The Role

Addepar is looking for a high-energy, results-driven Business Development Representative to join our Business Development & Sales organization. Working very closely with Sales and key partners, BDRs are tasked with strategically developing and qualifying revenue opportunities within assigned account territories and segments. This is an exciting opportunity to generate and hunt for new business opportunities to fuel our growth across the wealth management, family office, private banking, and global investment management market segments. What You’ll Do

  • Generate new business opportunities to fuel Addepar’s growth
  • Create and prioritize strategic target account lists and account attack plans within a defined territory

Who You Are

The Role

We are seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to join our Reference Data Team!

The reference data team at Addepar is responsible to manage the data reconciliation and curation process for market data providers to build a single source of truth and provide alignment across public and alternative investment data products for the client to manage their investment portfolio.

As an engineer on the team you will partner with product teams at Addepar to understand their business needs. You’ll contribute to increasingly challenging engineering projects with the ultimate goal of enabling solutions on and effective use of the data platform.

Our engineering team primarily works with PySpark, Python, AWS, Terraform, Java, and Kubernetes. We use Agile methodologies to deliver on business outcomes.

The Role

As a Technical Solution Architect you will play a crucial role in helping our clients build custom integrations using Addepar's suite of APIs. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to develop innovative internal tools to address client challenges, expedite implementations and unblock internal and external stakeholders. Who You Are

  • Minimum 3+ years experience working in technology, finance, or consulting

The Role

The Operating Platform (“OP”) is responsible for all data acquisition, storage, conversion, cleansing, disambiguation, modeling, tooling, infrastructure, and provisioning of portfolio, market, account, and reference data. The platform will provide a “data fabric” foundation on which the Addepar-as-a-multi-product strategy can be executed. OP will be the single source of truth for data within Addepar and includes a centralized and self-describing repository (aka Data Lake), a set of API-driven data services, an integration pipeline, analytics infrastructure, warehousing solutions, and operating tools.

We are currently seeking backend software engineers to join teams in our operating platform group! These teams are passionate about handling large volumes of data, and the engineering challenges in building the distributed systems responsible for automated data ingestion and transformation. In this role, you will have the opportunity to use the newest technology stacks to build the next generation of the entire data, computation, API, and research platform of Addepar. Addepar takes a market-based approach to pay. The Role

Portfolio Data Integration is part of the broader Addepar Platform team. The overall Addepar Platform provides a single source of truth “data fabric” used by the Addepar product set, including a centralised and self-describing repository (a.k.a Data Lake), a set of API-driven data services, an integration pipeline, analytics infrastructure, warehousing solutions, and operating tools. The team has responsibility for all data acquisition, conversion, cleansing, disambiguation, modelling, tooling and infrastructure related to the integration of client portfolio data.

Addepar’s core business relies on the ability to quickly and accurately ingest data from a variety of sources, including 3rd party data providers, custodial banks, data APIs, and even direct user input. Portfolio Data integrations and feeds are a highly critical cross-section of this set, allowing our users to get automatically updated and reconciled information on their latest holdings onto the platform.

As a data engineer for this team, you will execute the development of new data integrations and maintenance of existing processes in order to expand and improve our data platform. You’ll be adding automation and functionality to our distributed data pipelines by writing PySpark code and integrating it within our Databricks Data Lake. As you gain more experience, you’ll contribute to increasingly challenging engineering projects within our platform with the ultimate goal of dramatically increasing the throughput of data ingestion for Addepar. This is a crucial, highly visible role within the company. Your team is a big component of growing and serving Addepar’s client base with minimal manual effort required from our clients or from our internal data operations team.

What You’ll Do

  • Complete individual project priorities, deadlines, and solutions.
  • Build pipelines that support the ingestion, analysis, and enrichment of financial data in partnership with business data analysts
  • Improve the existing pipeline to increase the throughput and accuracy of data
  • Develop and maintain efficient process controls and accurate metrics to ensure quality standards and organisational expectations are met
  • Partner with members of Product and Engineering to design, test, and implement new processes and tooling features that improve data quality as well as increase operational efficiency
  • Identify areas of automation opportunities and implement improvements
  • Understand data models and schemas, and work with other engineering teams to recommend extensions and changes

Who You Are

  • 1-3 years of professional data engineering/analysis experience
  • Experience with object-oriented programming (we use PySpark/Python)
  • Knowledge of SQL or relational database concepts
  • Experience in data modelling, visualisation, and ETL pipelines
  • Knowledge of financial concepts (e.g., stocks, bonds, etc.) is helpful but not necessary
  • Passion for the world of FinTech and solving previously intractable problems at the heart of investment management

The Role

The data platform at Addepar brings together data from multiple sources to enable a single source of truth for data at Addepar using a Data Lakehouse. We are a vertical team that works cross-team within Addepar to implement solutions on the platform that solve critical business problems.

