Responsibilities

  • Engage in positive news and share relevant information/content/links. Respond to customer inquiries on various channels, including working with the online Customer Care team.
  • Provide monitoring of our social media mission control, watching for spikes in aggregate social conversation about clients and competitors. Work with managers to identify and flag trends.
  • Contribute to the development, execution, and presentation of social media strategies, plans, content, campaigns, and measurement reports.
  • Write strategies, content, posting/publishing, reporting, and analyzing data to provide effective social media results. All communications must be customized to clients’ tone, voice, and style.
  • Monitor and respond to customer inquiries across established social media channels, including Facebook and Twitter, and act as liaison with the online Customer Care team.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for internal process creation and change and implement them.
  • Engage with customers on news, products, and services and share relevant information/content/links.
  • Identify and flag trending topics.

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of experience in community management is preferred. Additional experience in social media, paid media, and other areas of marketing is a plus.
  • Have professional experience using enterprise publishing and listening tools. Being adept at Sprinklr is a significant plus.
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule (a combination of nights, weekends, and holidays). Holidays are recognized with paid time off. Travel may be required.

  • Technical Sales Support: Provide technical guidance during client engagements, explaining the benefits of proposed solutions in a clear and concise manner.

Skills and experience

  • Platform Architecture Expertise: Demonstrated experience designing scalable, secure cloud platforms, particularly within AWS.
  • AWS and Kubernetes Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of AWS architecture and services (Solutions Architect Professional certification preferred) and extensive experience with Kubernetes and EKS (Certified Kubernetes Administrator is a plus).
  • Infrastructure as Code: Mastery of infrastructure-as-code practices and tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.

Purpose

    We, at Flywire, are looking for an experienced Sr. Software Engineer I, ideally with a background in FinTech. Your primary responsibility will be to build and maintain the platform that supports the money movement of our industry leading payment engine moving hundreds of millions everyday. 

    You will be joining a team in charge of designing new functionalities and improving the current capabilities to improve speed, cost and scalability of our product. Thus, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, pragmatic design, building quality products and to convey the sensation that the product is the responsibility of all the team is essential. You will be responsible for ensuring high quality code in a team defined timeframe. 

    • Write clean, high quality, testable, secure, maintainable and extendable code

    Qualifications

    Here’s What We’re Looking For:

    • 4+ years of experience in web application development 
    • Experience in designing, developing and supporting scalable, performant and reliable web applications and distributed systems
    • Seasoned in techniques such TDD and BDD
    • Proficient working with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD)
    • Understanding of relational databases 
    • Strong understanding of object-oriented fundamentals
    • Reviewing application requirements and interface designs.
    • Identifying web-based user interactions.
    • Experience with user interface design.
    • Experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing software.
    • Excellent troubleshooting skills.
    • Great understanding of the other disciplines in the cross functional team: QAs, Product and SREs
    • Fluent in English, as it is the company’s working language

    Each Engineer plays an integral role in the development, delivery, maintenance, and support of our insurance-based systems, both public-facing and internal. The platform engineering team enables our engineers to quickly build and run safe, secure and cost effective systems in our public cloud. 

    What you’ll be doing:

    • As a Staff Platform Engineer you'll be working as part of an agile team that provides services and tools to our internal engineering teams 
    • Suggest and drive change across the engineering team and both challenge and improve existing practices and systems
    • Mentor and coach other engineers; helping them grow whilst fostering a strong engineering culture
    • You'll be introducing new technologies and approaches, and play a key role in the technical direction that platform engineering at Tempcover should take, while providing support and maintenance of existing platforms
    • Helping drive and shape a greenfield project to rebuild our cloud infrastructure - moving from Azure to AWS

    What we look for in you

    Ideally your technical background will include:

    • Automation using an IaC approach
    • CI/CD
