About this role:


As a Full Stack Web Developer, you will work together with the Web Team to build and scale modern web applications in their full stack, including front-end, back-end, data storage and cloud architecture. You will contribute to bring value to the Command Center, our cloud platform where our users can manage robots remotely and visualize reports. You are eager to deliver high quality solutions by understanding agile development, collaborating with the team, and writing high-class and testable code.

You will be working alongside an experienced team of robotics veterans, software engineers, hardware engineers and product managers to help you along the way.


How you will make a difference:


  • Develop Full stack applications the front-end, the back-end, databases and RESTful APIs 
  • Collaborate with other developers to build and release applications
  • Design the technical specification to match product requirements and technical needs
  • Design and implement the processes, tools and automation for automated tests, continuous integration, continuous deployment, and monitoring for our web applications
  • Participate in Dev-Ops activities
  • Monitor and troubleshoot system issues 


Requirements


  • BASc. or Graduate degree in Software/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or significant relevant work experience
  • 3-5 years of experience with Full stack software development
  • Solid experience with programming languages (Javascript, Typescript, Node.js, PHP, Bash)
  • Familiarity with Web frontend frameworks (Angular)
  • Experienced with databases (MariaDB, MySQL, Redis)
  • Experienced with web servers (Nginx, Apache)
  • Solid experience with Linux-based operating systems
  • Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture, Kubernetes and Microservices
  • Knowledge of dependency management, tool-kits and system buildings for web applications (npm, apt, etc.)  
  • Experience with automated testing and continuous integration

Main responsibilities

  • Full lifecycle application development

Qualifications

Job Description

Our Stack

We build our software on the Microsoft stack. Our web-based platforms utilize modern JavaScript frameworks such as Blazor, Angular (mostly) and React (legacy) over a Microsoft .NET Core MVC application base. We implement RESTful WebAPIs to interact with our relational database systems (such as SQL Server) using the Entity Framework. These components work together to efficiently pinpoint natural gas emissions in a timely manner. 

Mobica is responsible for configuration of all above components into a working application which presents the customer on a map results of the covered area and leak detection mechanism to show where with some probability the leak is to avoid risk of leak extension or explosion. Applications are running on the Web as well as an Android environment.

Project is based on the Agile approach with iterations every quarter.
