About the role:

As a Staff Site Reliability Engineer, you will be a key player in designing, implementing, and maintaining our CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and monitoring solutions. Job Responsibilities: 

  • CI/CD Pipeline Mastery: Design, build, and optimize continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using ArgoCD, Jenkins, or similar tools. Ensure zero-downtime, fully automated deployment pipelines.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Build and manage scalable, reliable infrastructure using Terraform, Kubernetes, and other IaC tools. Ensure everything is automated—from deployments to monitoring—so that infrastructure becomes a self-service platform.
  • Cloud Expertise: Architect and manage cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure), focusing on cost optimization, scalability, and performance. Implement disaster recovery, fault tolerance, and high availability strategies.
  • Monitoring and Alerting: Implement comprehensive monitoring solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and Datadog to detect and resolve performance bottlenecks before they impact customers. Design and implement automated alerts for proactive system health monitoring.
  • DevOps Advocacy: Champion the culture of DevOps across teams—promote best practices, encourage adoption of new technologies, and drive a continuous learning mindset within the engineering teams. Be the go-to person for CI/CD, infrastructure scaling, and deployment automation.
  • SRE Mindset: Focus on building systems that are resilient by design, automating processes that improve reliability, and implementing Service Level Objectives (SLOs) to align engineering efforts with operational goals.
  • Security-First Approach: Collaborate with security teams to implement robust security practices, from container security to infrastructure hardening. Automate security checks within the pipeline for compliance and vulnerability management.
  • Collaboration with Engineering Teams: Work hand-in-hand with product development teams to understand their needs, integrate CI/CD practices into their workflows, and provide a fast, reliable, and secure path from code to production.

Skills:

  • BS in Computer Science or a comparable field of study, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience working with one or more of: Go, Python, Ruby, PHP, Java or Javascript. 
  • Experience with Unix/Linux systems administration using the CLI.
  • Fundamental understanding of TCP/UDP networking concepts
  • Solid oral and written communications skills.
  • CI/CD Expertise: Extensive hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as ArgoCD, Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitLab CI. Ability to design and implement pipelines that ensure rapid, reliable deployments.
  • Kubernetes Guru: Strong understanding and experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and container orchestration. Ability to scale and manage microservices in production.
  • Cloud Mastery: Proficient in at least one major cloud provider—AWS, GCP, or Azure. Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud architecture is a plus.
  • IaC Champion: Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation to manage infrastructure as code. Familiarity with GitOps workflows and version-controlled infrastructure.
  • Monitoring & Observability: Strong experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK, or New Relic. Ability to build custom dashboards and alerting systems.

  • Proven expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), with experience building and managing scalable, reliable infrastructure.

We currently seek a director of DevOps to join our technology team. In this role, you will lead a team of four web developers and one QA specialist, providing hands-on guidance and helping establish best practices in current and new technologies through code reviews and nurturing a team culture of technical excellence and innovation. The director will execute stakeholder projects across the organization in a WordPress development environment, as well as infrastructure projects for the DevOps team.

 

You willdo invaluable work:

  • Provide technical leadership for web developers in the coding of WordPress (PHP) websites, plug-ins, and SaaS customizations, implementing code review processes for increased collaboration and knowledge sharing
  • Mentor web developers in current and new technologies, providing expertise through hands-on guidance and recommending professional-development resources
  • Write testable, scalable, and efficient code in a WordPress development environment in support of organizational projects 
  • Establish and maintain coding and development standards, automating processes and standards where possible in collaboration with the DevOps engineer
  • Collaborate with the DevOps engineer in executing infrastructure projects, ensuring systems and processes are scalable, secure, and reliable
  • Collaborate with the QA specialist and developers of DevOps on establishing and implementing best practices throughout the software-development cycle 
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally concerning UX/UI design standards and integrations, collecting data as needed
  • Stay current with technology trends, introducing new technologies where appropriate, and ensure the DevOps team spends 10% of its time on innovation
  • Create documentation for newly developed features or processes, for both the DevOps team and the organization

Yourqualificationswill take our technology team to the next level:

