The Americas (AMS) Go to Market (GTM) leader for Consumer Goods is a role that operates together with ServiceNow’s customer-centric industry transformation sales teams as well as with other key  functions within ServiceNow (i.e., marketing, product, customer success & implementation partners, etc.) to identify and verticalize the ServiceNow Consumer Goods industry solutions to the AMS market and to specific customers / buying centers. S/he will closely align with our Consumer Goods account teams to seed and develop strategic opportunities. 

S/he will serve as the main point of contact for the AMS based Consumer Goods account sales teams.  They will help our account teams to connect with more senior and C-suite stakeholders and take our messaging, communications and experience to the next level with an industry-based lens.   

The ideal candidate brings a powerful combination of: 

  • Consumer Goods industry experience acquired from working within a Consumer Goods manufacturer 

  • Working knowledge of how technology can and should be leveraged to drive transformation change in the Consumer Goods Industry 

  • Experience in a customer facing roll selling and delivering consulting services 

  • Held a Go To Market roll in an enterprise software company 

S/he will closely align with our core and solution sales account teams across Consumer Goods to seed and develop strategic opportunities based on the portfolio of ServiceNow’s Consumer Goods industry solutions. S/he will build trusted relationships with customer and partner executives, partner with sales leaders, and be a significant contributor to the revenue growth in our Consumer Goods accounts across AMS 

This leader is responsible for five specific areas of responsibility, including:  

  1. Customer Focused Pipeline Development: Operate as the industry expert for the consumer Goods Industry, introducing and educating executives and senior leaders to ServiceNow through leadership and participation with customers at industry events, executive business reviews, etc.  This activity should directly lead to new pipeline creation.  

  1. Sales Oriented Pipeline Progression: Partnering with account executives and their teams to progress pipeline by infusing industry expertise (solution, messaging, etc.) into account strategy, forming relationships with key buying center executives, and helping shorten deal lifecycles by helping the team highlight the business value and competitive differentiators.  

  1. Partner Development & Execution: Develop and maintain relationships with Consumer Goods practices within AMS based strategic partners to drive awareness, solution positioning, enablement and customer development.  Focus should be an accelerant for customer focused pipeline priorities.   

  1. Solution Design and Enablement: Identify new buying centers and use cases in Consumer Goods that would benefit from ServiceNow.  Partner with marketing to design and build solutions that our sales organization can bring to our consumer goods customers that will generate real value and enable our consumer goods customers to transform all parts of their value stream. 

  1. Analyze, Drive & Report on The Business – Analyze the AMS Consumer Goods business to understand trends, opportunities, needs, KPI impact and movement against goals, and use that to feed/fuel customer efforts within this sector. Utilize data to influence / change behaviors to drive results and reinforce high-yield actions.  

S/he is expected to “roll up their sleeves” and is equally comfortable devising a multi-year strategy to penetrate the local market while also updating a tracker with the status of existing opportunities and key areas of pursuit.  S/he thrives in a high growth, fast-paced environment, and can maintain a ‘north star’ point of view despite managing the urgent requests of a given day.    

 
A typical day involves equal parts brainstorming on how to go to market in region more effectively; presenting at industry and ServiceNow customer facing events operating as an Consumer Goods Industry SME; participating in c-suite engagement opportunities; working with Industry leaders and “Big Bet” account teams on specific customers; and regularly meeting with key partner Consumer Goods Industry leaders driving mature relationships that support opportunities and driving future pipeline.

  • 15+ years of experience in the Consumer Goods Industry with proven success in guiding strategy, operations and day to day functions within a Consumer Goods company, preferably at a large global consumer goods manufacturer.  

  • 5+ years in an IT/Technology function in an consumer goods company 

  • 5+ years at an Enterprise Software company focused on consumer goods accounts serving as a subject matter expert or in a business development, business consulting, solution consulting, or similar capacity OR 5+ years at a top tier consulting firm designing and driving transformational change for consumer goods clients. 

  • Exceptional presentation skills – in person, on zoom, C-level  

  • Ability to develop trusted advisor relationships with customers and sales organizations; demonstrated ability to advise and influence senior leaders, multiple teams / departments on strategy, messaging and customer engagement   

  • Experience producing thought leadership content and communications for an international audience  

  • Resourceful, self-motivated and able to prioritize independently shifting workloads in a dynamic, high growth environment  

  • Agile business mind; adept ability to work in a matrix organization structure with a highly distributed team, leading through influence and relationship-building 

  • Proven ability achieving revenue targets for an overall region and accounts, in partnership with direct account sales teams

Project – the aim you’ll have

Our client is a gaming company established to reform the national gaming system. Operating under the principle of exclusivity, its mission is to provide games responsibly, mitigate gambling-related risks, and ensure player protection while preventing fraud.

