PureIntegration is seeking a  ETL Developer I who will be responsible to extract and analyze information from the data warehouse and enterprise data environments using ETL software. Integrate data from multiple sources into unified reports that support executive reporting needs and program operation.

Responsibility:

• Responsible for facilitating UAT testing of newly built reports. Act as the primary liaison to the end user community to present findings, support content questions, and drive enhancements to ensure reports are actionable and remain aligned to current business practices.

• Troubleshoot technical issues resulting in job failures and coordinate solution across appropriate groups (system administrators, database administrators, engineering, etc).

• Develop and test ETL components to high standards of quality and performance.

• Perform design/code/test reviews for ETL components.

• Assist with planning and execute releases of ETL components into production.

• Develop or enhance Pentaho plugins (Java) as needed.

• Provide operational support for the analytics infrastructure.

• Research, identify and recommend technical and operational improvements resulting in improved reliability and/or efficiencies in maintaining and/or developing the application.

• Evaluate and advise on technical aspects of open work requests in the product backlog with the project.   

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.

• 1 to 3 years’ experience with ETL, SQL, Python and Unix/Linux.

• 1 to 3 or more years of experience with ETL Development.

• 1 to 3 years of IT work experience in business intelligence tools and systems.

•  Extensive experience with one or more ETL Administration platforms (Informatica/Snaplogic/Pentaho/Talend/Stich/Alooma)

• Experience with data warehouse concepts/architecture in high volume, real-time transactions and batch ETL jobs.

• Strong Perl programming skills, PERL DBI module & multithreaded.

• Strong Oracle SQL programming skills.

• Working knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) and data warehouse front-end tools.

• Extensive knowledge of data warehouse and data mart concepts.

• Experience with full SDLC and Agile development methodology.

• C, Java, Python, any Big Data tool experience a big plus.

• Experience with information security and access control protocols.

• Experience in Debugging/ QA Testing

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate end-to-end systems integration and functional validation for various components for video advertising platform for both Classic QAM video delivery and IP based ABR streaming platform.  This role requires close collaboration with Product, Architecture, Development, System Integration & Test and Operations/Monitoring teams as well as external solution vendors.
• Document interfaces and technical requirements for various components as part of the end-to-end platform.
• Create deployment architecture and developing MOPs for deployment.
• Perform operation readiness testing for the end-to-end platform and entire workflow
• Train Operations team for operational handoff.
• Assist in troubleshooting of any production issues.

Requirements:

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or  Computer Science/Engineering with software development experience.
• Familiarity with various Software Engineering methodologies such as SAFe/Agile
• Experience with various networking protocols, virtualized platforms and cloud computing a plus
• Experience with various scripting technologies and monitoring tools such as Bash and Python
