  • Be both highly technical and an effective people manager

We are looking for:

  • 2+ years of engineering management, including hands-on technical management
  • Demonstrated experience recruiting and managing technical teams, including performance management
  • 8+ years of experience in designing enterprise systems, building highly-available, scalable, fault-tolerant, secure, distributed systems
  • Self driven, initiative taker with good communication skills, ability to hire, lead and mentor technical teams, meet deadlines, manage stakeholder expectations
  • Technical expertise in NodeJS, Ruby, React, Lambda, micro-services, Authentication, Authorization etc.

We are looking for a Senior Technical Engineering Manager to join our team. As a Senior Technical Engineering Manager on the CX and Reporting team, you will provide technical leadership to your teams for UI, API, and database architectures for products that allow customers to control and report on ad verification, analytics, and anti-ad fraud solutions. What you’ll do:

  • Lead a full stack team of 5-6 engineers in the entire software development lifecycle, including hands-on development, code reviews, testing, deployment, and documentation while working in a collaborative team environment

  • Assist teams with scrum activities to keep their sprints moving forward effectively

  • Provide senior leadership to aid the technical leads in driving towards good solutions

  • Partner with stakeholders across the company to understand product requirements, gather business and technical requirements from broadcaster clients, and research and develop solutions for complex interactive user interfaces

  • Manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, exciting, collaborative environment

  • Encourage innovation and foster an environment of continuous improvement

  • Manage hiring, performance evaluations, and retention strategies to maintain a high-performing team and ensure organizational alignment while balancing team satisfaction

 Who you are and what you have: 

  • BS in Computer Science, or related STEM degree

  • 8+ years of hands-on development experience with  5+ years of team management, including daily activities, ticket grooming, performance reviews and promotions 

  • Prior experience partnering with Product and other stakeholders across the company to meet business deliverables

  • Experience working with other teams or technical program managers to coordinate cross-team projects

  • Excellent communication skills and track record of building relationships with

  • Extensive experience with mobile development languages (e.g., Swift for iOS, Kotlin for Android) and frameworks. 
  • Knowledge of mobile app security best practices, performance optimization, and cross-platform development tools (e.g., React Native, Flutter).

Preferred Experience

Compensation, Rewards & Benefits:

Our estimate of the expected hiring range for the position as posted is $130,000 - $232,000. What We’re Looking For:

The anticipated salary range for this position is $169,243.00 - $230,000.00. What we’re looking for:

  • 15+ years of experience in software engineering, including 8+ years of experience managing software engineering teams

  • Passionate about solving the problems for the construction industry. Preferably experience in building construction-tech solutions 

  • Experience in GIS, Mapping solutions or construction design software like ESRI, QGIS, Mapbox or others

Compensation and Benefits

Our anticipated compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets, and the range below indicates the low end of the lowest-compensated market to the high end of the highest-compensated market.