The company offers a wide range of games divided into three main categories: Lucky Games, Casino Games, and Betting Games. It emphasizes operating responsibly and contributing to a safe and secure gaming environment.

Position – how you’ll contribute

  • Lead the analysis of requirements and collaborate closely with development teams to define and shape deliverables.
  • Perform in-depth test analysis and define comprehensive test coverage while accounting for dependencies, limitations, and potential risks.
  • Design, update, and execute advanced test plans and test cases, ensuring optimal coverage.
  • Generate and manage complex test data through application logic or API requests during various stages of test execution.
  • Conduct robust API testing, including data extraction and validation, while understanding and testing API workflows comprehensively.
  • Identify and debug issues using application logs and system/service logs.
  • Evaluate and improve test outputs, ensuring traceability, coverage, and quality progress.
  • Develop and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, reports, and strategies.
  • Ensure that business requirements are mapped to functional specifications and maintain sufficient test coverage throughout.
  • Report detailed and actionable test results, document defects clearly, and follow up on resolutions, including verifying fixes and updating bug tracking tools.
  • Act as a quality advocate by working proactively with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Contribute to the improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance overall product quality.

Qualifications

Expectations – the experience you need

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in software testing, with a proven track record in manual testing.
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and the ability to improve and implement testing strategies.
  • Extensive experience in web testing, browser debugging, and cross-platform testing.
  • Proficient in HTML, XML, JSON, and comfortable with tools for testing tasks.
  • Hands-on experience with API testing, API workflows, and data validation principles, including a strong command of testing tools like Postman or SoapUI.
  • Advanced proficiency with UNIX/LINUX environments, including command-line operations and basic shell scripting.
  • Expertise with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Confluence).
  • Strong experience in Agile environments, with the ability to adapt to iterative development processes.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with an ability to mentor junior QA team members.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with distributed teams, emphasizing proactive communication and coordination.

Overview

Arkadium is seeking an exceptional and experienced Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join our Core Tech team.

This role is open to candidates based in Portugal. Business hours are 9-18 WEST (UTC+1). For candidates based in the Lisbon area of Portugal, this role will initially be remote. However, starting in Q1 2025, this role will transition to a hybrid model, requiring some in-person presence. For candidates located outside the Lisbon area in Portugal, a different cadence of in-person meetings may apply, depending on proximity.

For candidates based in Romania, you will be remote and onboarded as a full-time contractor through our international payroll provider. 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end development of scalable and high-performance full-stack applications.
  • Architect and design comprehensive and robust full-stack solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
  • Integrate back-end solutions with front-end web applications and games. 
  • Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications and APIs for live games. 
  • Support the needs of internal game teams to scale up their game development, including the creation of new tools.
  • Design and optimize database schemas, ensuring data consistency, integrity, and security.
  • Optimize application performance by identifying and addressing bottlenecks in both front-end and back-end components.
  • Implement and enforce security best practices for data protection and user authentication.
  • Lead code reviews and mentor other engineers to ensure high code quality and adherence to best practices. 
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation and technical specifications, ensuring ease of understanding and knowledge transfer.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and developments in web development and share knowledge with the team. 
  • Participate in agile development processes and contribute to team goals and objectives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years experience as a back-end engineer or full-stack engineer.
  • 5+ years working with server-side runtime environments (ex: Node.js).
  • 3+ years working with different JavaScript/TypeScript libraries and frameworks for both frontend (ex: React, Angular, Vue.js, Svelte) and backend (ex: Express.js, NestJS, Next.js, Remix). 
  • Experience developing server code in Golang.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects from start to finish.  
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor other engineers.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.  
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have:  

  • Experience working with a game back-end-as-a-service such as Nakama, Firebase, or PlayFab.  
  • Experience working on an online game serving thousands of users. 
  • Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes). 
  • Experience working with Unity or other game engines. 
  • Solid understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.

  • Proficiency in using documentation tools such as e.g., Microsoft Word, Confluence, Markdown, etc.
  • Familiarity with software development concepts, APIs, and related technologies.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and the ability to gather information from subject matter experts.
  • Basic understanding of federal IT and cybersecurity oversight.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of technical writing samples.
