The Professional Services Leader is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving the success of professional services engagements related to the design, implementation, and management of a versatile cloud platform. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and leadership skills to lead a team of consultants and engineers in delivering high-quality services to clients. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of hybrid cloud architectures, Kubernetes, OpenStack, and cloud-native technologies, along with a proven track record of leading professional services organizations. 

Main Responsibilities 

Strategic Leadership: 

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership for the professional services organization, aligning with the company's overall business objectives and growth initiatives. 
  • Develop and execute plans to expand professional services offerings, drive revenue growth, and enhance customer satisfaction. 

 Team Management and Development: 

  • Lead and develop a team of consultants, engineers, and project managers, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration. 
  • Define roles and responsibilities, set performance expectations, and provide mentorship and career development opportunities for team members. 

Client Engagement and Relationship Management: 

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business needs and challenges, and recommending solutions that align with their strategic objectives. 
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention. 

Solution Design and Architecture: 

  • Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to design and architect hybrid multi-cloud solutions that meet business and technical requirements. 
  • Provide thought leadership and best practices guidance on containerization, virtualization, and bare metal infrastructure management. 

Project Management and Delivery: 

  • Oversee the execution and delivery of professional services engagements, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables, and allocate resources effectively to meet project goals. 

Continuous Improvement and Innovation: 

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery processes, methodologies, and tools. 
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, and incorporate them into professional services offerings. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration: 

  • Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, product management, and other cross-functional teams to drive alignment and support overall business objectives. 
  • Provide input into product development and roadmap based on customer feedback and market insights. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in professional services leadership roles, preferably in the cloud computing or IT infrastructure space. 
  • Deep expertise in hybrid cloud architectures, Kubernetes, containerization, virtualization, and bare metal infrastructure management. 
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and scaling professional services organizations, driving revenue growth, and delivering exceptional customer outcomes. 
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to develop and execute business plans and drive organizational change. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, internal teams, and executive leadership.

Qualifications

Your Experience

  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Expertise with Remote Access VPN solutions, IPSEC, PKI & SSL, TCP/IP, Authentication Protocols (LDAP, RADIUS etc.)
  • Experience working with Firewall Central Management Systems
  • Experience working with multi-factor authentication security system (tokens, certificates, CAC cards, and similar)
  • Working knowledge of Security services (IDS/IPS, Firewalls etc.)
  • Strong ability to independently debug broad, complex, and unique networks with mixed media and protocols required
  • Virtualization experience (AWS, Azure, VMWare, OpenStack) is a plus
  • Experience with Windows and MAC OS is a plus (Debugging, Editing Registries, Plist etc.)
  • Experience with Cisco, Checkpoint, Juniper (Netscreen), and Fortinet products is a plus

Qualifications

  • Four-year college degree preferred or work history equivalent (3+ years software engineering experience)

Your Tasks

As "Senior Engineer/Consultant - Audit and Compliance Public Cloud" you understand the latest developments in the field of Security & Cloud. You will ensure that compliance requirements such as ISO 27001, BSI C5, SOC 2 and data protection laws are audited and adhered to.

  • Further develop and monitor information and IT security measures.

  • Be a trusted advisor for information and IT security throughout the organization
  • Analyze security incidents and implement measures, risk management

Qualifications

Your Profile

  • Completed studies in a technical, engineering or scientific subject or comparable professional training.
  • min 5 years of professional experience in IT ideally with cloud technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with IT audits and certifications.
  • Detailed knowledge of software security concepts and data protection rules.
  • Experience in creating and mapping requirements catalogs.
  • High level of customer orientation.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of agile development processes.
  • Ability to assess technical solutions and come up with creative approaches.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.


You will be working in the European Union to meet our customers' data security and privacy requirements.
