About the role

Pay Transparency:

The base pay for this role in the states of California, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, and Washington is: $158,400 - $207,900 per year. The base pay for this role in all other locations is: $142,560 - $187,110 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar’s unlimited vacation program, company equity grants, and annual performance bonuses.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement contracting strategies in partnership with Market Leaders that align with the company’s overall network development and cost management objectives.
  • Lead and mentor the provider contracting team, setting clear goals and expectations.
  • Collaborate with the Network Monitoring & Performance team to identify network gaps and develop strategies to expand provider relationships and access to care.
  • If necessary, be able to source and identify OON provider targets that align with Oscars overall Market strategy
  • Lead contract negotiations with hospitals, physicians, ancillary service providers, and other healthcare entities.
  • Develop and execute contracting agreements that drive financial performance, ensure access to quality care, and support cost control efforts.
  • Ensure timely resolution of provider issues related to contract terms, reimbursement, and network participation.
  • Ensure all provider agreements comply with relevant federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Act as a primary point of contact between the organization and healthcare providers for contracting-related activities.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with providers to foster collaboration and network stability.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in healthcare provider contracting, network development, or related areas.

Responsibilities

  • Strong understanding of designs, builds, and configuration workflows and utilize this knowledge to develop insights into opportunities for workflow improvements.
  • Understand aggregated configuration data to identify updates required and to measure the impact of any changes on internal operations and existing configuration 
  • Load configuration data into the core system accurately and in a timely manner
  • Leverage internal tools and technical processes, in particular database querying and benefit configuration concepts.

Pay Transparency:

The base pay for this role is: $88,800 - $116,550 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar's unlimited vacation program, and annual performance bonuses.

Responsibilities

  • Lead team and department meetings and participate in meetings with operations management and within the current department.
  • Be a clinical expert and resource for the team and other departments.
  • Promote team strategy to achieve department goals.
  • Provide detailed feedback to members of the team and company to produce positive results.
  • Lead continuous improvement activities that influence the improvement and development of a high performing team.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a healthcare setting as a nurse or social worker.
  • 1+ years of case management experience at a managed care plan or provider organization
  • Active, unrestricted Nursing license (RN) in your state of hire and ability to obtain additional licensure as needed OR Masters in Social Work

Responsibilities

The base pay for this role in all other locations is: $97,200 - $127,575 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar’s unlimited vacation program, and annual performance bonuses.

 

Responsibilities

  • Leads the end-to-end management of cross-functional implementations/projects, including project plan creation, stakeholder engagement, managing cross-functional relationships to drive collaboration, edge case mitigation, and on-time completion. 
  • Evaluates overall departmental performance by creating, gathering, analyzing and interpreting data and metrics as well as assisting in development of departmental metrics and implementation of mitigation strategies.
  • Collaboratively works with all relevant internal and external stakeholder groups to formulate proactive implementation, communications, and program strategies for successful change management and risk mitigation initiatives. 
  • Identifies potential project risks and develops comprehensive contingency plans to mitigate them, while effectively communicating any barriers or challenges to leadership to ensure informed decision-making and project success.
  • May oversee team members directly as well as mentors team members and promotes colleagues’ growth and professional development.
  • Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in program management
  • 3+ years of experience in delivering projects / programs

About the role

About the role:

Oscar Medical Group currently runs a Virtual Health Assessment (VHA) program that outreaches and virtually engages Oscar Health Insurance members in an evaluation and management visit. The program is designed to 1) Outreach members who are more chronically ill based on historical and/or suspected health information and 2) Engage members who have a lower probability of regularly seeing their PCP. Top priorities of the VHA program are to identify areas in the member's medical journey that can be improved by increasing their access to care with a licensed provider. During the VHA appointment the licensed provider will perform preventative care screenings, complete medication reconciliation, diagnose medical conditions and provide health coaching, referrals and treatment when clinically appropriate. This role will also help to support teams across Oscar Medical Group, including but not limited to, Virtual Primary Care and Virtual Urgent Care when needed.
