Requirements:

  • At least a Bachelor Degree in  Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent Bachelor degree required
  • 6-8 years of experience in the networking industry
  • Strong preference for at least 2 years as a product manager or technical marketing engineer. Prior experience could also include software engineering, systems engineering, or similar roles.
  • Industry/technology expertise is required in the following areas including across multi-vendors: Routing & Switching, Wireless WI-FI, 802.11x, Access Points, Multicast, VLANs, OSPF, BGP, VxLAN
  • Software development skills for solutions and extensions, including scripting capabilities (Python, etc) and API integration approaches (REST, JSON, NETCONF, etc), are required
  • Expert knowledge on or more of the following verticals is required: Data Center, Cloud, Campus, Media & Entertainment, and Service Provider
  • Expert knowledge of public cloud platforms and associated networking environments, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform is preferred.
  • Hands-on ability to build and test a variety of functional lab use-cases, for purposes of functional understanding, content creation, and product demos.
  • Ability to write extensive technical content (white papers, technical briefs, test reports, etc.) for external audiences with a balance of technical accuracy, strategy, and clear messaging

The VCA team is looking for a Director to join our consulting practice and play a role in developing high impact projects for Visa’s clients in the NA region.  This role is responsible for the digital marketing planning, implementation, and optimization of customer search, retargeting strategies that drive acquisition, retention, and engagement programs for our client’s card portfolios. CALSTART has an immediate opening for a highly motivated person to join our team as State Policy Director, a position with significant focus on the state of California. Reporting to the Vice President, Policy, the State Policy Director will support CALSTART’s mission through advocacy to secure government funding and new government programs, including the development of regulations to advance clean and zero-emission transportation that reduces air pollution.

The State Policy Director will:

Oversee state government relations and regulatory advocacy in the California legislature, key agencies, and the governor’s office:

  • Build and lead stakeholder coalitions on key legislative and regulatory issues.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key agency staff, legislators, committees, and committee staff (especially budget committees).
  • Advance Zero Emission Vehicles (ZEVs) by advocating for strong, practical, achievable and implementable regulations.
  • Encourage state agencies to develop and/or authorize new programs for ZEVs and ZEV infrastructure, including incentive programs, utility infrastructure/charging programs, and financing programs.
  • Support CALSTART’s policy thought leadership, further the legislature’s understanding of CALSTART’s mission and work, and support our members’ brand visibility through hosting an annual CA policy summit.

The Director will also:

  • Oversee all other state legislative and regulatory work in partnership with the regional directors.
  • Engage with CALSTART members on policy, lead policy action groups (PAGs) and coalitions. Track and share updates on policy with general membership informed on policy. Draft and submit formal comments and letters on behalf of CALSTART and/or PAGs.
  • Engage with utility regulatory commissions across the country to influence utility programs that support Commercial EVs and public charging, in coordination with regional office directors.
  • Support legislation in states outside CA and engage members on legislation in other states (e.g., NY, TX, MA).
  • Advocate for establishment of new state incentive programs
  • Promote CALSTART’s work with foundations to secure philanthropic funding for policy work
  • Supervise one or more employees in daily work

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required. An advanced degree in public policy, law, business, or engineering strongly preferred
  • 8 years of experience in clean transportation, sustainability, and/or policy advocacy and a passion for advancing the commercialization of clean transportation technologies
  • Expertise in California clean air, climate, and/or transportation policy
  • A comfort level working and communicating with diverse stakeholder groups
  • The ability to be a “bridge” between policymakers and leaders from the environmental community and industry
  • Strong ability and desire to find common ground and “win-win” policy solutions that advance the clean transportation industry
  • Strong interpersonal communications skills, that include listening and understanding the positions of various groups, as well as speaking/presenting in different situations
  • Ability to effectively communicate with technical industry stakeholders, policymakers, and environmental stakeholders, including public speaking experience/skills
  • Strong written communications skills, including experience with formal written comments (legislative, regulatory) as well as more general writing (white papers, policy memos, short fact sheets, etc.)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with executives
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and processes simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable learning about, understanding, and discussing new vehicle and fuel technologies
  • Strong facilitation skills with the ability to develop and manage events and workshops
  • Ability to use legislative and statutory research tools
  • Knowledge of state agency regulatory dockets
  • Knowledge of state agency “rule of practice and procedure”
  • Knowledge of CA legislative procedures, timelines, etc.
  • A passion for the CALSTART mission of working with industry to make air healthy to breathe and to protect the climate and environment

The Senior SRE-TL will join the SRE squad and will be  responsible for keeping all user-facing services and other production systems running smoothly. The Senior SRE -  Technical Lead will be accountable for the reliability, scalability and resilience of complex infrastructure components in terms of quality assurance and production. RESPONSIBILITIES

Team leadership, knowledge sharing & coaching   - 25%

  • Enforce an effective and efficient scrum process where all team members work in the same direction
  • Guide SRE engineers, when needed, to break down user stories into manageable tasks

  • Identify Service Level Indicators (SLIs) that will align the team to meet the availability and latency objectives

  • Anticipate the technical challenges the squad will face when delivering solutions and propose and implement  technical solutions to those issues

Ownership and accountability - 10%

  • Be accountable for performance, reliability, scalability and resilience of complex and critical infrastructure components (web servers, data stores, hosted services, load balancers, etc.) through the proper use of replication, sharding, load balancing, monitoring, SLAs, alerting, and auto-scaling
  • Be an active participant in the incident escalation chain and prompt resolution
  • Upgrade and patch systems as required while ensuring availability of service
  • Contribute to cross-squad initiatives, acting as a change agent amongst peers to foster adoption of new processes or technical solutions

