Job Description

The Principal Architect ("PA") will own the overall architecture accountability for one or more portfolios within IFS Technology. The role of the PA is to build and develop the technology strategy, while growing, leading, and energising multi-faceted technical teams to design and deliver technical solutions that deliver IFS technology needs and are supported by excellent data, methodology, systems and processes. The role will work with a broad set of stakeholders including product managers, engineers, and various R&D and business leaders. The occupant of this role diagnoses and solves significant, complex and non-routine problems; translates practices from other markets, countries and industries; provides authoritative, technical recommendations which have a significant impact on business performance in short and medium term; and contributes to company standards and procedures, including the IFS Technical Reference Architecture. This role actively identifies new approaches that enhance and simplify where possible complexities in the IFS suite. The PA represents IFS as the authority in one or technology areas or portfolios and acts as a role model to develop experts within this area.

The Role

The Backend Development team’s mission is to ensure Viva.com’s backend systems are robust, secure, and scalable. Tech stack 

Our backend tech stack is based on .NET, leveraging the latest versions of .NET Core for building high-performance, scalable APIs and services. 

  • Over 2 years of proven experience as a Backend Developer with a strong focus on .NET;
  • Understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful API design, and distributed systems;
  • Experience with database technologies, particularly SQL Server, including writing complex queries and performance optimization;
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Azure, and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes;  
  • Familiarity with implementing CI/CD pipelines, ideally using Azure DevOps or similar tools;

You will join one of our most important tribes and lead one of the teams there. The Tribe currently consists of two teams with a total of 11 dedicated people. We need your help to find smart engineers to grow the new team to around 4-6 people. You will work closely with two existing teams working in a distributed and international setup, as well as the Director of tribe who will also be your direct leader.

The team develops and maintains, among other things, the customer and translator portal, the workflow orchestration engine, an internal API and much more. We moved the product to the cloud and want to move to API first and there’s a huge roadmap packed with great product ideas that will keep us busy for the years to come. Our team handles both the Frontend (written in JavaScript and Typescript) and several backend micro-services including the data persistence layer (created using .NET 5 and running on Kubernetes clusters in Azure).

You’ll report to our Director of engineering, and you’ll work closely with our Director of Technology and two other Team Leads within the Tribe.

    Estamos buscando un desarrollador .NET con conocimientos en AWS para incorporarse en un proyecto estable en modalidad teletrabajo. 

    Requisitos

    Requisitos principales:

    • Microservicios en .Net y Web API REST con ASP.NET Core >= v6
    • ORM con Microsoft Entity Framework
    • Cache Redis u otros sistemas de cache clave-valor
    • Bases de datos NoSQL como MongoDB u otros, y relacional con Microsoft SQL Server
    • Contenerización de APIs con Docker o containerd
    • Arquitecturas escalables basadas en clúster de kubernetes
    • Utilización de API Manager como WSO2, Amazon API Gateway y Amazon Cognito
    • Autenticación de usuarios a través de un IAM (Identity and Access Management Server) y utilización de estándares Oauth, JWT, OpenID
    • ETLs con alguna herramienta de integración comercial u open source (SQL Server Integration Services, Pentaho)
    • Especificación OpenAPI con enfoque API First
    • Herramientas de logging, monitorización y visualización: ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Prometheus, Grafana
    • Experiencia en aplicaciones desplegadas en la nube de AWS

    • Diseñar y crear pruebas unitarias para el código de las aplicaciones
    • Garantizar que las aplicaciones tengan el mejor rendimiento, calidad y capacidad de respuesta posibles
    • Identificar cuellos de botella y errores existentes según los estándares de la empresa.
    • Idear soluciones para mitigar y abordar los problemas o errores identificados
    • Ayudar a mantener la calidad del código, la organización y la automatización
    • Proporcionar soporte para las aplicaciones web trabajando en estrecha colaboración con los QA Engineers y demás personal involucrado en el proyecto resolviendo cualquier problema operativo o de codificación
    • Diseñar interfaces de usuario que sean funcionales e intuitivas para los usuarios del software
    • Asegurar la calidad del software a través de automatización de pruebas

    Requisitos

    NOTA IMPORTANTE: Solo disponible para candidatos ubicados en Perú.

    • Egresado en informática, ingeniería de sistemas, de software o carreras afines.
    • 2 a 3 años de experiencia previa demostrable desarrollando aplicaciones web con tecnologías .NET entre ellas: C#, ASP.Net Core, MVC, Net 8
    • Experiencia con servicios Azure Cloud: SQL Server, Blob Storage y Push notifications
    • Experiencia con HTML5, CCS3, JavaScript
    • Razor ViewComponents, SignalR
    • Principios SOLID
    • Experiencia con lenguaje SQL, SQL Server
    • Conocimientos de LINQ y Entity Framework 
    • Conocimientos en servicios Web (REST)  
    • Conocimiento de herramientas de control de versiones como GIT  
    • Conocimiento y experiencia con pruebas unitarias  
    • Dominio avanzado del inglés, tanto escrito como conversacional

    About the opportunity

    Reporting into Software Development Team Lead, you will help us conduct tests throughout all stages of software development to ensure quality of our software products. You will design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases and automated tests to identify defects and ensure that our products meet the required standards.     • Closely working with software engineers, product managers, business analyst to drive the QA process, contributing ideas and process improvement
    • Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
