In this role, you’ll dive into both the front and back end, managing and optimizing our WordPress site on WPEngine, and customizing elements on our BigCommerce storefront. You’ll keep our Symfony and WordPress applications running smoothly, squash bugs as they arise, and build new features to enhance user experience. This job might be for you if you’ve got…

  • A resume that wows us. We expect you’ll have proven web development skills involving front and back end. And we’ll also expect you to be skilled at working in the overlap between the two.

  • An encyclopedic knowledge of PHP, Python, Git, Semantic HTML, Javascript (> ES 2016), CSS & Sass.

  • Continuously evaluate and enhance the design and effectiveness of Cloud and Kubernetes security measures and establish an ongoing program to advance security and close gaps in our defensive posture.
  • Proactively characterize unauthorized activity and malicious behaviors in our cloud and container infrastructure and systems through code, testing, and automation
  • Develop tailored detection policies, perform testing, and implement automation to observe, evaluate, enhance, and review security information using SecDataOps and best practices.
  • Proactively integrate the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends to enhance security detection measures and generate intelligence driven hunts..
  • Work together with the engineering, IT, and other security groups to create solutions that are expandable and adaptable to protect Tanium Cloud against threats ranging from low-level actors to national cyber-threat agents.
  • Build, cultivate, and maintain positive relationships with internal customers to identify and facilitate solutions to increase the impact of the team's work
  • Be on periodic on-call for triage of critical events from detections and systems

We're looking for someone with:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • Utilize robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities to confirm our hypotheses using precise data and in-depth root cause investigation.
  • Experience using high-level programming languages (Go, Python) to produce detection-as-code, tools, and automations
  • Experience managing cloud infrastructure as infrastructure-as-code (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM, Pulumi)
  • Deliver high quality PRs daily using modern software engineering development and automation tools like Git and CI/CD pipelines (i.e. Jenkins, GitHub Actions)

GitLab is hiring a Contract Recruiter to support hiring efforts across our APAC Sales teams including Direct Sales, Solution Architecture, Customer Success, Professional Services, and Field Ops. 

Recruiters at GitLab create a positive experience for candidates and hiring teams throughout the recruiting process. They are key contributors to identifying opportunities within GitLab’s hiring processes, typically focus on work within the scope of their immediate team, and act on strategic decisions to influence the achievement of goals within their team. In this role, you will typically hold anywhere from 8 to 15 requisitions per quarter, depending on the complexity of roles, and focus on pipeline building and foundational excellence.

We are hiring a Customer Success Manager to support accounts in the West sales territory of North America.

The Customer Success Management (CSM) team focuses on the themes of align, enable, and expand. This role is responsible for customer adoption, measurable outcomes, customer satisfaction, and creating true customer advocacy. Additionally, the CSM team serves as liaisons between the customer and the GitLab ecosystem, streamlining collaboration with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Professional Services, and others. What you'll do

  • Work with assigned customers to build Customer Success Plans, establishing critical goals, or other key performance indicators and aid the customer in achieving their goals
  • Manage account escalations
  • Provide insights with respect to the availability and applicability of new features in GitLab as relevant
  • Support GitLab Services in identifying and recommending training opportunities
  • Establish a trusted/strategic advisor relationship with each assigned customer and drive continued value of our solution and services
  • Assist and provide expert deployment, operational best practices, and establishing a GitLab Center of Excellence
  • Assist in workshops to help customers leverage the full value of GitLab solution
  • Measure and monitor customers’ achievement of critical and key performance indicators, reporting both internally to GitLab account stakeholders and externally to Customer Sponsors and Executives
  • Translate customer product usage data into actionable advice for customers
  • Establish regular touchpoints with assigned customers per the established SLAs, to review progress against strategic and technical objectives

What you'll bring

  • Demonstrated progressive experience in a related function is required with direct customer advocacy and engagement experience in post-sales or professional services functions
  • Understanding of Git and typical branching strategies
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle and development pipeline

Recruiter Screening

Qualified candidates will be invited to schedule a 30 minute screening call with one of our Global Recruiters.

Hiring Manager Interview

The hiring manager interview is the first of the interviews with the Customer Success Manager team. This interview is with the manager of the team the candidate is applying to join. It is a 45 minute interview.

Panel Interview

The panel interview consists of several members of the Customer Success Manager team. It typically includes the hiring manager and 1-2 other team members. This is a 60-90 minute interview, with the following format:

  • A demo of GitLab based on the guidance provided ahead of the interview by the recruiter
  • General discussion and questions from the panel

Executive Interview

Conducted by the Director of Success Services, this is a discussion with the candidate as a final assessment interview to evaluate the candidate’s suitability for the role. This is a 30 minute interview.

Reference and Background Check

Once the candidate has successfully completed all interview stages with positive recommendations at each stage, GitLab will complete reference checks and a background check.

Recruiters at GitLab create a positive experience for candidates and hiring teams throughout the recruiting process. They are key contributors to identifying opportunities within GitLab’s hiring processes, typically focus on work within the scope of their immediate team, and act on strategic decisions to influence achievement of goals within their team. In this role, you will typically hold anywhere from 8 to 15 requisitions per quarter, depending on the complexity of roles, and focus on pipeline building and foundational excellence. 

Due to where the majority of G&A positions are being hired, the ideal candidate will be located in EMEA. 

What you'll do

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners and hiring teams to establish effective recruiting strategies
  • Engage in Full Lifecycle Recruiting, with a focus on developing a balanced candidate source mix (passive, active and referral candidates)
  • Develop and advertise accurate job descriptions to attract a highly qualified candidate pool
