About the Role:

Bloomreach is seeking a motivatedStrategic Account Manager who loves driving revenue growth and successful outcomes for some of the world’s leading companies. 

In this role, you’ll be helping customers optimize their investment in Bloomreach’s market-leading, algorithm-driven approach to creating a truly connected customer experience.  You are passionate about growing your book of business with successful customer renewals, upsells, and cross-sells. You are a resource quarterback, partnering with internal teams (Customer Success, Product, Marketing, Engineering, Services) to drive meaningful results for your customers. Your job will be to:

  • Own the relationship with key accounts
  • Develop and expand business, through C-level relationships, across brands
  • Ensure renegotiation of contracts at point of renewal
  • Identify, work, and close upsell and cross sell opportunities

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Drive Bloomreach revenue growth with successful renewals, upsells and cross-sells growth
  • Use your digital technology experience to understand and discuss complex products and identify ways to optimize product performance
  • Leverage your business acumen to analyze key account metrics, develop strong customer relationships (IT, Marketing), understand customer goals, and identify opportunities for growth
  • Drive customer success, incremental sales, and secure renewals by partnering with Technical Services, Business Services, Support to drive successful customer outcomes
  • Operate with a sense of urgency with an outcome + results-oriented approach to customer success
  • Own a portfolio of existing accounts and take responsibility for their retention and growth (cross-sell and upsell).
  • Proactively own renewals in key accounts in cooperation with the Customer Success team.
  • Succeed in a team selling environment, partnering with solution consultants for maximum account penetration and coverage
  • Consistently forecast monthly and quarterly performance within a 10% margin of error from actual bookings
  • Stay abreast of industry changes and trends
  • Negotiate deals and contracts at various levels within the targeted account, with primary focus/importance on “C” and enterprise level negotiations

Professional experience

  • 6+ years of experience in Account Management, Customer Success, Sales or Consulting, leading large enterprise customers. Focus on platforms providing business value such as commerce, CRM, ERP, HCM, are a plus. Commerce or Digital Experience backgrounds strongly encouraged
  • Strong understanding of account planning and leveraging an ecosystem, including partners, internal stakeholders, execs, and others to meet objectives
  • Highly collaborative leadership profile. Action and outcome oriented
  • Martech | Adtech | Search knowledge is a plus
  • Subject matter expert in understanding the complex needs of IT and Marketing buyers - and leveraging that knowledge to build strong business relationships with executives. Must have executive presence and understand how to communicate with and deliver wins for executives
  • Outstanding ability to use your written and communication skills to demonstrate SaaS investment value/ROI
  • Sales is an important component of this role. Must be a professional enterprise seller with a proven history of hitting and exceeding quota.
  • Knowledge and use of CRM and forecasting tools is required

The on-target-earnings range for this position is $190,000-$225,000. The pay range actually offered will take into account a variety of potential factors considered in compensation, including but not limited to skills, qualifications, geographic location, accomplishments, experience, credentials, internal equity and business needs, and may vary from the range listed above.

What you'll Do:

  • Reporting directly to the Manager, Account Management with a dot line into the Regional Sales Lead, the Account Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the campaign across pre & post sale cycle to drive revenue growth and department goals

    • Liaises between client and internal teams to address client feedback on marketing proposals and media plans to ensure optimal plan that adheres to campaign parameters and KPIs included in the brief 

    • Manages all pre-launch communication between client and internal teams including but not limited to setting timelines for approvals, deliverable needs, asset management, creative & tag casing to ensure client satisfaction and a timely campaign launch

    • Leads all post-launch communication including but not limited to aligning on KPIs/measures of success, troubleshooting tag or creative issues, delivery/analysis of campaign reporting, and gaining approval on optimizations to ensure full delivery and campaign success

  • Able to navigate independently from management - independent thinker driving key decisions for the deal across all touchpoints from quote to cash including upsell ideation and future program deal ideation 

  • Act as a product expert & SME (subject matter expert) across at least one topic across the Account Management team (example: Reporting, Programmatic, Social, etc.); Provides feedback on development and evolution of these topics - identifying and bubbling up any gaps in process, approach, or  strategy.

