Your skills:

  • Experience developing applications using .NET Framework (4+ years) 
  • Good knowledge of & hands-on experience with a Microsoft SQL Server environment (4+ years) 
  • Experience with software development processes, and all associated best practices, methods, standards, tools, and policies. (4+ years) 
  • Experience developing and maintaining WebAPI applications and services (3+ years) 
  • Ideally, you also have experience developing for Umbraco Content Management System
  • Good communication skills: communicate with clients and coordinate colleagues working remotely 
  • Good self-organization and structured way of working

    Job Summary

    We are looking for a software/systems engineer, who will serve in a client-facing role for the implementation of a large IT integration project.  Our ideal candidate has deep experience building, testing, delivering enterprise software, and is committed to standing up a shippable product as part of a diverse and high-performing team that includes client stakeholders, other software engineers, designers, QA testers, release managers, product managers, and infrastructure engineers.  The candidate is a clever problem solver, with a profound understanding of web technology, architecture and process and who is able to find consensus around workable solutions. 

    The candidate will have a leadership role on an Agile development team and ownership of Casebook Platform client-side codebase. Casebook Platform caters to all human services. The ideal candidate needs to have an engineering mindset, an exceptional appetite for cutting edge technological advances, and be enthusiastic about continuous learning. Casebook Platform follows cloud native architecture and software design patterns with state of the art Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment modeling. Additionally, the candidate will collaborate with design and product teams which includes client-facing delivery and implementation of the Casebook Platform for small non-profit organizations to large scale state and local government projects.

    What you’ll do (Responsibilities):

    • Provide technical leadership in the design, integration, implementation, and transition of enterprise SaaS human services system
    • Flexible design architectural approach to deliver configurability along the data creation, integrations, workflows, notifications, and data persistence

    In this role, you will:

    Minimum requirements for the role:

    • A strong educational foundation in Computer Science
    • 2+ years of experience working professionally on a software product team
    • Knowledge of designing, architecting, developing and monitoring full-stack applications at scale
    • Experience leading projects from design through rollout to deliver features to end users
    • Experience using data to investigate issues and make decisions
    • Currently residing in Canada

    An ideal candidate also has:

    • Experience with technology that captures, processes or displays images and video
    • Experience building complex, performance-intensive web applications
    • Experience building mobile apps with React Native
    • Experience building public-facing APIs

    Samsara’s Compensation Philosophy:Samsara’s compensation program is designed to deliver Total Direct Compensation (based on role, level, and geography) that is at or above market. We do this through our base salary + bonus/variable + restricted stock unit awards (RSUs) for eligible roles.  For eligible roles, a new hire RSU award may be awarded at the time of hire, and additional RSU refresh grants may be awarded annually. 

    We pay for performance, and top performers in eligible roles may receive above-market equity refresh awards which allow employees to achieve higher market positioning.

    Agile Six is looking for a Senior Full Stack Drupal Engineer to join a highly collaborative Agile team. Our team works with the Department of Veterans Affairs to drive improvements to the Veteran experience across their digital platform, VA.gov.

    Our ideal candidate has extensive recent Drupal experience with Drupal 9 and 10 and a strong grasp of object oriented principles of PHP.     Our work:

    VA utilizes Drupal as an API which serves data to a number of systems. This team’s mission is to provide a modernized, accessible, single source of truth about available VA locations, services, and benefits to Veterans, as well as to provide a modernized, accessible Drupal CMS user experience to Editors creating and maintaining that content.

    The VA follows the U.S. Digital Services Playbook and "Default to Open", therefore project repositories are fully open source:

    Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with a remote cross-functional team to deliver well-performing and scalable services and components
    • Grasp the overall technical landscape and offer guidance on solution direction, architecture, and tradeoffs
    • Identify client needs and 'meet them where they are’ through empathy, mentorship and advice
    • Mitigate technical, resource, and timeline risks
    • Conduct peer code reviews, including evaluation of regression testing and test coverage, adherence to acceptance criteria, and code best practices
    • Complete high-complexity tasks both independently and collaboratively as neede

    • Support the practice of engineering within the larger company as needed

    Basic qualifications

    • 10+ years of full-time experience as a Software Engineer
    • 4+ years of production experience with Drupal

    • Solid foundation in software engineering fundamentals and best-practices, including object-oriented programming, design patterns, CICD, and writing automated tests and testable code

    • Experience with accessibility requirements, standards, and testing tools

    • Familiarity with modern Javascript and Node.js and an ability to contribute to a Javascript codebase
