POSITION SUMMARY: 
The Human Resources Generalist plays a crucial role in fostering a positive work environment by managing various human resources functions, including worker's compensation, employee relations, compliance, recruitment and onboarding. This position requires a versatile HR professional who can handle a broad range of duties, ensuring that HR practices align with the organization’s goals and legal requirements.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
  • $80K-$88K annually, based on relevant experience to the role, plus bonus. Full-time hours.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
  •          Provides HR support to Peacock Gap, Tri-Valley and West Wind businesses. 
  •         Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding workplace issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution of conflicts and concerns. 
  •         Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture through proactive communication and problem-solving.
  •         Administer and manage worker’s compensation claims company wide, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and timely resolution of claims. 
  •         Work closely with insurance providers and employees to facilitate smooth claim processing and return-to-work programs.
  •         Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, create job descriptions, and manage the recruitment process. 
  •         Support the performance management process by assisting in the development of performance appraisals, coaching managers on effective feedback, and helping to implement performance improvement plans as needed.
  •         Ensure the organization’s HR policies and procedures are in line with federal, state, and local regulations. Stay updated on labor laws and regulations, and advise management on necessary adjustments to company policies.
  •         Maintain accurate HR records and generate reports on HR metrics.
  •         Use data to make informed recommendations.
  •         Demonstrate good judgment & decision-making ability with leadership qualities.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
  •        Minimum of 4 years of experience in HR Generalist role, with exposure to employee relations and worker’s compensation. 
  •        Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  •        Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
  •        Prior experience managing Worker’s Compensation.
  •        Demonstrated experience in maintaining legal compliance.
  •        Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  •        Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. 
  •        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior leadership.
  •        Demonstrated ability to establish strong relationships with business partners.  
  •        Bi-lingual preferred, not required. 
  •        Proficient in data analysis and reporting, with strong attention to detail.

The Opportunity

About the Role:

We are seeking a Revenue Strategy & Operations, Senior Analyst to join our Revenue Strategy and Operations (RevOps) team.  The ideal candidate for this role is an analytical and strategic thinker who likes to roll up their sleeves to inform and execute our go-to-market strategy. You’ll collaborate closely with customer-facing teams, marketing, finance, and other functions to drive cross-functional Go-To-Market (GTM) projects, develop actionable recommendations based on data-driven insights, and champion operational efficiency and change management initiatives.  You’ll report directly to the Associate Director of Revenue Strategy and Operations (who reports to our VP of Revenue Strategy and Operations) and be a part of a global team with diverse skill sets and knowledge.

a. Analyze complex information, using both qualitative and quantitative methods, to inform and drive our GTM strategy and exceed our revenue plan

You have the following experience and qualities:

Professional experience

  • 2-4 years of experience in management consulting, corporate/BU strategy, RevOps, finance, BizOps, or similar roles
  • Excellence in Google Sheets/Excel, including building complex modeling and reporting methods
  • Excellence in summarizing sophisticated data and results into executive facing materials (e.g., slides, policy documents)
  • Clear written communication abilities in Docs/Word and Google Slides/Powerpoint, as well as strong oral communication skills

Overview

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Associate to join as a key member of our Corporate Finance team. In this role, you will drive financial forecasting, business planning, and strategic analysis. You will have regular dialogue with the executive team and cross-functional partners, while also supporting communications with the Board of Directors and our investors. This role will have a critical impact on our company’s near and long-term success by providing holistic, data-driven insights to support executive decision making around company priorities. 

As an Associate in Corporate Finance, you have analytical rigor, transaction execution experience, comfort working with a variety of functional teams, and the ability to consider the big picture while solving complex problems. You are a clear and effective communicator with a team oriented attitude. 

 

About the Team

The Corporate Finance team is an integral thought partner to Instacart's executive team, providing essential support for strategic, financial, and product decision-making, as well as external communications. We serve as the central hub within the company for financial forecasting, and are responsible for managing and tracking company performance with a focus on the bottom line. We also work closely with other teams within Finance and across the company in our efforts to drive positive outcomes for Instacart.

