Estamos en la búsqueda de un joven responsable y energético con experiencia en la enseñanza de la computación y programación para estudiantes de edades entre 6 y 17 años. Idealmente, tener experiencia mínima de un año como educador.

La posición está abierta a remoto, lo que permitirá flexibilidad al candidato de impartir clases en un horario adecuado. El candidato ideal debe ser pasionado por la educación y disfrutar de trabajar con estudiantes para ayudarlos a comprender los conceptos clave de la programación.

El perfil debe tener una comprensión práctica y actualizada de las herramientas y software informáticos utilizados en la enseñanza de la computación, incluyendo, al menos, un lenguaje de programación avanzado tal como Python, Java, C++, C#.

Requisitos:

  • Conocimientos técnicos relacionados con la aplicación de Tecnologías de Información (programación, informática) a nivel medio/avanzado.
  • Conocimientos en educación pedagógica y psicológica a nivel medio/avanzado (ideal, pero no limitante)

Tipos de cursos disponibles en la Sucursal y requisitos específicos: 

  1. Cursos en Alfabetización Digital, Diseño de videojuegos, Programación Visual y Python Start / ProEs necesario el conocimiento de, al menos, un lenguaje de programación avanzado tal como Python, Java, C++, C#. 
  2. Curso de creador de contenido de video: Experiencia en la creación y montaje de contenido de vídeo. 
  3. Diseño Gráfico: Experiencia de trabajo con algunas aplicaciones especializadas de visualización y diseño tal como Adobe Photoshop CC; Adobe Illustrator CC; Adobe InDesign; CorelDRAW Graphics Suite; Xara Designer Pro-X; Sketch; Figma; Affinity Designer; GIMP; Scribus; InkScape.

Deliver and Enhance Design Output

  • Create relevant visualisations based on the design concepts and requirements

  • Execute sketch, prototypes, visualisations, and mock-ups design for the development
  • Generate ideas for new design concepts and prototypes

  • Facilitate the discussion in framing the problems using appropriate design perspective with also considering users and business needs

    • Drive the creation of intuitive, accessible, and aesthetically pleasing cloud and platform service interfaces and experiences that prioritize user needs while meeting technical requirements and security standards.
    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment between design vision and technical feasibility.
    • Lead the creation of prototypes and mockups to visualize design concepts and interactions. Conduct usability testing and iterate designs based on user feedback.
    • Advocate for inclusive design principles and ensure that the services are accessible to individuals with diverse abilities and needs.
    • Establish and maintain design guidelines, patterns, and best practices that promote consistency and coherence across the program's cloud services.
    • Engage with government agencies, end-users, and stakeholders to gather feedback, build relationships, and refine design strategies.
      • Create and champion human-centered solutions across a portfolio of high-profile programs.
      • Mentor and collaborate with designers across the organization.
      • Tailor organizational best practices and playbooks for specific customers and domains.

    What you’ll need to succeed:

    • An active DoD Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain
    • 9+ years of experience leading human-centered design efforts, preferably in large-scale cloud development or government projects.
    • Strong portfolio showcasing successful design projects and the ability to articulate design rationale.
    • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, etc.
    • Expertise in user research techniques, usability testing, and user-centered design methodologies along with excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor a diverse design team.
    • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey design concepts and principles to technical and non-technical stakeholders, as well as knowledge of information technologies including cloud, service delivery models, and government processes is a plus.
    • Familiarity with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and inclusive design practices.
    • Ideal candidate has experience serving in a design capacity on a platform as a service (PaaS) or cloud product team
    • Experience mentoring and leading other designers, including contributing to or leading a Design Community of Practice, in addition to having a problem-solving mindset, adaptability, and a passion for driving positive user experiences in complex environments.

    EquipmentShare is Hiring a Senior Product Designer.

    EquipmentShare is searching for a skilled designer to plan, build and execute impeccable UX and UI design for our Rental mobile and web apps. Our Senior Product Designer will work with engineering teams that are specifically responsible for building the tools to facilitate Rentals with our customers.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Serve as the UX/UI Designer for web and mobile Rental apps
    • Work directly with clients and product owners to solve customers’ problems through design
    • Lay out designs in a variety of programs and tools. Our teams primarily use Figma, but other tools are acceptable for drafting and consideration. 
    • Plan, strategize and ultimately build a positive interaction between the user and our apps through great design decisions
    • Ensure the overall software experience is painless, seamless and easy-to-navigate for customers who use our product all day to do their job
    • Quality check design implementations before they ship
    • Discuss new features with teams and actively participate in discussions to find solutions to user problems
    • Champion design projects through various product launches, and be able to take a simple sketch to a full fledged, pixel-perfect mockup
    • Embed yourself in product teams and gather feedback to improve product design and function
    • Make sure all new features in subsystems are visually consistent with the rest of the app, and eventually contribute to the design system for Track and Link and Admin apps
    • Advocate for consistent brand design and an overall outstanding and pleasant user experience

    Skills & Qualifications

    • Several years of experience in successfully leading a design team, building out design systems and standardizing the look and feel of a product 
    • Both mobile and web app design experience is necessary.
    • Experience in user testing and accessibility testing, especially keyboard accessibility and visual contrast
    • Knowledge of CSS/HTML. We don't expect you to be writing CSS, but a good understanding of native browser capabilities is important.
    • Solid experience laying out forms with lots of inputs and information-dense tables
    • A history of shipping people-first products that had tangible, real-life effects on the consumer. We’re looking for a designer with experience in creating actual products — not just conceptualizing them. 
    • Naturally great communication skills. We’re a remote team, so communication is key, and we trust you to clearly communicate your strategic goals and ideas to the rest of us.
    • A PDF or online portfolio of work to back up all of your skills and qualifications. Applicants who do not present a portfolio are unlikely to be considered.
