  • Present Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical contributors to customers.

  • Partner with Professional Services Practice Directors and Practice Managers to identify, iterate and scope proposals and Statements of Work, both for packaged services as well as custom Time and Materials projects
  • Collaborate with Snowflake sales executives and account teams on opportunity development and overall account strategy
  • Build trust and confidence in Snowflake Professional Services through the delivery of on-site technical/use-case workshops, leadership of video conference meetings, assistance with deep-dive technical issues or questions and public-facing evangelism (LinkedIn, Medium, etc.) of Snowflake
  • Collect and communicate common themes and questions from customer meetings to inform delivery teams on the evolving services landscape, identifying opportunities to build new and/or evolve existing packaged service offerings
  • Drive project teams towards common goals of accelerating the adoption of Snowflake solutions. 
  • Demonstrate and communicate the value of Snowflake technology throughout paid engagements, from demo to proof of concept to running workshops, design sessions and implementation with customers and stakeholders.
  • Create repeatable processes and documentation as a result of customer engagement.
  • Create and collaborate on Industry based solutions that are relevant to other customers in order to drive more value out of Snowflake. 
  • Follow best practices, including ensuring knowledge transfer so that customers are correctly enabled and can extend the capabilities of Snowflake on their own.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors and how to position Snowflake in relation to them.

OUR IDEAL SENIOR SALES SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT WILL HAVE :

  • BA/BS in computer science, engineering, mathematics or related fields, or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 5 years of experience as a solutions architect, data architect, database administrator, or data engineer coupled with internal and/or external consulting experience
  • Minimum 2 years of practical Snowflake experience, leading or participating in services engagements
  • Minimum 2 years of practical experience with at least one of the three major cloud providers (AWS, Azure or GCP)
  • Understanding of complete data analytics stack and workflow, from ETL to data platform design to BI and analytics tools
  • Hands-on experience in a technical role (SQL, data warehousing, cloud data, analytics, or ML/AI), extensive knowledge of and experience with large-scale database technology (e.g. Snowflake, Netezza, Exadata, Teradata, Greenplum, etc.), including with data science/AI/ML use cases and workloads
  • Software development experience with Python, Java , Spark and other Scripting languages
  • Proficiency in implementing data security measures, access controls, and design within the Snowflake platform

The Professional Services Program Manager, Partner Enablement  is responsible for developing and executing programs that empower partners to deliver Snowflake engagements effectively.   This role involves close collaboration with internal teams and external partners to ensure partners are equipped with the necessary skills, tools, and resources to drive customer success and satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive professional services enablement programs for partners, including the creation and maintenance of training materials such as technical documentation, implementation guides, workshops, and certification programs, to ensure enablement programs align with Snowflake’s strategic goals and meet the needs of various partner segments.  Develop and deliver implementation and accurate scoping enablement materials.
  • Develop and execute a structured onboarding process for new partners enablement and provide all partners with the necessary tools and resources to effectively deliver services from day one by conducting initial training sessions focused on Snowflake’s service delivery methodologies and best practices.
  • Continuously assess the training needs of partners and develop targeted training programs to address skill gaps by organizing regular training sessions, webinars, and workshops to keep partners updated on new services, methodologies, and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to create and update training content.
  • Develop and maintain a centralized repository of enablement resources, including service delivery kits, technical documentation, and best practice guides, and ensure partners have easy access to the most current materials and resources.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of enablement resources and make improvements as needed.
  • Establish and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of partner enablement programs, and track and analyze partner performance data to identify trends, successes, and areas for improvement.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Education, or a related field.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL GET TO: 

  • Apply your multi-cloud data architecture expertise while presenting Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at strategic prospects, customers, and partners
  • Work with our product management, partners, and sales teams in order to drive innovation in our Cloud Data Platform 
  • Partner with sales team and channel partners to understand the needs of our customers,  strategize on how to navigate and accelerate winning sales cycles, provide compelling value-based enterprise architecture deliverables and working sessions to ensure customers are set up for success operationally, and support strategic enterprise pilots / proof-of-concepts 
  • Collaborate closely with our Product team to effectively influence the Cloud Data Platform product roadmaps based on field team and customer feedback
  • Partner with Product Marketing teams to  spread awareness and support pipeline building via customer roundtables,  conferences, events, blogs, webinars, and whitepapers
  • Contribute to the creation of reference architectures, blueprints, best practices, etc. based on field experience to continue to up-level and enable our internal stakeholders

ON DAY ONE, WE WILL EXPECT YOU TO HAVE: 

  • 10+ years of architecture experience within the Enterprise Data space
  • Deep Technical Hands on Expertise within one or more of the following (preferably with several): Data Warehouse Modernization / Migrations, Data Lakes, Data Engineering
  • 3+ years of Cloud Provider experience including certifications in AWS, GCP and/or Azure 
  • Outstanding presentation skills to both technical and executive audiences, whether impromptu on a whiteboard or using presentations and demos
  • Broad range of experience with on-prem or cloud Data Warehouse technology, streaming technologies, ETL pipelines, and Data Lakes
  • Knowledge of SQL, Javascript, Python, and / or other scripting languages
  • Industry Focus a plus  (Education, Federal, Financial Services, Healthcare & Lifesciences, Insurance, Adv. Media, Retail CPG, Technology and Telecom)
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Masters Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or related fields, or equivalent experience preferred

Our Public Sector team is expanding and we are seeking a qualified Account Executive with expertise in the Canadian public sector.  The role will focus on provincial government ministries, Crown Corporations, health care and municipalities.  In this role you will use your creative prospecting skills to strategically pursue net new business and expand business for current customers. 

Your role will encompass prospecting, developing, and closing business within a timely manner while focusing on the clients’ requirements and value based outcomes.

  • Experience selling within the Canadian public sector space with a focus in provincial government, health care, and municipalities. 
  • Demonstrable experience executing enterprise complex sales strategies and tactics within one of the following spaces Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Data Science and/or AI/ML 
  • A familiarity with solution-based approach to selling, have experience managing a complex sales process and possess excellent presentation and listening skills, organization and contact management capabilities.
  • The ability to build our product and company like it’s your own, specifically defining and executing sales plans to meet strategic & financial targets, leveraging industry, partner & Go-to-Market knowledge

AS A SR. SERVICES PRACTICE MANAGER YOU WILL:

  • 10+ years of experience in a Sales and Services Delivery role (or similar capacity) interfacing with executives and dealing with complex, technical implementation projects, roadmapping and revenue forecasting
  • Direct experience in a Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence and/or Cloud field
  • Proven track record of meeting booking, utilization, and consumption (or similar) targets
