Position Overview:

EmpowerRD is seeking a Client Onboarding Manager with a background in R&D tax credit. The client Onboarding Manager will lead the effective implementation of our onboarding strategy, ensuring our clients can seamlessly adopt and benefit from our R&D funding solutions. This role offers the chance to make a significant impact on our operations and client experience, under the direct supervision of the Head of SMB Success.

Key Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of the EmpowerRD client onboarding strategy and accelerating the client’s adoption of EmpowerRD’s R&D claims product.
• Utilise your R&D tax credit experience to manage a comprehensive onboarding process, ensuring new and renewing clients receive a meticulously planned programme that outlines clear objectives, timelines, and procedures.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the onboarding phase, setting realistic expectations, aligning on goals, managing timelines, and providing consistent updates.
• Build implementation strategies to ensure clients are onboarded within the defined SLAs. Coordinate communication with other areas of the business to ensure a streamlined approach for every client.
• Handle multiple projects concurrently, prioritising business outcomes, client satisfaction, and the integrity of technical solutions.
• Ensure a smooth transition of accounts to the Delivery Team
• Contribute to company-wide initiatives aimed at refining processes, with an eye for automation and scalable improvements.

• Demonstrated experience in R&D tax credit, preferably within a client-facing role.
• Technical R&D scheme knowledge

• Experience with unit testing components and integration testing

We're looking for a Senior Ruby Developer to help lead the continued development of a best in class SaaS tax platform. We’ll look for you to lead the build of new product features and maintain our platform, working closely with engineers, product managers, the operational team and leadership. You’ll enjoy a varied breadth of work in a challenging but rewarding environment.

• Ensure that the SDLC process is followed and work is technically specced into well-defined, accurately scoped and well understood JIRA tasks, bringing your experience to influence and improve our process ensuring optimal sprint output and cycle time.
• Provide valuable and effective peer reviews through merge requests, actively seeking to enhance the entire team by consistently sharing knowledge.
