Alto is seeking a dynamic Vice President, Principal Accounting Officer to lead our financial reporting, SEC, general ledger accounting, payroll, tax, treasury and accounts payable teams. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation is required.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role in an inventory-heavy company, pharmacy industry experience is a plus.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Revenue Accountant to be a key member of our quickly growing Revenue Team. The Revenue Accountant will be proficient  working independently, coordinating with their accounting peers, and maintain strong relationships both internally and externally.   • Perform month-end duties including account reconciliation, computation of revenue/deferred revenue, accrual estimates, and review of revenue trends.

    • Daily/monthly invoicing and cash application for invoiced clinics.
    • Monthly close journal entries and reconciliations.
    • Identification of new revenue streams as needed- including sourcing required data support, appropriate GL application, journal entry/reconciliation ownership and completeness for financial review.
  • Interact with external auditors to gather relevant support and ensure compliance with internal controls.
  • Prepares period end close schedules and reporting for the Revenue accounting team.
  • Interact with key stakeholders outside of accounting including- members of the Alto Finance Team, internal Project Managers for contractual invoiced clinics, and external invoiced customer billing teams.
  • Maintain and review complex schedules to ensure accuracy of open Accounts Receivable balances.
  • Review and enhance the monthly balance sheet account reconciliations on an ad-hoc basis for Revenue related accounts and assists the Finance Team in researching differences.
  • Use financial and accounting experience and acumen to analyze and interpret data to make any recommendations on possible courses of action as appropriate.
  • Effectively engage with the team to successfully complete multiple and diverse deliverables.
  • Develop, implement and maintain desktop procedures for on-going revenue accounting activities.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4+ years as a revenue accountant or a similar role, demonstrating progressive responsibility and leadership in revenue accounting functions, preferred 2+ years in a public accounting role.

The Senior Manager, Inventory Accounting will lead our company's Inventory Accounting function including all inventory accounting, cost accounting and inventory control functions.   • Responsible for all aspects of inventory accounting, including system improvements and implementation.
  • Participate in month end inventory close processes including review of month end journal entries, preparation of fluctuation analysis, and reconciliation of inventory  goods received not invoiced.
  • Prepare summarized month end reporting for the senior management team around product costs, month over month and quarter over quarter improvements, and cost drivers.
  • Work with internal finance, engineering, and operations teams to strengthen the end-to-end inventory processes and inventory reporting, identify and implement automation efforts, and implement and document controls.
  • Prepare weekly standard costing / purchase price variances analysis including identifying and explaining variances to product costs.
  • Work with operations teams to analyze inventory for potential excess and obsolete reserves and make related entries in accordance with the company’s policies.
  • Implement three-way matching process and maintain accurate costing of all products and ensure compliance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes throughout the supply chain, while collaborating with cross-functional teams on owned processes, to drive greater efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage the overall physical inventory process, work closely with operations and auditors to ensure a robust inventory counting process.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to design / update  the internally developed inventory management software to ensure accurate accounting, controls, audit logs, data integrity, etc.
  • Act as point inventory liaison for external auditors for year-end audits, including preparing work papers for the auditors and analyzing data. Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in inventory or cost accounting management roles within high-growth companies, with a preference for healthcare industry experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in inventory or cost accounting leadership roles, overseeing various operational functions.
  • Experience managing high volumes of perishable inventory with a large number of SKU’s.
  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting required.
