iRhythm Technologies. This position will ensure that the identity systems, privileged access, and associated integrations are properly planned, installed, configured, documented, secured, and maintained particularly Active Directory and Okta. This role will also be working closely with engineers and systems owners and partner with other organizations in the business. What You'll Be Doing:

Duties in this role include:

What You Need for this Position

  • Must have at least 4-7 years experience in Identity and Access Management/Access Control or related position
  • Excellent interaction and communication skills; ability to communicate (both written and verbal) clearly and concisely
  • High energy and ability to work independently in a very fast growth environment
  • Experience with Microsoft collaboration suite (Office 365 Mail, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
  • Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Server operating Systems & Active Directory
  • Candidate should have a solid understanding of information security policies, standards, and industry leading practices

About the role

  • Work, and collaborate with cross-functional teams, on governance engines such as IIQ
  • Integrate and optimize workforce identity tools like Okta into SAAS tools
  • Deploy, monitor and manage the deployment of tools in Kubernetes
  • Assist in creating training and user documentation, and maintain ongoing documentation for processes
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to identity management and authentication tools.
  • Perform additional tasks related to software development as needed.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of software engineering experience with ideally a focus on identity management and authentication.
  • 3+ years of experience with Python, React, etc.
  • Strong understanding of identity protocols such as SAML, OIDC, and SCIM.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with identity tools such as FusionAuth, Auth0, Ory, Keycloak, Zitadel, Stytch, Propelauth, Clerk, Frontegg, or Supertokens.
  • Experience with identity governance engines like SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ).