The Role

The Navigator team at Addepar is growing!

Navigator is a quantitative liquidity risk projection tool that is one of the key components of Addepar's multi-product ecosystem. Brought into the Addepar family as part of an acquisition in 2021, Addepar has continued to double down on investing in this critical add-on, as we've scaled well beyond the multi-million ARR goal first set for this product line.

As we continue to scale, a need has opened up for a Senior Frontend Engineer who would bring to bear their unique expertise with the existing Engineering team, with exciting opportunities to extend the scope for this role longer term, as the product continues to push onward into future global expansion mode.

The Role

We are looking for a Product Management Analyst for our ADM Team! Alternatives Data Management (ADM) is one of Addepar’s most requested new add-on products. It is both a backend data processing and ingestion service as well as a frontend investment management platform within the broader Addepar platform. ADM provides Addepar clients with timely and accurate data about their investments in Alternative assets such as Private Equity Funds, Hedge Funds, and Real Estate Funds so that they have a clearer understanding of their overall portfolio performance and are able to make more informed investment decisions.

In this role, you will be responsible for helping develop the client-facing features, internal tooling, and workflows related to onboarding new ADM clients and GP/Fund Admin communication and outreach. You will act as the voice of the customer and interact directly with Clients, Fund Administrators, Engineering, and Operations.

The Role

We are currently seeking a Product Operations Lead to join our Product Strategy & Operations team! This is a new function at Addepar that builds the connective tissue between the Product team and our cross-functional partner functions. Through effective coordination and well-designed playbooks, we enable product development organizations to more efficiently drive meaningful outcomes for our customers and our business.

As a founding member of this function, you will help frame our scope and responsibilities, and define how we operate as a team, and mentor others as we grow. What You’ll Do

  • Design and implement an effective go-to-market playbook for new products and major product changes, from early research and validation to post-launch adoption and operationalization

What You Will Do:

  • Participate in the design and development of a strategic product for Addepar.
  • Be responsible for all engineering aspects of a new product development including product features, infrastructure, CI/CD, data, and services.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that's also scalable and extensible.
  • Innovate in financial data presentation and accessibility to transform client consumption with AI and set new industry standards.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of software engineering experience.
  • Proficient in backend development, specifically with Python or Java.
  • Experienced in data processing and analysis using SQL, PySpark, or similar frameworks.
  • A rapid learner with robust analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Previous work with major cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) and familiarity with Databricks and AI are significant pluses.

What You’ll Do

  • Successfully manage and lead multiple ongoing client renewals and upsell opportunities
  • Comfortable overseeing a book of business across a wide range of clients including Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs), Family Offices, Banks, and Institutions
  • Act as relationship owner and escalation point, building meaningful relationships with the C-suite to drive business outcomes
  • Work cross-functionally to drive revenue growth across a portfolio of clients for Addepar products

What You’ll Do

  • Lead end-to-end project management for software implementations, including planning, execution, testing, training, monitoring, and closing phases.
  • Collaborate with internal collaborators and solution architects to collect requirements, define project scope, and establish project timelines and deliverables.
  • Act as the point of contact for 3rd party vendors involved; ensuring deliverables are met according to agreed-upon timelines and quality standards.
  • Build and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, risk registers, and change control logs.
  • Proactively identify potential risks and issues and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Facilitate regular project meetings, including kick-off meetings, status updates, and post-implementation reviews, to ensure alignment and visibility across all collaborators.
  • Clearly communicate project status, milestones, and dependencies to our Internal Center or Excellence committee.
  • Monitor project budget and resources, ensuring projects are delivered within budgetary constraints.
  • Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement by developing efficient operational processes and frameworks where none exist or promoting process and system improvement where vital.
  • Work with the Business Operations - Systems Director to help with over all Program Management within the organization.
