• Solve challenging technical problems across the stack to develop critical customer-facing features; includes the frontend (React, Typescript), communication layer (GraphQL, Apollo), and backend (Python, Flask, sqlalchemy).

• You are an engineer by trade, with a history of shipping production code and designing distributed systems to work at scale.

About The Role:

Agero has a vision to automate the roadside assistance industry. This means providing the automotive and insurance industry with a way to enter details about people who have broken down, then automatically determining the best quality and fastest response from thousands of towers and their nationwide fleet of tow trucks all running our towing app.This creates interesting UI/UX challenges - we’re building something that no one else has built and we have three user perspectives on the same data. As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll:

• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to plan and build product capabilities that enable our ambitious visual development goals.

• Have 5+ years of experience shipping features and products, with a focus on web frameworks and products
• Have proven experience scaling Mongo systems 
• Are familiar with Node.js and TypeScript and can write scalable services and APIs using Express.js, GraphQL, Apollo, and MongoDB

In this role, you will: 

• Work with product managers, designers, firmware and infra engineers to architect, build, test and deliver full stack features across front-end, back-end and mobile. Golang, GraphQL, Typescript, React and React Native are some of the components of our technology stack. Direct experience with these technologies is not required.

In this role, you’ll manage the team responsible for evolving and transforming our Inventory Management Systems as SaaS across our fulfillment network. We build modern software with modern techniques like Test Driven Development, continuous delivery, DevOps, and service-oriented architecture.
