About the role:

Samsara is looking for a Sales Operations Specialist to play a critical role in scaling systems. Processes and policies for our Global sales organization. The ideal candidate has experience at a high-growth B2B Saas company and is passionate about being part of a fast-paced, fast-growing company.

In this role, you will: 

  • Partner with our Sales teams to develop strategies to enable our Global sales team to scale effectively, including process optimization, process redesign, or development of new process/policies
  • Develop operational measurements to identify business process issues and provide recommendations and solutions to business issues. Identify key opportunities for improvement through analytics, qualitative insights and cross-functional partnership
  • Partner with the Salesforce Systems team to automate workflows and enhance systems processes by providing business requirements and considerations, conducting UAT testing, and supervising Sales communications 
  • Oversee governance of all Sales Policies across a global sales team; run routine audits to verify compliance at all levels; maintain key documentation regarding our policies and sale processes
  • Assist with administering all sales systems, including SFDC, telephone queues, 3rd party software providers, and proprietary software tools
  • Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices

Minimum requirements for the role:

  • 4-8 years of experience in a sales operations role or experience in similar growth or operations roles in a dynamic environment
  • Strong organizational skills and business judgment with the ability to handle projects with little to no supervision end-to-end
  • Excellent communication and critical thinking skills to understand sales policies and processes at a company and customer sales rep level
  • Bachelor's degree or higher from a top university; business, finance, economic, business, or engineering focus is a plus; MBA is optional
  • Experience as a Salesforce administrator is a plus but not required

Samsara’s Compensation Philosophy:Samsara’s compensation program is designed to deliver Total Direct Compensation (based on role, level, and geography) that is at or above market. We do this through our base salary + bonus/variable + restricted stock unit awards (RSUs) for eligible roles.  For eligible roles, a new hire RSU award may be awarded at the time of hire, and additional RSU refresh grants may be awarded annually. 

We pay for performance, and top performers in eligible roles may receive above-market equity refresh awards which allow employees to achieve higher market positioning.

The range of annual base salary for full-time employees for this position is below. Please note that base pay offered may vary depending on factors including your city of residence, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
$74,375$125,000 USD

About the team:

The Business Systems team within Revenue Operations is responsible for improving operational excellence in the systems used by our customer facing teams. In this role, you will have the opportunity to directly impact productivity of our sales team by driving the implementation of new quote-to-cash system functionality and enhancements. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Analyst to join our growing team and drive improvements by collaborating with sales, IT, finance, legal, pricing, and partner teams to drive sales productivity. 

About the role:

Project Engagement:

  • Drives effective discovery sessions to capture as-is and to-be process flows in a consistent and reusable format. Requires minimal time from stakeholders to capture explicit and implicit steps. Identifies and raises process gaps or deviations across sub-groups. Uses critical thinking to propose alternatives when appropriate.
  • Writes user stories that enable IT to scope a solution with minimal unknowns and assumptions. Works collaboratively with team members to ensure proposed solutions will meet business requirements. Operates with transparency to give stakeholders visibility into progress and delivery status. Knows when to pull in additional resources into stakeholder discussions (complex or high risk requests, not just because a stakeholder requested it). Facilitates productive conversations about alternatives.
  • Supports and sometimes lead key meetings to run system demos, user acceptance testing, and end user training
  • Leverages deep understanding of stakeholder group's responsibilities and needs to advise on to-be state.
  • Ensure the relevant parts of the business are ready for each release that impacts them. Lead and/or organize necessary meetings to deliver system demos, perform user acceptance testing, and end user training.

Functional Expertise:

  • Uses a strong familiarity of the core system capabilities, core sales process, and our roadmaps to identify conflicts or requirement overlaps with adjacent domains. Knows when to dig deeper and knows the questions to ask to get to the details that our platforms and systems teams need to solution/build.
  • Deep familiarity of core systems/process and all related system capabilities leveraged by stakeholders. Anticipate and resolve conflicts. Minimal need for back-and-forth churn between stakeholders and builders

Prioritization:

  • Trusted advisor to stack rank priorities that reflect the stakeholder group’s needs.
  • Backlog owner for each stakeholder group's user stories, ensuring questions from builders are answered and user stories are ready prior to sprint planning.

