Recognized as a subject matter expert, they lead major Engineering projects and strategic initiatives, showcasing in-depth knowledge of industry trends and effectively communicating complex technical issues. With an expert ability to identify and advocate for strategic changes, they play a key role in shaping Webflow's architecture and guiding the company's future.   • The cash compensation for this role is tailored to align with the cost of labor in different US geographic markets. The base pay for this role ranges from $234,900 in our lowest geographic market up to $341,600 in our highest geographic market. These figures are in $USD and apply to candidates in the United States. The specific base pay within the range will be determined by the candidate’s geographic location, job-related experience, knowledge, qualifications, and skills.

As a Principal Engineeryou’ll:

  • Drive engineering innovation across the entire company

You’ll thrive as a Principal Engineer if:

As Senior Backend Engineer, you’ll: 

  • Develop a comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish our business goals.

Samsara’s Compensation Philosophy:Samsara’s compensation program is designed to deliver Total Direct Compensation (based on role, level, and geography) that is at or above market. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a remote cross-functional team to deliver well-performing and scalable services and components
  • Grasp the overall technical landscape and offer guidance on solution direction, architecture, and tradeoffs

  • Mitigate technical, resource, and timeline risks

About the role:

Samsara’s Trailers & Equipment teams focus on delivering solutions for trailer and powered equipment tracking. We help customers understand the utilization of trailers, and the location of expensive assets, and provide them with insight into the health of equipment. We ingest large amounts of data from our hardware in real time and help customers make sense of their overall logistics through real-time visibility, reporting, and alerting.

As a software engineer focusing on full-stack at Samsara, you will design and develop features touching many parts of our system that have a tangible impact on customers. About the Role:

We’re looking to add a Senior Data Integration Engineer with a strong background in data engineering and development.  You will work with a team of software and data engineers to build client-facing data-first solutions utilizing data technologies such as SQL Server and MongoDB. You will develop data pipelines to transform/wrangle/integrate the data into different data zones.

Your skills
