The Basics (Hybrid Role, 3 days in office in Durham, NC):

As a Tanium Software Engineer II focused on Full Stack, you will build andmaintainbest-of-breed services that power products as part of a nimble development team. Tanium focuses on a customer engagement model and feedback process to ensure our products are designed the right way from the beginning. 

What you’ll do

  • Build and maintain Tanium's backend services alongside an agile development team 
  • In partnership with our frontend and endpoint teams you will design, develop and test new product ideas from the ground up while working with product management for feedback and input 
  • Work on small teams that tackle big challenges in common components like a common data service tasked with unifying and consolidating endpoint data across the entire ecosystem, handling time series data that drive dashboarding and reporting, and exposing data externally through GraphQL enabling partners (like Salesforce) to easily integrate. 
  • Delivering higher level services enabled by our core services that directly enable our products. These services focus on everything from security to operations to auditing. 

We’re looking for someone with

  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
    • CS Degree preferred
  • Experience
    • 2+ years industry experience 
    • Experience working with senior developers designing and building high-impact, high-performance, scalable, observable, and maintainable backend services and APIs 
    • Knowledge of at least one of Golang (preferred), Node.js, Python, Ruby, Rust, or Java 
    • Experience with HTTP API development including REST and/or GraphQL 
    • Experience developing data processing pipelines for real time data 
    • Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms 
    • Experience with containers and microservices 
    • Experience with modern software engineering development and automation tools like git and CI/CD pipelines

    • Demonstrates sound judgment for balancing between rapid development, long-term code maintainability and supportability

What you’ll get

The annual base salary range for this full-time position is $95,000 to $290,000. This range is an estimate for what Tanium will pay a new hire. The actual annual base salary offered may be adjusted based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, location, education, skills, training, and experience.

Role Overview

The Storefront Team at Recharge is responsible for storefront widgets and backend services. These inject Recharge features; Subscriptions, Bundles, and Loyalty benefits into our merchant’s checkout experience. They handle 2.5M+ sessions per day and are some of our highest scale components in our platform. Checkout performance is critical to driving merchant revenue. As a result our widgets require high performance and stability.

In addition to the front-end widgets, the team is also responsible for supporting back-end services consisting of SQL/document databases, a CDN, event-driven messaging systems and REST APIs.

  • 1+ years of experience with a major modern Web UI framework (e.g. ReactJS, Vue)
  • Demonstrable cloud computing experience
  • Prior e-commerce experience preferred

You Have

  • 6+ years of software development experience
  • 4+  Experience with programming languages: Java
  • 3+ years of experience in development of Microservices, RESTful API, backend systems and successful production software systems
  • Strong Object Oriented design and implementation experience, strong knowledge of web protocols, and knowledge of distributed systems architectures.
  • Solid understanding of Data Structures and Algorithm Design
  • Experience with one of the following: Kafka, Elasticsearch, Redis
  • Experience in databases technologies like MySQL, Postgres, Firestore
  • Experience with Git, Jenkins, and other Development tools
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advocating and executing on automated testing strategies in all developed code and helping to ensure code quality and consistency for your team. 
  • Experience working on large scale deployments and performance tuning
  • Experience developing cloud software services and an understanding of design for scalability, performance and reliability
  • Good to have Development experience with Unix, Docker, and Kubernetes infrastructure on GCP/GKE

Salesforce Developer

What You Can Expect to Do:

  • Serve as the technical expert on all aspects of the Salesforce platform, providing mentorship and guidance to peers and junior developers.
  • Work with a wide range of Salesforce products, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Health Cloud, Field Service Lightning, Apex Code, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce API.
  • Lead the development and deployment of scalable, maintainable Salesforce solutions for large client engagements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scopes, objectives, and success metrics, ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Drive the technical requirements gathering process during discovery sessions with clients, translating business needs into robust technical solutions.
  • Stay updated on new Salesforce features, releases, and products, continuously bringing innovative solutions to the table.
  • Conduct technical solution reviews and architecture meetings with customers and Penrod teams to ensure alignment and quality.

