  • 3+ years of experience in chemical regulatory affairs, expert consulting, outsourced SDS authoring, or related field with a focus on Asia Pacific.
  • Broad domain expertise in chemicals and product regulatory compliance, operations, and processes specifically for the Asia-Pacific region.
  • Fluency in one of the following languages: Chinese, Japanese, or Korean.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of chemical compounds, families, or other chemicals products.
  • Experience in providing guidance on understanding regulatory requirements.

This is a key position in a small sales team within a growing company. As a Risk & Compliance Director at 3E, you’ll be part of a small team performing various Information Security and privacy related responsibilities. This is a great opportunity for an individual that wants to be part of the team that builds out the overall global privacy and compliance program as 3E continues to grow. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversees implementation and governance of 3E’s compliance program and seeks continuous improvement of program to ensure enforcement throughout the company’s international operations
  • Designs and deploys compliance training communication and programs suitable for designated countries and/or targeted teams/leaders
  • Identifies areas of compliance vulnerability and risk; develops and implements risk mitigation programs and processes in areas such as privacy, anti-bribery and corruption, anti-competition, anti-money laundering and economic sanctions, whistleblowing
  • Maintains accurate and timely records, and risk /compliance systems to support operation of relevant activities
  • Collaborates with global project teams to implement initiatives
  • Provides guidance, advice and coordinates with local functions and teams to monitor performance of compliance program
  • Assists in the completion of Vendor risk assessment requests from clients, as well as vendor risk assessments for 3E’s vendors

Qualifications

Role Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Information Security, Privacy, Risk Management, or related field. Preferably as an attorney with law firm and/or in-house experience
  • Experience in privacy laws, access, release of information and data breach notification laws
  • Experience in writing policies and guidance documents supporting business activities and investigations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Law degree from accredited law school
  • Strong integrity and ethical values, ability to uphold them under pressure
  • Clear communicator with analytical/interpersonal skills; manages conflicts in constructive manner; detail oriented.
  • Experience in implementation of risk & compliance programs

Position Overview:

The Business Intelligence Analysts II will develop and implement Business Intelligence (BI) solutions to support increasing the efficiency of Verisk processes, enhancing Verisk’s current products, and developing new products. This position works with an existing team of Business Intelligence Analysts within the Verisk Claims Solutions group that services both internal and external customers. Following existing patterns, the successful candidate will develop and deliver timely business intelligence solutions that meet specific technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

·       Design, build, and review new and existing dashboards with BI team

·       Develop BI solutions using BI Tools like ThoughtSpot and Power-BI

·       Perform Data analysis and profiling using BI tools

·       Debug, monitor and troubleshoot BI Solutions

·       Create and Deploy reporting solutions

·       Work with Senior BI developers to design the visualizations screens

·       Ensure that solutions meet specified technical requirements

·       Ensure that solution is delivered in a timely manner

·       Work with Product Owners and customers to understand requirements, validate solutions and troubleshoot issues

Qualifications

·       Bachelor’s in a quantitative field with 5+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s in a quantitative field with 3+ years of relevant experience, or PhD in a quantitative field 

·       Strong programming, visualizations, and analytical skills,  

·       Good knowledge in one or more like Power BI, ThoughtSpot, Tableau, R, Python, Spotfire, MS-Excel, MS-Report builder etc. 

·       Ability to solve problems analytically and creatively  

·       Strong communication (written and oral) skills 

·       Experience with BI connecting to relational/non-relational databases, flat files 

·       Familiar with SQL or NoSQL (e.g. Snowflake, Hadoop, HBase, MongoDB and/or Neo4j) databases

This growing team is responsible for developing and maintaining products and services that aid clients in the insurance, restoration, and related industries in effectively responding to natural catastrophe events.

         A successful candidate will have experience in the field of atmospheric science or a comparable background. Knowledge of severe weather events is desired. Experience in at least one of the following areas is highly desired: weather radar, weather modeling, hurricane, or data assimilation. A strong scientific coding background is required. The candidate should be self-motivated with the ability to work in a collaborative team setting. The candidate will interact closely with scientists, product managers, and software and development engineers and must be comfortable interfacing with these different roles.