Testing:

  • Collaborate with developers to test and verify that the solution meets the business requirements. Writes test scripts and executes testing
  • Outlines testing plans to enable designated testing resources to conduct testing with minimal clarifications

Documentation:

  • Maintains an up-to-date process flow repository for each supported stakeholder group, expediting as-is/to-be gap analysis efforts.

Examples of desirable skills, knowledge and experience:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Business Systems, Product Management, Sales Operations, or IT with a track record of successfully optimizing global systems and processes.
  • Experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner for quote-to-cash systems in a high-growth environment with 500+ users
  • Familiarity with the quote-to-cash technical requirements of sales, legal, finance, billing, and partner teams
  • Strong understanding of the technology industry and the challenges associated with managing global operations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

In this role, you will: 

  • Support multi-year growth efforts by driving research to inform how we build our sales capacity. 
  • Generate insights based on historical trends in order to inform investment of GTM resources.

Samsara’s Compensation Philosophy:Samsara’s compensation program is designed to deliver Total Direct Compensation (based on role, level, and geography) that is at or above market.   • Maintain and review complex schedules to ensure accuracy of open Accounts Receivable balances.
  • Review and enhance the monthly balance sheet account reconciliations on an ad-hoc basis for Revenue related accounts and assists the Finance Team in researching differences.
  • Use financial and accounting experience and acumen to analyze and interpret data to make any recommendations on possible courses of action as appropriate.
  • Effectively engage with the team to successfully complete multiple and diverse deliverables.
  • Develop, implement and maintain desktop procedures for on-going revenue accounting activities.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4+ years as a revenue accountant or a similar role, demonstrating progressive responsibility and leadership in revenue accounting functions, preferred 2+ years in a public accounting role.
  • Experience with Sage Intacct, Inmar, and Floqast.

Salary Range: $92,850 - $123,800

Travel: Yes. Up to 15% of the time.

Location Requirement:Employment at Alto is limited to individuals residing in the following states: Washington, California, Nevada, Colorado, Texas, and New York.

ABOUT THE ROLE ????‍♀️

As a Lead Product Designer on the Platform team at Rocket Money, you will be a key player in defining the design and user experience of our app. This role combines hands-on design work with leadership responsibilities, allowing you to guide and mentor designers while maintaining ownership of critical platform features such as our onboarding flows, Rocket Money Premium integration, bank linking, and account management functionality. Collaborating closely with product and engineering teams, you will ensure seamless, intuitive user experiences that align with our customers' needs and our company goals. As a senior member of the design team, you will not only shape the aesthetic and functional aspects of various product features but also contribute significantly to the overall user experience strategy.

Specifically, you will:

  • Lead and collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to refine and implement Rocket Money's platform features.
  • Mentor designers, providing guidance and feedback to help them grow professionally.
  • Own, manage, and innovate within major feature areas of the Rocket Money application, ensuring high-quality user experiences.
  • Foster partnerships with sister companies within Rocket to drive product cohesion and innovation.
  • Design, create, and test prototypes alongside the Research team to validate user needs and refine design solutions.
  • Drive continuous innovation, proposing new ways for users to engage with Rocket Money's services and improving the overall design process.

ABOUT YOU ????

  • You have at least 8 years of experience in user experience design or a similar role, with a demonstrated track record of impactful design solutions and effective team leadership.
  • You are proficient in Figma (our tool of choice at Rocket Money), though experience with similar tools like Sketch is also highly valued.
  • You are not only an effective executor but also a skilled mentor, capable of leading initiatives from concept to completion while guiding other team members.
  • You embody empathy and leadership, considering the impact of your designs on users while fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • You are a strategic thinker and problem-solver, thriving on tackling challenges and finding innovative solutions while mentoring others to do the same.
  • You maintain an open mind and are willing to mentor and lead by example, compromising when necessary for the project's success and team growth.
  • You excel in a collaborative environment, not only sharing your work but also encouraging and critiquing the work of others to refine and enhance outcomes.
