Job Description

The Sales Development Rep (SDR) will initiate, qualify and develop new business leads for the Account Executive sales team at RedIron. The SDR will work with the Account Executives to create and prioritize their business target market, position our value proposition and generate attention and interest for our products and services amongst our target market.

The SDR is accountable for generating qualified leads, which they will pass over to the Account Executives to close.

The ideal candidate will possess a desire to develop their professional selling skills and must be a fit for our entrepreneurial, team-based culture.

Responsibilities

1. Quota Attainment – “hunter” mentality, will meet / exceed monthly / quarterly sales lead objectives.

2. Territory Planning – will develop and document strategy to build pipeline of leads within defined target prospects.

3. Demand Generation – will create demand for RedIron services within a defined territory.

4. Lead and Progress the contact strategy – will drive the communication /contact process through to completion.

5. Weekly Reporting and Funnel Management – will complete all weekly pipeline and activity reporting in accordance with RedIron’s forecasting cadence.

Job Description

Demonstrate ability to plan, de-conflict, and manage implementation activities for projects

Assist in Operations to Service handoff documents to support (Work more closely with QA and become a TA)

Handle customer User Acceptance, Outage Notification, and Change Control procedures and documentation

Process design conversations, keeping with best practices

Analyze system and compile system changes for performance tuning and adjustments needed by software or customer needs

Participates in the examination of the feasibility of projects during the project preparation phase for technical content and gaps

Coordinates the entrusted priority investment projects during the project implementation phase

Manages and coordinates the work of subordinates during the project implementation phase, develops effective cooperation with businesses and functional organizations

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma usually in computer science, computer systems engineering, software engineering or mathematics or Completion of a college program in computer science is usually required. 

Communication skills - both written and presentation skills

Be accountable and with a strong sense of ownership

Review system issues and act on them

Client-facing problem solver with a strong technical background

Manage Configure changes and upgrade software systems

Demonstrate the ability to communicate technical concepts

Demonstrate the ability to act independently while working with remote hands

Strong Project Management and Communication skills with the ability to work closely with Team members

Proficiency in Linux, SQL, Jira, Git/BitBucket, AWS, OCI, and other cloud platforms

Commercial Deployment Automation Tools

Knowledge in build systems support Jenkins/Bamboo/Maven

Job Description

Test databases, correct errors, and make necessary modifications. Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard information in files. Modify existing databases and database management systems. Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database to management system, or direct others in coding descriptions. Perform all aspects of Oracle database administration. Actively participate in the daily Operational activities of customer databases. Monitor production, test, and development database environments and actively pursue any issues limiting the performance, scalability, and availability of these systems. Database bug resolution, address database security vulnerabilities. Analyze trends, report potential problems or areas of improvement concerning internal and customer databases. Performance tuning by analyzing Oracle AWR, ADDM, ASH reports. Setup, Configure and support Physical Standby (Active Data Guard) databases for high availability with proficiency in failover/switchover mechanisms. Setup, Configure Oracle database backups via Recovery Manager (RMAN) utility for Disaster recovery. Manage Database users, roles, and privileges. Provide Technical support to Customers. Plan Database refreshes from Production to non-prod environments to test application changes. Engineer migration plan for Oracle Databases from on-premises environments to AWS and devise suitable approach. Improve Database query workflow via implementing Oracle Table partitioning. Work on Oracle Export Import Utility (Classical & Data Pump) for Object level granular migration. Validate Oracle Database objects code and error corrections. Engineer parameters modifications in Database Management Systems. Automate Statistics collection against Enterprise Database servers to ensure Data dictionary views/tables/schemas are all current. Work closely with DevOps teams to review CPM backups periodically and to establish continuous delivery to Development teams. Devise learning curve via Test cases/Database Proof of Concepts. Participate in Managed Services on-call rotation.

Qualifications

B.S. degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field plus 5 years of experience with Oracle databases and knowledge of Oracle database 10g/11g/12c and Oracle Middleware (Weblogic) 11g/12c, Oracle PSU patching, Oracle Database Performance tuning, Oracle Active Data Guard, Oracle database backups via Recovery Manager (RMAN), Oracle Table partitioning, Oracle Export Import Utility, Linux Shell Scripting, Postgres RDBMS.