 

About the Job 

  • Drive creation of the company forecast and key related financial processes, including setting quarterly and annual financial targets, budgeting, bi-annual operational planning, and long-range forecasting
  • Leverage financial analyses, key performance indicators, and market trends to develop recommendations for strategic decision making on a weekly and monthly cadence
  • Work closely with senior leadership on big picture topics such as evolving overall company strategy and evaluating strategic scenarios, utilizing knowledge of financial drivers, return on investment frameworks, sensitivity analysis, and tradeoffs vs. opportunities
  • Build strong collaborative relationships with stakeholders within the Finance org, as well as various other functions across the company
  • Develop business narrative to support communications with the Board of Directors and investors
  • Create new processes or improve existing processes relating to financial planning and reporting

 

About You

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business/Economics, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics or other related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in a relevant field with demonstrated financial acumen and a track record of leveraging data for business impact
  • Strong attention to detail and project management / organizational skills
  • Polished communication skills and comfort articulating complex concepts and ideas concisely a variety of audiences
  • Ability to effectively build and maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders across an organization
  • A self-starter with a positive attitude and ability to work in a fast paced and evolving environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in investment banking, consulting, equity research, investing, data science, or FP&A / Corporate Finance / Strategic Finance at high-growth technology company 
  • High proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting
  • SQL or other data analysis experience

Pay Transparency:

The base pay for this role in the states of California, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, and Washington is: $144,000 - $189,000 per year. Responsibilities

  • Optimize Oscar direct (off-exchange) enrollment channel and ensure core processes scale with our membership growth and entrance to new markets and customer segments including ICHRA
  • Responsible for all eligibility and billing business rules for direct enrollment channel and ensure all policies and procedures are documented and adhered to by processing teams
  • Partner with tech on developing enrollment and billing file-feed specifications and APIs, and support implementation with external platform partners (e.g. ICHRA and QSHERA administrators)  
  • Manage reconciliations of enrollment and financial data with integration partners and develop methodology to monitor and optimize data accuracy and other performance standards 
  • Act as an internal and external thought partner on all matters related to direct enrollment channel and partner integrations, including engaging with external operational partners at exchanges, administration platforms, and industry trade groups 
  • Support external partnerships with consultants, administrators, and others as needed to support business growth objectives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or commensurate 4 years of experience
  • 7+ years experience with 4+ of those years in an operational role in the healthcare industry supporting health plan enrollment, billing or related administrative functions

This role will collaborate with said Flywire product and engineering, implementation teams, and with relationship managers to act as a bridge between Technical Support and relevant teams.

  • Manage and complete tickets received from customers and other departments involving Flywire WPM, SFS, and eStore product suites. Act as a first escalation point for the team members for the complex problems and queries related said products
  • Effectively manage product enhancements / bug fixes with respective product and engineering teams to reduce to resolve customer and common technical support issues
  • Act as a lead on incident management, projects, and collaborate with internal teams
  • Responsible for working with team members and cross functional team on improving quality and throughput of the customer requests and meet SLA matrix
  • Able to communicate clearly, concisely, and with confidence any complex queries with customers via email or over the phone

Qualifications

Here’s What We’re Looking For:  

  • At least 4 years of experience providing engineering support to customers and  in communicating clearly and concisely with internal and external customers
  • At least 4 years of experience with supporting SaaS applications
  • At least 3 years of experience in customer support tools such as Zendesk or other related ticketing systems
  • At least 3 years of experience in Technical Support skills, like MYSQL, UNIX, HTML, Regular Expressions, and Shell Scripting
  • Required Degree: B.S. degree in a related Science & Engineering field, and having Master’s in respective field is a plus
  • Deep understanding of Web applications, HTTP / SFTP protocols, PGP / GPG encryption technologies
  • Highly motivated and talented troubleshooter that goes above and beyond utilizing all resources available to identify the problem and provide accurate explanations and proposed solutions 
  • Fluent in English, as it is the company’s working language 
  • Detail oriented and able to multitask
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and tools