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 8 years experience administrating Linux based environments (Red Hat, CentOS, Debian or Ubuntu)

  • A minimum of 8 years experience practicing continuous integration and continuous delivery
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with infrastructure automation frameworks in at least two of these technologies:, Saltstack, Terraform, or Cloud Foundation engine
  • Expertise in infrastructure to support a microservice architecture
  • A minimum of 4 years experience in Infrastructure-as-code specifically with Terraform
  • Strong knowledge of caching technologies (Fastly, Redis) with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Expertise with RDBMS (MySql, Post-gres) and NoSQL (DynamoDB, DocumentDB, Mongo DB) databases at scale
  • Proficiency in Cloud resources (AWS) with the ability to operate them for the components owned, Certification preferred

      •    Collaborate with Brand Marketing, Training, Legal, Regulatory, Analytics, Sales, and the Market Access field teams to ensure optimal execution of patient access and reimbursement strategies/tactics
      •    Represent Patient Access at Advisory Boards, Speaker Programs and other HCP engagement opportunities
      •    Proactively communicate and explain Exelixis patient access programs, policies, procedures and resources
      •    Provide appropriate patient access training, and hub support/education for sales/sales management teams, clinical teams and healthcare provider customers. 
      •    Support Sales Training initiatives  
      o    Patient access and reimbursement training for field sales new hires
      o    Regional Trainer Support
      •    Provide support to Franchise Marketing- subject matter expert on EASE and patient access/support programs
      o    OAM resource materials & promotional materials
      •    Field level support for Sample Program
      •    Provide patient access support to market access field-based teams (Payer, SP, GPO & Strategic Partners)
      •    Provide competitive intelligence regarding marketplace patient access programs and services
      •    Prioritize a demanding workload, work cross-functionally, and evaluate enhanced services to meet current and future needs
      •    Stay up to date and fully compliant with corporate compliance and regulations in a rapidly evolving healthcare environment  
      •    Contribute to the development of programs that support changing business needs and access to Exelixis products

      EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: 
      •    Bachelors degree in related discipline + 10 years of related experience; or
      •    Masters degree in related discipline and 8 years of related experience; or
      •    Equivalent combination of education and experience. 

      Experience:
      •    Minimum of 8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry, or experience with a Hub service provider or specialty pharmacy.

      Knowledge/Skills:
      •    Understanding of compliance regulations and guidance governing copay and patient assistance programs
      •    Understanding of commercial and government payer benefit interpretation
      •    Subject matter expert in Medicare Part D
      •    Experience in launching new products or indications, working in specialty disease area, oncology/orphan experience preferred
      •    Ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders 
      •    Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
      •    Ability to rapidly assimilate information, prioritize and manage to timelines
      •    Excellent analytical (qualitative and quantitative), strategic thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills 
      •    Excel, Access, and other database experience
      •    Possesses a strong knowledge of the biotech oncology business and can discuss issues from multiple perspectives

      Commercial/Field-based:
      •    Environment: primarily working indoors, performing clerical work or meeting with clients
      •    Ability to travel (up to 50% travel) throughout assigned geography to support patient access needs, provide Patient Access representation at speaker programs and both regional and national conferences

      As respected key player the Platform owner for Development & Integration leads and guides the flow of information between the various OLTP & OLAP system landscapes, provides advisory recommendations on application development & integration domain to functional and development team, supports ongoing development, project activities and delivers innovative solutions that will increase our operational agility and enable our continued growth.

      DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

      The duties and responsibilities of this position shall consist of, but not be limited to, the following:

      Your work will be in the space of for Design, Development, Deployment and Maintenance of Integration processes between & within applications and will be critical to the delivery of digital solutions to Jack link’s and its business partners all over the world and teams across the  organization

      As an Integration Technical Lead, you will be responsible for the analysis, definition, design, construction, testing, installation, modification, and maintenance of properly engineered information systems to meet agreed business needs:

      • Design and Implement – Integration processes between applications across cloud and/or on-premise by understanding business needs, defining high level integration solution architecture/design, conducting functional validation, reviewing test plans and executing full Agile from design through release
      • Ensure completed modules provide all functionality described by application experts and meet performance guidelines
      •  Be a Team Player – work in a collaborative team-oriented environment, share information, value diverse ideas, interact with customer, partner with cross functional and remote teams

      Qualifications

      REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

      • 5 - 8 years of experience in the field of Business Systems, IT and integration
      • 6-10+ years of SAP ABAP Development experience, SAP Process
      • Orchestration (SAP PO)  & B2B integration
      • Working experience including ABAP Restful Application programming & ABAP on HANA
      • Working experience with development technologies that are offered through SAP Business Technology Platform for Integration & Extensibility concepts and SAP Intelligent technologies including Machine Learning, Intelligent Robotic Process Automation, Blockchain, and IoT
      • 5+ years of experience in a Technical Lead role including experience with design, development and deployment of integration processes between applications in an enterprise or SaaS environment
      • Working knowledge with Analysis, Design, and Implementation including SAP ABAP, SOA, Web services, XML/HTTP, REST HTML, Servlets and APIs
      • Hands on design, development, deployment and maintenance of integration processes between applications across cloud and/or on-premise using  API management tools including Cloud and Application Integration and  Enterprise web services
      • Managing, Monitoring, Sustaining, Troubleshooting and supporting existing Integrations and API management platforms
      • Interface with both internal/external technical experts to drive system solution
      • Provide technical expertise and peer code reviews to other team members
      • Responsible for establishing best practices in services development, integration of applications and govern detailed designs
