Here’s how you’ll be making an impact:

 

  • Requirements Investigation: Assess how new requirements and featuresfit into the automation test suite as well as understanding scope and estimate risk.Work with relevant stakeholders to ensure that deliverables meet requirements.
  • Test Case Implementation: Develop new test cases at integration and component levels as necessary.

We’re looking for a teammate with:

 

  • At least bachelor’s degree in computer science,softwareengineering and management or similar field.
  • A genuineinterest in SW architecture from an end-to-end perspective.
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting/coding language.
  • Experience with containerized deployments and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes, Helm, Docker).
  • Experience from working in cloud environments (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP) with knowledge in the domain of infrastructure, monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • The ability to articulatethecurrent status, blocking issues, and task estimates. 
  • The ability to work both as a team and as an individual. 
  • A strong sense of responsibility and good at taking initiatives. 
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills as the company language is English. 

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience using Agile software development methods like SCRUM or Kanban.

What You Bring 
 

  • 5+ years in sales, business development, or cloud marketplace management within SaaS, cloud, or related industries. 
  • Strong understanding of cloud marketplaces (AWS, GCP, Azure) and associated partner programs, pricing models, and procurement workflows. 
  • A track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets, with the ability to drive deals from inception to close. 
  • Ability to engage with technical and business stakeholders, delivering value-driven solutions.

Base Salary: $100,000-125,000

    Experience you'll need: 

    • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
    • 8+ years experience in security engineering, building and managing security solutions across the stack (on-prem and cloud) 
    • Strong understanding of logging and data management best practices and strong experience in any logging and/or SIEM platform
    • Experience with Vault, Terraform, Puppet, Jenkins and Github
    • Proficiency in any scripting language (Python, PowerShell, Perl, Ruby, shell, etc.)
    • Working experience in GCP, AWS or Azure
    • Operational knowledge of Linux and Windows systems
    • Experience with with security automation and data management tools (XSOAR, Phantom, Snowflake, etc)
    • Prior experience working in environments with NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171 controls or FedRAMP requirements

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Security certifications are a plus (CISSP, CISM, SANS certs, vendor certs, etc.)
    • Experienced knowledge of container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc), microservices and CI/CD pipelines

    The Moodle US Infrastructure team is at the forefront of delivering high-performance, secure cloud solutions for our clients' Moodle platforms. The DevOps Engineer is on the front lines, responding to support escalations and ensuring our evolving infrastructure delivers reliable results for our clients needs.     Please note, this role is for an experienced Moodle DevOps Engineer.Additionally, due to this role's work with Federal client projects, suitable candidates must be US person, residing in the US and willing and able to gain appropriate security clearance.

    With the pace of Moodle US, no two days will ever be the same! But most days will involve a mix of:

    • Supporting multiple highly available clusters on (AWS) based infrastructure
    • Following best current DevOps practices for deployments, availability, performance and automation
    • Administering applications used for automation.
    • Assist support team with escalated issues pertaining to client facing applications.
    • Participate in research and testing of new products and enhancements to the overall hosting architecture.
    • Participates with on-call rotations
    • Tracks all work and requests in ticketing system
    • Participate in development and testing of enhancements to hosting architecture
    • Consulting of developers in infrastructure configuration issues
    • Ensuring the continuity of business and development environments
    • Provide consultation and assistance to remote clients within specified scope of work.
    • Assist with the development and maintenance of tools needed by the development team

    • Work with DevOps Lead to develop and execute a roadmap for all product development projects within DevOps and the company at large.

    • Proficiency in general security concepts and best practices relating to servers, networks, passwords, 2fa, applications, etc.

Your work as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) will ensure the quality of our backend and infrastructure that power immersive, online, live music experiences. You will work directly with team members from our Cloud, DevOps, QA, and Operations teams.

    Responsibilities

    • Design, implement, and maintain off-the-shelf and custom test automation frameworks for our C# and NodeJS based applications deployed to Kubernetes.
    • Improve code coverage for our unit, integration, stress and end-to-end testing.
    • Drive our software development process toward quality-centric methodologies,  automation, and efficiency.
    • Work directly with engineers on our backend and devops teams, our QA analysts, and operations and broadcast teams.
    • Perform manual testing for any backend systems that do not have automated tests in place.
    • Review customer feedback and telemetry from live broadcasts (logs, metrics, traces), to identify anomalies for the backend and infrastructure and create automated tests to find these problems prior to deployment

    Required Qualifications

    • B.S. Degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
    • 2+ years of experience in C# 
    • Demonstrated professional experience in automated testing frameworks for C# applications
    • Demonstrated professional experience in working with a scalable, resilient, enterprise level customer facing application
    • Basic linux systems skills
    • Strong communication skills, written and verbal
    • Love for live music

    Desired Qualifications

    • Testing and monitoring cloud-based applications in AWS utilizing EKS, EC2, S3, and CloudFront
    • Testing NodeJS, web-based applications
    • Testing SQL-based database applications
    • Containerized and Kubernetes applications
    • Testing interactive online applications (MMOs)
    • CICD pipelines (such as TeamCity, GitHub and Terraform)

    Salary Range: $80,000 - $125,000**
