Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Alignment:Define and refine solution architectures that align with the organization's business strategies andobjectives. 
  • Roadmap Development:Develop andmaintaincomprehensive enterprise business and application roadmaps for multiple Product Teams and projects. 
  • Business Translation:Understand and translate business drivers, goals, and capabilities into system designs and change requirements. 
  • Lead Evaluation and Design:Evaluate, design, and analyze the implementation of solution architectures across business applications and technologies.
  • Architectural Development:Develop architectural designs guiding solution development across products, services, and systems, including applications, technologies, processes, and information.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:Liaise with business stakeholders to ensure architectural solutions align with business needs, driving targeted outcomes. 
  • Effectiveness Monitoring:Continuouslymonitorthe effectiveness of the solutions architecture and recommend adjustments as necessary to meet businessobjectives.

  • Consultation:Act as a consultant on a broad spectrum of technologies, platforms, and vendor offerings,providingexpert advice to drive targeted business outcomes.

  • A bachelor's degree inComputerScience, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field isa plus.
  • A minimum of threeyears of specialized experience in solution architecture, with a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable, robust, and secure architectures. 
  • Experience in the insurance industry is desired, with workers' compensation experienceas a plus.
  • Deep understandingofAWSorAzure cloud services, including architecture design, deployment, and management.Related certification is amajorplus.
  • Proficiencyin modern software development practices, including microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), API management, networking, storage, and security.
  • Proficient in database design and management using SQL and other relational and non-relational database technologies.

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $110,000$135,000per year. The Senior Solutions Architect is a hands-on technical advisor and leader that plays a vital role in creating continuity from sales to delivery. The Job…

  • Serve as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to the client for all technical and implementation related solutions, ensuring alignment with the client’s business objectives
  • Drive pre-sales activities such as technical discovery and deep-dive sessions with prospects
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of client requirements, business processes, technical challenges, and implementation requirements
  • Proactively manage risk areas in the solution and contribute to seeing issues through to completion
  • Build trusted relationships with c-level executives and technical decision makers and manage customer expectations throughout the sales cycle and delivery 
  • Negotiate solutions and align with project managers, sales engineering, SI partners, and internal teams to support planning and implementation in close collaboration with the client
  • Act as the “Voice of the Customer” to bring insights, trends and opportunities to the leadership, product and engineering teams from the forefront and prioritized for delivery.
  • Maintain familiarity with SaaS market dynamics, in particular contemporary technologies and processes as well as stay up to date on trends within the nonprofit industry


  • 6+ years of relevant consulting or professional services experience designing technical solutions
  • 4+ years as a certified salesforce administrator architecting, designing and implementing the integration architectures and applications on large-scale technical projects
  • 4+ years of experience with Salesforce implementation and configuration, including NPSP, Nonprofit Cloud, managed packages, duplicate management best practices, flows, and security controls
  • Experience in detailing customer requirements, business processes and systems design and making recommendations for future state improvements
  • Strong knowledge & experience with ReST APIs, JS, and implementing middleware
  • Strong organizational skills 
  • Exceptional oral and written communication. Must be able to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively   
  • Able to take ownership of complex technical problems and drive them to resolution
  • Ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into technical design
  • Strong people skills to lead collaboration across functions and organizations

The total annual salary for this full-time position is $135,000 - $180,000 + equity + benefits.  As this is a remote position, the salary range was determined by role, level, and possible location across the US. Your Career

As a Palo Alto Networks Solutions Architect – Prisma Cloud Security Specialist, you will be the authority on our cybersecurity offerings for Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) include Containers and Serverless. You are the “go-to” resource for customer interactions that exceed the typical Systems Engineering requirements.

Your Impact

  • Establish yourself as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers working with your Account Manager and the local partners within your territory
  • Lead conversations about industry trends and emerging changes to the security landscape that every customer needs to be aware of
  • Strategy planning for moving critical data, intellectual property, and high-demand applications to Public Cloud
  • Be the technical voice of Sales for all things related to security and compliance in Public Cloud (Alicloud, AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform)

  • Effectively lead and support customer demonstrations with our System Engineers that showcase our value

  • Assist with the training of new System Engineers in their designated region in installs customer presentations, and internally-focused deal preparation activities

Your Experience

  • Experience as a system engineer, solutions architect, or systems integrator
  • Experience in pre-sales highly prefered 
  • Good understanding & expertise of tools such as Ansible, Terraform, CI/CD (Jenkins, Github, etc)
  • Understanding of API based security and compliance standards and Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems and scripting
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex multivariate problems and find a systematic approach to gain a quick resolution, often under duress
  • Mature and effective time-management skills
  • Experience with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud installation, configuration and administration of security features and services including identity and access management, service-related security features, networking, firewalls, encryption, and related standard methodologies
  • Proficiency with cloud networking models and connectivity, network security, virtualization, and cloud computing
  • Working experience with customers, positioning, demonstrating, configuring and fixing network infrastructure security products
  • Travel up to 30% within the designated region, country, and/or theater, International travel also required on ad-hoc basis
  • Programming experience in a higher-level language such as NodeJS, Ruby, Chef, Puppet, YAML, JSON, and/or Python
  • Experience working with Channel partners and understanding of a channel centric go to market approach
  • Experience from companies in the enterprise networking security space