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Fluent in Spanish

  • 4+ years minimum professional experience in digital media at an agency/client/publisher prefer in an Account Manager or Sales role

  • Understands digital concepts and is up to date on emerging ad formats

  • Consistent and proven track record in successfully developing relationships and managing key accounts to drive revenue growth for partner accounts in a B2B environment

  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams across all levels including senior management

  • Proficient in Powerpoint and Excel with an analytical ability is preferred

  • Systems knowledge with Sales Tech and Digital Platforms (Salesforce, OMS, DFP, Moat, DoubleVerify, IAS etc.)

  • 25% travel may be required

Here's what we are looking for in this job

The Paid Media Account Manager is a full-time position responsible for the day-to-day management of our client's paid marketing initiatives. This includes Google Ads campaigns (including Search, Shopping, Display and YouTube campaigns), Bing Ads, Facebook as well as a secondary focus on AdRoll, LinkedIn and similar platforms.

Responsibilities:

Client Communication and Team Management
  • The Account Manager is expected to ‘own’ client communication, including email, face-to-face, and video conference meetings. They will present deliverables, campaign strategies, and tactics on a recurring basis
  • If available, the Search Manager will direct and lead all search optimization managers assigned to client account(s)
Strategy and Implementation
  • Understand the client’s product and their marketing objectives and goals.

  • Follow established Four15 Digital search process framework
  • Work closely with other internal and external departments to develop fully integrated search campaigns
Account Management and Reporting

  • Create and execute against the ‘optimization calendar’, which includes negative search term optimization, ad testing, keyword expansion, etc.

Skills/Experience Required:

        • Ability to travel (~30-40%) 

        Preferred Requirements: 

        • Experience selling to Enterprise CMOs, VPs Demand Gen, Marketing Operations, Sales leaders 
        • Experience closing $1M+ transactions 
        • Familiarity with marketing tech stack (Marketo, Eloqua), b2b publishers/media, data providers 
        • Strong and demonstrated written and verbal communications skills

        Base Salary Range: $145,000 to $155,000. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including but not limited to work location and experience.         Compensation, Rewards & Benefits:

        We are seeking an ambitiousCustomer Account Managerresponsible for developing & maintaining existing customer relationships. This role will proactively engage in the day-to-day management of the account including issue resolution. They will become the customer’s advocate within Acquia creating a positive customer experience that ultimately results in the renewal of the subscription. This role will work directly with Sales, Technical Support, customer success and Finance.

        This position is designed for someone who has a high attention to detail and strives for customer satisfaction. This is a great opportunity to hit a hot market with best-of-breed open source technology and be the front lines of our Account Management program.

        Summary:

        • Maintain account retention while providing exceptional customer service and developing client relationships
        • Identify and close new opportunities within existing customer base
        • Create and execute on a territory plan to drive customer retention and upsell opportunities
        • Coordinate with business users and procurement to ensure timely renewals
        • Update and maintain Sales database as appropriate
        • Generates trusted relationships with customers
        • Ability to manage multiple systems and administration at once

        Job Requirements:

        • 1-2 years of experience
        • Experience of interacting with customers and internal stakeholders
        • Strong leadership, teamwork, communication & cross-group collaboration skills
        • Must be able to proactively drive account retention with minimal oversight from management
        • Must be able to proactively identify expansion opportunities, create and execute new business opportunities campaigns
        • Can explain/present solutions in the context of the business requirement
        • Can identify expansion opportunities when speaking to a customer
        • Incredibly detail oriented, ability to manage multiple/conflicting priorities.
        • Ability to perform in a fast paced environment
        • MS Office knowledge including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
        • Experience with Salesforce.com and other CRM tools
