Job Description

The Lead Power Platform Developer is a combination role with requirements to support architecting solutions and being the hands-on lead for a Power Platform Model-Driven App solution and Power Pages solution. They will be responsible for supporting our portfolio team to fully define features and their solution for development teams to implement. As a lead developer they will be the senior technical lead for architecting and implementing a new requirement that will include a Power Pages portal. This is an existing solution which you will be supporting, so you must be comfortable learning an existing application model and working within its limits to build the best solution possible. Responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing requirements and creating solution design within the constraints of the existing system and platform
  • Developing complex solutions using Power Pages and Power Platform
  • Guiding and reviewing solutions built by other developers
  • Providing solution architecture guidance and expertise across the program and to the customer

Projected compensation range for this position is $145K - $170K. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as internal pay equity, location, contract-specific affordability and other organizational requirements.

Required Skills

  • At least 8 years of of experience architecting and delivering solutions in the Microsoft Power Platform
  • Deep knowledge of and significant hands-on experience implementing Microsoft Power Platform, especially Dataverse, Model-driven Apps, and Power Pages.
  • Must have C# and JavaScript skills.
  • Experience with Power Pages, including at minimum one full Power Pages project delivered.
  • Should have experience with Liquid templates and creating a high-quality UI layout in a Power Pages site (i.e., not out-of-the-box styling.)
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, support, and guide a development team implementing on Power Platform
  • Strong communication skills to deliver technical solution explanations to non-technical and technical client contacts

Desirable Skills

  • Active federal government public trust clearance
  • Microsoft Azure certifications

Job Description

The developer will implement, support, and enhance custom applications using Dynamics 365 and Power Apps Model Driven frameworks. Responsibilities include the following:

  • Perform as a developer for the delivery of Dynamics 365 configuration, custom assembly development, integration code and data migration scripts
  • Perform design and development of full-lifecycle development efforts which are based on Microsoft Dynamics 365, Canvas or Model Driven frameworks
  • Work as part of an integrated Agile team to develop user stories, use cases and design artifacts to effectively convey requirements to both client stakeholders and development teams

The projected compensation range for this position is $120K-145K (annualized USD). The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as internal pay equity, location, contract-specific affordability and other organizational requirements.

Required Skills

  • At least 6 years of total IT experience performing complex application development projects on the Microsoft stack working closely with cross-functional Team Members in Agile Development environment.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on development experience with Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.
  • In-depth hands-on knowledge of the Microsoft Dynamics platform, the entity model, security model, and Web services.
  • Strong working knowledge of the Power Platform suite (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agent, Power Pages) and Dataverse
  • Hands-on experience implementing solutions that involve Dynamics customization to include server-side code, custom business logic, integration modules, workflow assemblies and plug-ins.
  • Excellent client-facing written and oral communications skills

Job Description

The senior developer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying custom applications using the Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365. They will work within an Agile development team and collaborate with other developers, business analysts, testers and project managers to ensure that the project requirements are met and that solutions are designed following best practices for Microsoft development. They will help translate business requirements into working solutions that make the most of out-of-the-box capabilities of Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform.  Responsibilities include: 

  • Develop and customize Dynamics 365 applications using Model-driven Power Apps with Dataverse, Power Automate, Power BI, and Azure services
  • Design and implement user interfaces, business logic, workflows, and integrations using the Power Platform and Dynamics 365
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and quality assurance of the developed solutions
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues and provide technical support as needed
  • Document and maintain the technical specifications and design documents of the solutions

Required Skills

  • Demonstrable intermediate to advanced kills with most of the following: Power Apps, Power Pages, PCF Controls, SharePoint Online, Azure Functions, Azure logic apps, Azure API Management Gateway, Power Virtual Agents, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and Power BI.
  • Proficient in C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL
  • Hands-on experience architecting solutions that involve Dynamics customization to include server side code, custom business logic, integration modules, workflow assemblies and plug-ins
  • Experience in using tools such as Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Power Apps Studio, and Jira
