    • Працював з Laravel (2+ роки): Eloquent ORM, Artisan, роунтинг, міграції, Blade, на рівні як написання круд, так складної логіки команд із джобами.
    • Досвідчений в API: Створення RESTful API, OAuth2, JWT, інтеграція сторонніх сервісів.
    • Гуру в MySQL: проєктування, оптимізація запитів, складні SQL-запити.
    • Чітко розумієш роботу Git.
    • Маєш розуміння як працює Redis, як кешувати, як працюють різні команди, та як працюють черги Laravel в Redis.
    • Вмієш працювати з Docker, писати свої файли.
    • GitLab CI буде плюсом.

      What you’ll do:

      • Provide daily interface with and communications support for a VIP Federal customer
      • Work with a highly qualified technical team
      • Develop new applications and maintain legacy apps

      What you’ll need to succeed:

      • You have an active TS/SCI eligible clearance and Security + certification
      • You have a BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or Mathematics.
      • You have at least six to eight (6-8) years in database administration and management
      • Use SQL tools to monitor daily database activity and health
      • Experience creating complex SQL Queries, Stored Procedures, Views, Cursors and User Defined Functions to implement business logic
      • Experience providing primary support to various business critical SQL Server applications
      • Knowledge of migrating, backing up, and restoring databases in place or to new environments.
      • Familiarity with other relational database systems such as MySQL, etc.
      • Experience overseeing the installation, configuration, and maintenance of databases in Kubernetes and Linux environment.
      • Experience with containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker) and cloud services (Azure, AWS)
      • CI & CD development experience with technologies like Gitlab, Bash or Jenkins
      • Proficiency in SQL and experience with PL or similar procedural language
      • Experience with Linux/Unix and scripting languages such as Bash, Python, Json.
      • Able to support and troubleshoot RDBMS platforms on Linux, Kubernetes and Windows environment.

      Qualifications

      • Working knowledge of any Cloud Environment (AWS or Azure)
      • Working knowledge of other Database Technologies (MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB etc)

We’re seeking a Database Engineer II to help define how we accomplish this goal, and to help us achieve it.

      You will: 

      • Understand the design and architecture of new highly-available and fault-tolerant cloud-based databases, as well as how we redesign existing systems
      • Participate and collaborate with the team taking ownership of the most intellectually-demanding parts of solutions and deliver bar-raising solutions
      • Investigate hard-to-pin-down problems across a complex and distributed architecture so you can explain root causes and propose solutions
      • Make a case for how we stay ahead of capacity issues and limit the blast radius of issues when a cluster is stressed
      • Work with database clients to improve their use of databases (e.g. optimize queries, evolve data models)
      • Advocate for solutions that help teams launch quality software without compromising delivery speed.
      • Work on automation of database infrastructure and help engineering succeed by providing self-service tools

      You have:

      • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent training or work experience.
      • 5+ years of experience building successful production software systems
      • Experience configuring any of the following database systems: MySQL, Cassandra, Couchbase, Elasticsearch, NoSQL
      • Experience configuring and administering BI database system like Vertica is ideal
      • Experience managing database systems in a hybrid cloud (on-prem & public cloud)
      • Familiarity with distributed event streaming platforms, especially Kafka
      • Familiarity creating architectures that scale with volume and are fault-tolerant
      • Experience with distributed persistent systems & asynchronous messaging
      • Experience tuning distributed systems to improve their performance under increasing volumes of traffic
      • Proven ability to work in a fully remote environment with people across the globe
      • Relevant certifications are a plus (e.g AWS Certification, Google Cloud Platform Certification)

      Basic Qualifications:

      • Experience as a telemetry/monitor technician, Holter scanner or other specialty requiring ECG interpretation. Ability to read and process ECG/EKG records.
      • Previous experience testing medical devices and the related verification, validation, and documentation requirements.

      About the Team

      Our IT & Security is a fully cross-functional team that manages all IT and Security requests and requirements, manages our security framework, obligations, and compliance initiatives. Working closely with all other teams within Vidyard, the IT & Security team is positioned to provide world class support both to Vidyardians and our current and prospective clients throughout the sales enablement process. In addition, the team works alongside the Product and Engineering teams to ensure the security and protection, availability, and confidentiality of customer data remains top of mind and a company-wide priority.  

      What You’ll Work On

      • Designing, building, and maintaining tooling, software, and systems for securing our cloud infrastructure and/or applications.
      • Owning the delivery and success of security engineering projects that span across engineering teams.

      What You’ll Bring to this Role and Your New Team

      • 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity at software development or SaaS company.
      • Experience working within a startup environment.
      • A strong understanding of the domains in which you work ex. cloud security issues/best practises, AWS, observability tooling, GDPR, security tooling and automation.
      • Experience with mentorship is preferred, as this will be a pivotal role in the Security team.

      The Opportunity
