What You Will Do

  • You’ll be responsible for building software to help companies build cultures in which their employees thrive.
  • You’ll partner with other engineers to build and own products across a modern tech stack. Our current stack includes Typescript, React, Relay Modern, GraphQL, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and AWS.
  • You’ll drive forward the execution of complex projects, many of which require tight cross-functional collaboration with product managers and designers as well as cross-team collaboration between engineers.
  • You will make contributions to our engineering practices, identifying and evangelizing improvements to improve our team output.
  • You will create and update high-quality technical documentation based on feedback from relevant stakeholders.
  • You will focus on improving our user experience and find creative ways to reduce user pain points.

What You Will Bring to the Table

  • You are passionate about software development and have 2+ years of professional experience writing and maintaining production-level applications.
  • You have production-level experience in TypeScript, React, GraphQL, Node.js, and are passionate about learning and using any new technologies that are required at the job.
  • Prior experience within B2B SaaS is a plus, not a requirement.
  • You are efficient in SQL and know how to model data and write performant queries in a relational database like PostgreSQL.
  • You love to work on challenging projects that require coordination with multiple teams and multiple engineers.
  • You are able to seek out the root cause when debugging software defects, and champion improvements that prevent future issues.
  • You are always striving towards understanding the codebase inside and out.
  • You have the ability to understand the nuances of product requirements and translate them into code.
  • You take care to write code that your colleagues will also own, comprehend, and maintain.
  • You are clear and concise in explaining your thought process and in enumerating the tradeoffs made in your work.

 

The estimated annual cash salary for this role is $112,000 - $164,500. This position is also eligible for incentive stock options, subject to the terms of Lattice’s applicable plans.

What you'll do

We are looking for experienced frontend engineers to join our team. We have growing frontend needs, so we’re looking for highly motivated individuals that are excited to join a team and work with product and content owners, designers, and other software engineers to build and scale services at Cloudflare. We work across many different product lines, so you will have the chance to interact with many different teams and learn different technologies.

  • Work closely with designers, content owners, project managers and other software engineers to add new functionality to our Cloudflare Dashboard

  • For Colorado-basedhires: Estimated annual salary of $168,000 - $206,000.

Mid Level (3)

  • For Bay Area-based hires: Estimated annual salary of $140,000 - $195,000
  • For New York City, Washington, and California (excluding Bay Area) based hires: Estimated annual salary of $133,000 - $186,000

  • Provide technical assessments, enhancement opportunities, and process optimizations for the Lattice security monitoring, alerting, and security incident response program
  • Provide technical leadership, and guidance in the secure design, implementation, and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure and key platform services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and increase security, confidentiality, data integrity and privacy, and site reliability.

THE ROLE

Currently we are focused on providing equitable solutions to historically under-resourced communities of learners and teachers, and guided by our Engineering Principles. On the Product team, you might work on projects such as:

  • Integrating state of the art learning science into our product to enable learners and teachers to quickly identify and address learning gaps on the fly.
  • Partnering with public school districts with a high percentage of Free and Reduced Price Lunch students to build and scale our teacher and learner tools to millions of learners who otherwise would not have discovered us.
  • Building tools for teachers to use Khan Academy as a strategic supplement in their classrooms.

With the recent launch of Khanmigo and Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a technology, this role will help harness the power of AI to deliver the product capabilities where applicable.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 8+ years experience building world-class product experiences for an interactive web-app. In particular, you have built and maintained scalable backend services, as well as complex, stateful frontend user interfaces.
  • Prior experience building a learning or assessments experience (using using Generative AI / LLMs a plus).

THE ROLE

            The Workflows team is focused on building a HRIS automation product. The team is responsible for building a cohesive automation solution that tracks the entire lifecycle of an employee.

            What You Will Do

            • You’ll be responsible for building software to help companies build cultures in which their employees thrive.
            • You’ll partner with other engineers to build and own products across a modern tech stack. (Our current stack includes: React, Relay Modern, GraphQL, Node, and PostgreSQL. We rely on AWS to host our infrastructure. We use Temporal for complex event flow management along with AWS EventBus).
            • You’ll craft contributions to our engineering practices, identifying and evangelizing improvements to improve team output.
            • You’ll provide substantial mentorship to less experienced colleagues, helping to refine their technical craft and expand their knowledge.
            • You’ll independently lead the execution of complex projects, including those that require cross-functional collaboration with product managers and designers.
            • You will create high-quality Technical Design Documents and address review comments from relevant stakeholders

            What You Will Bring to the Table

            • You are passionate about Software Development and have 5+ years of professional experience writing and maintaining production-level applications.
            • You are proficient  in TypeScript, React and GraphQL and passionate about learning and using any new technologies that are required at the job.
            • You are efficient in SQL and know how to model data and write performant queries in a relational database like PostgreSQL.
            • You love to work on challenging projects.

             

            • You are able to seek  out the root cause when debugging software defects, and champion improvements that prevent future issues.