  • Effectively communicate technical challenges and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for self-improvement and growth within the Salesforce platform.

You’re a Good Fit If You:

  • Have 3-5 years of experience in a development or consultative role, with 2-5 years of Salesforce experience.
  • Are proficient in building Salesforce solutions and have experience with front-end development, pipelines, JS Controllers, web services, and script debugging.
  • Have a deep understanding of HTML, JavaScript (including Vue and React libraries), and CSS, as well as object-oriented development concepts and design patterns (MVC, Maven, Django).
  • Are experienced in working with relational databases (SOQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle) and can troubleshoot integration issues between Salesforce and client applications.
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to effectively convey information to various stakeholders.

You’ll Have an Edge If You:

  • Have prior experience with Health Cloud, Sales Cloud, or Service Cloud.
  • Are familiar with test-driven development and formal QA environments.
  • Have experience with various OO languages (Java, Ruby, C#, C++).
  • Hold a Salesforce Developer Certification.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • On-Target Earnings Salary Range: $95,000 - $125,000, comprised of base salary and bonus. The exact compensation package will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, and alignment with market data.

Intégré/e à notre agence de Nantes, vous rejoignezla Direction des Systèmes d’Information et du Numérique du Groupe ALTYN constituée des 3 pôles Applicatif, Technique et Cybersécurité, composée de 15 collaborateurs.En qualité d'Administrateur/trice Système et Réseauxvous renforcez l’équipe en place et accompagnez le développement ambitieux du Groupe.  

Sous la responsabilité du Responsable technique de la DSIN, vous avez en chargela mise en place des environnements techniques au travers de projets que vous pilotez, le maintien en condition opérationnelle de l’infrastructure et la résolution des demandes et incidents après escalade par le support niveau 1pour l’ensemble du Groupe ALTYN.

Riche de votre expérience, vous assurez d’un point de vue opérationnel le bon déroulement des tâches d’exploitation (sauvegardes, supervision des équipements, etc…). Aussi, vous élaborez les différentes procédures techniques et documentations nécessaires à l’exploitation de l’infrastructure.

Afin d’accompagner la croissance du Groupe, vous mettez en production les évolutions concernant les réseaux et les infrastructures(VLAN, règles de filtrage FIREWALL, mises à jour des équipements réseau, etc.). Expert/e dans votre domaine, dans le cadre de projets techniques, vous pilotez l’activité des prestataires et vous vous positionnez en tant qu’interlocuteur/trice privilégié/e. Vous vous assurez de l’avancement des projets, de l’atteinte des objectifs fixés (qualité, coût, délai) et vous êtes force de proposition dans l’améliorations de nos process.

Qualifications

De formation Bac+5 ou plus, en Informatique, vous témoignez d’une expérience minimale de 5 ans sur des fonctions similairesen tant qu’Administrateur(trice) Système et Réseau au sein d’une ESN ou d’une entreprise client utilisatrice.

Une expérience significative sur des technologies LAN/WAN/SD-WAN et le pilotage d’un infogérant est nécessaire.

Vous êtes familier/ère avec les environnements techniques suivants :

  • Réseaux SD-Wan / interconnexion et supervision de sites distants
  • Réseaux CISCO, VPN/IPSEC, Firewall FORTINET
  • Architectures Cloud (privé, hybride) / hébergeurs / infogérants
  • Ecosystème Microsoft (Active Directory, M365, Exchange Online, Azure, SQL Server, Windows, etc.)
  • Systèmes Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, Linux
  • Virtualisation VMware
  • Sauvegarde Veeam Backup & Recovery

Concernant les compétences opérationnelles, vous savez accompagner et encadrer des prestataires. Vous avez déjà piloté des projets LAN/WAN/SD-WAN.

Aussi, vous savezrédiger des procédures et avez une connaissance de l’anglais technique.

Un bon niveau d’autonomie ainsi qu’un sens de la priorisation des évènements sont également requis.

Rigoureux/euse, organisé/e et disposant d’un sens du service fort, votre aisance relationnelle et votre sens de la communication vous permettent de fédérer autour de vous.