  • Senior-level, hands-on experience in WordPress web-development, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript/AJAX, PHP, consuming and developing APIs, and change/release management processes
  • Minimum two years’ experience in a technical leadership role
  • Relevant certifications in computer science or a related field (a plus)
  • Experience in mobile-first development
  • Solid understanding of UX/UI and accessibility principles

Compensation and Benefits

Earn an annual salary of around $111,000–$115,000 (paid hourly), depending on qualifications. In addition to a collaborative and innovative work environment, you will be able to take part in our benefits package, including no- or low-cost health, vision, and dental insurance; generous paid time off and sick leave; and 401(k) retirement plan, with a dollar-to-dollar employer match of up to 3% of your annual earnings.

About the Department

The Cloudflare Customer Support Team solves complicated problems and answers technical inquiries via email, chat, phone, and social media. What you'll do 

The Cloudflare Senior Escalation Engineer will perform deep, technical troubleshooting for complex, escalated issues. This role owns the customer escalation process and works with various Product and Engineering teams to identify product bugs, network problems, and platform issues. Escalation Engineers foster a close relationship with SRE, Network, Engineering and Product teams. They act as an escalation point, isolate/replicate problems, and gather technical information/expectation.

  • Provide coverage (shift rotation including weekends) for technical troubleshooting of escalated issues

This cleared resource will be responsible for providing software configuration and customization including, but not limited to: screen tailoring, workflow administration, report setup, data imports, integration, custom scripting and third party software integrations.

This role will work closely with IT and Business teams to develop and enhance ServiceNow capabilities. The Developer may be responsible for UI, Workflow and Application development activities; facilitating rollouts of new applications, enhancements and new modules. The role will implement ServiceNow customizations including, but not limited to: Client Scripts, UI policies, UI Actions, Script Includes, Business Rules, workflow administration, report setup, and data imports. 

Requirements

  • Current Secret Security Clearance
  • 5+ years experience supporting the implementation, administration, configuration, and/or development of an ITSM tool.
  • 4+ years experience in ServiceNow development – experience should include scripting, tool configuration, design work, technical configuration, and deployment; specifically, candidates shall possess the skill to develop on the ServiceNow platform including the creation and/or customization of the core applications 
  • 5+ years with working or developing in any one of the following programming languages: JavaScript, PHP, C, Java, Perl, HTML or HTML 5.
  • Generating detailed documentation.
  • US Citizenship

Job Description

The System Technology Specialist will report directly to the support Manager Manager and work closely with support technicians, clinical and application specialists, engineering teams, and our clients to resolve the toughest technical issues. The System Technology Specialist is responsible for solving problems, sharing technical expertise and product experience.  This involves mentoring less experienced team members, as well as providing a practical perspective to product design discussions to ensure our products work well within the various client architectures. Since the System Technology Specialist will be the highest point of escalation within client services, he/she will also be expected to provide requirements for product supportability and maintenance.  The System Technology Specialist is also responsible for the development of tools for the Support team.

 

Major accountabilities

Act as the primary escalation point for Level 1 System Support team and drive customer communications and follow  ups until resolution, by respecting set service level agreements.

Act a major incident manager during system outages to support Level 1 and perform root cause analysis (RCA’s) for all Major Incidents

Participate in software requirements and root cause reviews with engineering as well as design reviews with a particular mindset  into the supportability of the software and also provide fixes and/or workarounds to issues found in the field

Stay up to date with current development of the product (bug fixes and new features) and situations occurring at client site (ISP)

Participate in the creation/update of Knowledge articles used by the Support Team to reduce escalations to L2

Be available for urgent escalations reported by the support team that can occur after your regular work schedule: On Call Rotation Availability (24/7)

Participate in any project deemed necessary by the organization

Qualifications

Employment Pre-requisites

Pre-requisite

  • Degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent
  • 5-7 years of experience in client facing roles focused on Technical Support in Medical Software Field
  • Linux  OS administration expertise
  • Experience running queries in SQL - an asset
  • Networking troubleshooting expertise (Cloud Infrastructure)
  • Development experience with scripting languages (PHP, Perl, Python, etc…)
  • Ability to read code  in other high level languages
  • Experience with PACS, DICOM or HL7 is nice to have
