Job Description

We currently have a vacancy for a .NET Developer and fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Dublin, Ireland. The work will be carried out remotely for as long as COVID-19 restrictions are in place and, after that, on site at customer premises. In the context of this assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

 

Tasks:

  • Software development to support the development/enhancement and maintenance of business systems;
  • Upgrade systems to newer versions of the .net framework;
  • Supporting the development/support teams;
  • Provide Knowledge transfer to development/support teams;
  • Defining, producing & updating associated technical documentation;
  • SQL server database development (stored procedures, triggers), maintenance (backup, restore), testing and performance tuning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree or higher in computer science or a related discipline;
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience of application Design, development, testing and implementation of .Net applications;
  • At least 4 years’ experience with implementing .Net-based software using Microsoft .Net framework (version 3.5 and later), C# and VB;
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience developing .Net-based applications using MVC, JQuery and SQL Server 2012/2016/2019;
  • Minimum 2 years in development, testing and implementation with SQL Server Reporting Services;
  • Experience in asp.net CORE and classic ASP;
  • Experience in database development (stored procedures, triggers), maintenance and tuning;
  • Experience with Azure Dev Ops;
  • Excellent English command supported by a certificate under the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages at level C2 Mastery or Proficiency.

Job Description

We currently have a vacancy for an IT Technical expert with extensive experience in API Management, fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Switzerland. The work will be carried out at customer premises and some flexibility is expected regarding work allocation. In the context of the assignment, the successful candidate will be closely collaborating with the responsible officials and be part of the technical team.

 

Tasks:

  • Gather and document APIs and API Management requirements after in-depth consultations with all relevant stakeholders;
  • Implement a working API Management prototype based on an open-source solution (e.g., WSO2 or similar);
  • Work with other dev teams to include in the prototype a diverse set of APIs from the major stakeholders;
  • Integrate the prototype with security controls (e.g., OpenAM authentication server, log reporting);
  • Troubleshoot any technical and API issues as needed;
  • Engage all the relevant stakeholders and promote a knowledge-sharing environment;
  • Write a detailed technical proposal for a long-term API Management solution;
  • Conduct technical review activities to keep up-to-date with the latest practices and technologies.

Qualifications

  • University IT degree in related subject and at least 10 years of relevant experience;
  • Proven and extensive experience in designing, building prototypes and commissioning production-level API Management solutions;
  • Extensive experience with APIs, security standards, API schemas and directory services;
  • Software development background;
  • Hands-on UNIX/Linux experience;
  • Cloud/AWS knowledge and experience (AWS API Gateway, computing services);
  • Experience in troubleshooting complex API issues;
  • Experience with REST, SOAP and HTTP protocols;
  • Good knowledge of OAuth2, OIDC, SAML;
  • Hands on experience with OAS/Swagger, RAML;
  • Good knowledge of LDAP, Active Directory;
  • Very good knowledge and experience of at least one programming language and its related tools (e.g., Java, Maven);
  • Excellent communication skills; spoken and written English
  • Experience working in Agile is an asset.
