  • Liderar la gestión y planificación de los proyectos, desde la conceptualización de los objetivos hasta la estructuración de fases y la definición de tareas.
  • Ser el punto de unión entre el cliente y el equipo técnico, coordinando los proyectos para garantizar que se cumplen los plazos acordados, los requisitos y necesidades del cliente.
  • Gestionar la comunicación diaria de los hitos a conseguir de cada proyecto con las partes interesadas tanto internas como externas.
  • Identificar oportunidades de up selling y cross selling en los proyectos actuales.
  • Participar en el proceso de mejora de productos de la empresa.
  • Mantener un alto nivel de conocimiento y tendencias del mercado.

Requisitos

  • Grado en carreras STEM,  Matemáticas, Estadística, Ingeniería de Telecomunicaciones o Informática.
  • Experiencia demostrable en gestión de clientes/proyectos de nuevas tecnologías y datos.
  • Entre 1 a 2 años de experiencia trabajando en departamentos de BI, gobernanza de datos o consultoras tecnológicas.
  • Conocimientos técnicos sobre tratamiento bases de datos (MySQL, Mongo), programación (Python) o relacionados con Data Science e IA.
  • Conocimientos en herramientas de BI (Tableau, Qlik).
  • Excelente capacidad de expresión oral y escrita.
  • Nivel alto Inglés (B2/C1). 
  • Mantener un alto nivel de conocimiento del mercado y tendencias del mercado de IA, IoT y Data.

About the Role

The Site Reliability Team’s mission is to design the next version of the core operations infrastructure that enables the success of all Thumbtack engineers. In this role you will be an integral part in designing high performance, high availability, high throughput, and reliable systems with the goal of minimizing service interruption, downtime, and latency. Site Reliability Engineering plays a key role up and down the stack to enable this transition as we strive to boost organizational productivity and velocity.

Responsibilities

  • Design, create, and maintain software to improve the availability, scalability, and efficiency of Thumbtack's services
  • Set the architectural direction of infrastructure and platform teams while supporting the engineering organization
  • Design and implement tools and processes used for deployment, change management, and incident response
  • Own, maintain, and continuously improve all systems provided as a service, such as monitoring, log aggregation, and datastores
  • Engage in service capacity planning and demand forecasting, anticipating performance bottlenecks
  • Participate in rotating on-call duties

  • Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in systems engineering, software engineering, or equivalent
  • Fluency in AWS and Linux
  • Expertise in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems across web technologies like: DNS, TLS, HTTP/S, TCP/IP
  • Demonstrable knowledge of docker, dockerfiles, container management and orchestration, and service mesh
  • Experience operating production impacting services in a high level programming language like but not limited to: Python, Go, PHP, Java, Javascript, or Scala
  • Track record of managing projects while communicating with stakeholders

Bonus points if you have 

  • Experience working with GCP

  • Respond in a timely manner to requests for intelligence (RFIs) from customers, ranging from threat landscapes, risk assessments, OSINT investigations, campaign analysis, or technical analysis, and support in the development of those RFIs to junior analysts.  
  • Create reports in English based on research discoveries publishing those findings in QuoIntelligence blog or ad hoc conferences. 
  • Support the fulfillment of client’s intelligence requirements. 
  • Identify new datasets to ingest and propose new analytics which can be developed to improve and/or automate portions of the intelligence cycle. 
  • Work with the Intelligence Operations team to identify, prioritize, and deploy various detection mechanisms for malware families and threat actor groups of interest.  
  • Use both internal and external data to find the best and most comprehensive answer to threat research questions. This may include using already developed external data pipelines or developing new collection methods according to research needs. 
  • Use both quantitative and qualitative methods of analysis to best answer high-priority research questions around threats. 
  • Support in the automation of tasks of the Intelligence Operations team in ad-hoc cases.  

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security, Security Studies, Intelligence, or a related field. Alternatively, 4 additional years of experience in a similar role. 
  • 3 years of experience in Information Security, particularly Threat Intelligence, Incident Response, Security Operations, Vulnerability Management. Demonstrable experience conducting technical threat analysis and research. 
  • Demonstrable research and analytic competencies such as blog post, conferences, or research projects. Prior experience in research or analysis is preferred, particularly as it relates to malicious cyber activity. Experience with structured analytical techniques, the intelligence cycle, and intelligence writing techniques and methodologies. 
  • Good scripting skills (python, shell, powershell, etc.) 
  • Good knowledge of the EU threat landscape and cyber threat activity, including actors, TTPs, and targets. 
  • Experience clustering and tracking multiple threat actors using techniques such as the Diamond Model of Intrusion Analysis 
  • Knowledge of indicators of specific threat actors, their cross-platform tactics, and how they evolve or change over time. 
  • Good knowledge of the different types of malwares and how they operate. Ability to perform simple assessments of malicious files being comfortable with basic static and dynamic analysis. 
  • Ability to create detection rules, and good knowledge of Indicators of compromise (IOCs) 
  • Excellent critical thinking and interpersonal and teamwork skills; ability to work with globally distributed team members and autonomy carrying out research. 
  • Fluency in English.  
  • Current holder of an EU Passport or authorized to work in Italy/Spain.

As a Federal Cloud Networking Operations Engineer you will help deliver 24x7 support for our Government Cloud infrastructure. 
This is a Weekend position from Thursday to Monday. The working hours are from 7:00 am - 4:00 pm Pacific Time.

What you get to do in this role:

  • Monitor network operations dashboards and respond to alerts and failures to troubleshoot networks to identify and resolve issues quickly.
  • Partner with project and program managers to meet overall timelines and resolution of issues.
  • Operate and troubleshoot networks to identify and resolve issues quickly.
  • Take a lead role in the engagement and mitigation of outage-causing events or issues.
  • Validate problem descriptions and perform detailed problem diagnosis; track and update problems in the trouble-ticketing system.
  • Perform non-critical investigations into functionality that is not working as desired.
  • Engage deeply in the sustainment function to proactively analyze network parameters such as capacity and availability to ensure issues are fixed before they cause an outage.
  • Review, consult and prepare for planned change introduction to production environment.
  • Partner with teams to plan and execute software code upgrades and device maintenance.
  • Partner with the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team to provide mentorship and input on operational process improvements.
  • Provide feedback to infrastructure architects on design issues or improvements and input into the design process for new initiatives.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:

  • The candidate should have a solid foundation in networking including routing, switching, security and load balancing. 
  • 4+ years of experience with cloud computing technologies (e.g. Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, etc.) across Windows and/or Linux
  • Azure Core Platform: Compute, Storage, Networking.
  • Azure Web Apps: developing, deploying, debugging and supporting web applications using .NET, Java, PHP, Python, Node.js etc. on Windows or Linux.
  • Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): using DevOps, Bit Bucket, GitHub.
  • Experience in one or more automation languages (PowerShell, shell scripts, Perl, Python, Ansible, Terraform) desired.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in working on Internet and data center networks.
  • Possess a solid understanding of and have experience with most of the following network technologies: BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, HSRP/VRRP, IPSEC, SNMP.

GCS-23

For positions in California (outside of the Bay Area), we offer a base pay of $109,400 - $185,900, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
